Teppei’s POV

I opened my eyes finding myself in a cold temperature room where I saw Hyuuga-kun sitting beside the futon I was lying on. He gave me that bored expression and lifted his chin that was resting on his palm and put his hands on his knees. “You’re finally awake” he said as I sat up from the soft layer beneath me and looked around. “You passed out due to the bleeding of your nose earlier”

Wait, I did?

I looked at him dumb founded, not remembering the reason why. “W-Why?” I stammered.

He shrugged in response and stood up. “For some reason, Kyo came up with a conclusion that you nose bleed because Ame was wearing a swimsuit”

 Kyo-chan why conclude such a thing?! O///O

“Is that even believable?” Hyuuga-kun sighed, sounding unconvinced. “Well, it doesn’t matter now since you’re okay. C’mon, everyone’s at the cafeteria eating dinner”

“Okay” I stood up and wore my indoor slippers and followed Hyuuga before realizing—“Wait, it’s dinner already?!?!?!”

“I really slept that long?!” I reacted after everyone in the team told me the whole story of the day.

Midorima, Takao and the said step-sister of Kyo and Amei-chan, Asami joined us during dinner too, since Kyo had invited them over.

“Yeah, it’s really weird since you only nose bleed” Koga laughed at me, after finishing his food.

By now, all of us had clean plates in front of us, including Kuroko despite his small appetite. Kyo had prepared dinner for us, for better safety, and that is, not letting Riko cook for tonight. They were currently telling me the events of today’s training where they all wasted their time in playing volleyball, as said by Kagami.

“I see. That’s a shame I didn’t get to watch you guys” I said and gave them a smile.

“No, it was really peaceful actually. No Teme, bothering me” Amei spoke up, playing on her PSP and gave me a cold glare. “You should do that more often”

It’s like a snow blizzard had struck the whole cafeteria after Amei said those hurtful words to me. As if she didn’t care that I lost blood TT^TT Kyo whacked her head in annoyance as her face hit the table, leaving a big lump on her forehead.

“K-Kyo…” Amei grunted and glared at her sister and was about to tackle her when I pulled her back to her seat preventing her from doing so.

“Amei-chan, don’t” I held her hand and gave her a look, not noticing our faces a few inches from each other. o///o

She’s emotionless as ever… “Whatever, I’m going to get revenge later” she pulled her hand away from mine and continued to play on her PSP.

I blushed a little and stared down at the ground, pulling back my hand. “Hey, do you guys know about the old Japanese ghost of this inn?” Takao opened up a topic making Asami who was sitting beside him pale up. We all looked at him and blinked as he smirked. “No one knows about it?”

We all shook our heads.

He exhaled and crossed his arms. “Well then, let me tell you about it…” by now Asami was shivering beside him while we all looked at him curiously as he gave us a scary look.

*Gulp*

“Well it started when…” Takao was about to start when Amei-chan stood up and left us in the cafeteria. Several glances were at the direction where she disappeared, as questioning faces were those glances.

“What’s wrong with Araki-senpai?” Furihata asked to his fellow freshmen Fukuda, who just shrugged his shoulders. “No idea” he replied and was followed by Kawahara. “Maybe she doesn’t like to hear scary stories?”

“Araki-san, scared of ghost stories?” Koga snorted, only to receive a paper fan from Kyo. “Koga-senpai, Ame-ne is not a scaredy cat like you!” she pointed out, shooting a dagger at him. Ouch, that gotta hurt. Being called a scaredy cat I mean.

“Anyway, I’m going after her” I inform them and stood up, following to where Amei-chan was. I found her by the lobby are, sitting on one of the chairs as I sat the opposite to hers, watching her play on her PSP. Hehe, Amei-chan kawaii~ ^_^ “Amei-chan”

“Teme, why did you follow me” she asked with a cold tone without looking at me.

“I just thought that you wanted company” was my simple answer.

“Well, I don’t want any. Leave”

“Amei-chan, why did you leave the cafeteria?” I asked ignoring her request. She looked away from her PSP with a dagger directly to me and then she answered.

“Because of people” she stated, looking back at her game.

“Because of people?” I continued to pester her, haha. ^_^ I heard a loud thud as I saw Amei-chan’s PSP on the table and