I'm actually trying to hold his hands. But guess what, no chances since it's in his pocket.
We're currently walking down the road to go to han river. It's perfect since the weather's sunny and a bit windy.
"Jungwoo, I wan—I mean can I hold your hand?" My face is probably a blushing mess. When it comes to Jungwoo, I try my best to be confident but knowing he doesn't return the feelings I feel makes it hard.
He looked hesitant, besides not all people in Korea agrees on lgbt. We'd be having alot of odd looks on our way. Jungwoo put his hand out of his pocket. His ears burning red, how cute.
My heart was thumping loud when I held his hands. Everything seems right with him. I actually like this suffocating feeling of my fast beating heart, all because of him.
We rode the bus on the way to Han River. The bus was almost packed leaving one seat open.
"You take the seat Jungwoo." At first he was shocked. I rarely act gentleman when I'm with him before. We will always race our way to the last vacant seat.
"Are you sure, Yukhei?" I nodded gleefully, making him know I am.
"Are you really sure you're okay?" Frowning, I nodded again. He questions my gesture now, is that a good sign?
My last relationship was 8th grade. All puppy love and sht. I was straight that time, since Jungwoo was busy that time being nerdy and all, ofcourse that didn't stop him from being attractive.
We reached the destination in time. As soon as we stepped out of the bus, I breathe in the air and spread out my arms.
"It's a picnic date!" I said smiling widely. Jungwoo was smiling a bit because of my silliness.
I grabbed his hands as I pulled him with me, running in the green field.
"In a picnic date, be sure to not forget the picnic basket." I said in a Butler like voice. Imagining I have a moustache.
"Pfft, Yukhei just lay that out now." I almost made him laugh. I layed the picnic blanket down to the grass, same goes with the basket.
"Ladies first." He actually raised a brow at me.
"Are you telling me that I'm the girl here? When it was you who fell for my charms first." Exclaimed Jungwoo. I gave him a shrug as an answer.
"Remember, when noona made you wear and put make up last time? You looked really hot that time." Jungwoo rolled his eyes at me for the first time. "What are you talking about? I'm always hot."
So that was the only thing he heard wrong in that sentence?
"Let's play, rock paper scissor. Winner gets a free ice cream from the convenient store, loser buys the ice cream." I suggested, wiggling my eyebrows at him. He smirked, which made me die for a minute.
"Alright! Rock paper scissor!" My hand formed a rock. Jungwoo had a paper.
"Okay, why am I losing a game I suggested?" Rolling my eyes I stood up from the blanket.
"I'm a born winner, Yukhei." We looked at each other before laughing.
"I guess so, since you've won my heart alot of times." I sent a wink at his direction, before turning around because I could feel my cheeks heat up from the cringe.
"Aaaaissh, Yukhei! Just buy me ice cream already." I'm not the only one flustered then, good to know.
In my hands is a plastic of Jungwoo's ice cream. I bought him like 3 since he loves it. From a distance I could see two men who was standing infront of the now standing Jungwoo. He looked uncomfortable.
"Hey excuse me! What are you guys doing to him huh?" I quicken my pace to get to Jungwoo quickly.
"Mind your own business boy. We have this pretty lad in safe hands." The other man snickered. Jungwoo glanced at me, his face full of discomfort.
"I'm with him, why don't you filthy men scatter off?" I held Jungwoo's hands in my back, making him sure he's safe.
"Hahaha little boy telling us to scatter off. You brave on us two?" The rougher looking man said.
"I'm calling the police if you don't get lost."
"Go call your police, see what they can do if they found you dead by then." I huffed, before taking a step forward.
"Why don't you see and try?" The rougher one took a step before casting off a punch, that I quickly dodged.
"You got lucky boy, but not to this one." He threw another punch, dodging it before punching him back.
"You're all talk, what about hitting me for once?" The other man casted off a uppercut, which I took a step backwards to avoid. I kicked him in the stomach before punching his other colleague.
"Let's go, we shouldn't waste time with this bastard." They ran away as fast as they can.
"Yukhei! Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?" Jungwoo ran to me, his face now full of worry. It somehow made me smile.
"I'm fine, but are you? Did they hurt you?" I held his shoulders and looked straight into his doe eyes.
"I-I'm fine, they just called me names. Nothing else." Jungwoo averted his gaze from mine. I felt relieved that he didn't get hurt.
I pulled him to a hug, "Next time I won't let people call you names or hurt you anymore." I felt his arms hug me back, making me hug him tighter.
"Let's go home?" I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"But first let me finish my ice cream here." I nodded, chuckling at his cuteness. Jungwoo grinned at me cheekily before grabbing his ice cream from my hands.
We sat on the blanket, as we stared at the blue sky.
"That cloud looks like a clown." Jungwoo hit my back. He hated clowns.
"Yah! Don't mention them while I sit here in peace." I just laughed at him, before pointing another cloud.
"That cloud looks like Taeyong hyung!" I exclaimed. Jungwoo glanced up the sky, his eyes searching for the cloud I pointed.
"Where? It's supposed to be pointed." We both laughed as he saw the pointed cloud.
"This cloud looks like my future wife." I said while looking at him.
"Where?" I pointed at him. Jungwoo glared at me but his cheeks told me otherwise.
"Shut up, Yukhei." He shoved his half eaten popsicle in my mouth. Earning him a glare.
"Ayfff raikf fyu scho mwaush Jupu." I said while still eating the popsicle.
"Don't talk when your mouth is full!" He hit my head.
"Aawwfffch!" I rubbed the spot he hit. I pulled out the popsicle and spoke.
"I said, I like you so much Jungwoo." I said staring at his eyes. He looked taken aback, his face was colored with flaming red.
"S-shut up, Yukhei."
"Shut up means kiss me." I said smirking.
"Shut up, Yuk—" I kissed him on the lips. He was asking for it, I won't hesitate to give it.
His lips felt right with mine. It was soft, just like an ice cream. It tasted sweet because of it. My heart was thumping so loud, it felt like it'll explode.
After the kiss, I looked at him in the eye and said, "I like you so so much, can you please be my boyfriend?" Blood was rushing up my face, same with Jungwoo.
"Would you study harder if I say yes?" He was grinning, he's such a tease.
"Hmmm.... I would. Since you're my inspiration." I winked at the last word. Jungwoo giggled, and it was very cute.
"Then yes, I will be your boyfriend." Everything felt like a dream. My whole world was beyond shook.
I pecked his lips before standing up and shouting 'yes!' in the air.
"EVERYONE, JUNGWOO'S MY BOYFRIEND!!!" Jungwoo kept on hitting my legs and was telling me to sit down.
"Lucas! Sit down, you're attracting to much attention now." I finally decided to obey my 'boyfriend'. Still gets me chills everytime I think about it.
"Now, let's go home." I saluted Jungwoo and helped him up.
"Give me a piggyback ride, boyfriend." I happily did what I was told. He's very light so it's fine.
"Onwards!" Jungwoo commanded. We both start laughing as I ran back to the bus station which will lead us home.
As we get on the bus, Jungwoo halt my hands as I was about to tap my card.
"Let me pay for this ride." He winked at me. ARE YOU HEARING ME? JUNGWOO WINKED AT ME!
"Yukhei, let's go sit." He said as he tugged my sleeves.
I let him sit on the window side, since I don't want people entering this bus stare at my boyfriend.
"Did you have fun?" I asked. I was fiddling with the hem of my long sleeves. When I didn't get a response, I checked Jungwoo who was sleeping. His head leaning on the window.
I made him lean to my shoulders. Making me grin like a mad man. This is just like in the movies!
Jungwoo looks like an angel sleeping on my shoulder. He's so cute, I could watch him all day and still watch him the next day.
As the bus stopped, Jungwoo woke up.
"Oh gosh, I'm sorry I fell asleep." I hold his hands and told him it's fine as we got off the bus.
We held hands while walking. It's cheesy but I really like holding Jungwoo's pretty hands.
"I still can't believe you said yes." I said, breaking the silence.
"Well, it's a matter of time so start believing and studying harder." He said smiling. I smiled back.
"I will." As we reached his house, I still didn't let go of his hands.
"Now, give me my goodbye kiss." I pointed at my cheeks, puffing it. Jungwoo slapped my face away jokingly. Making the both of us laugh.
"No more kisses for today! Goodluck tomorrow though." He smirked, turning his back from me as he walked towards his house.
"I'll make sure to have it tomorrow. Mark my words!" I shouted as he opened the door to their house. Jungwoo look back at me, he let his tongue out. He was mocking me.
"Go and try." I shook my head laughing. I waited for Jungwoo to close the door before proceeding to go home.
It's such a nice first date.
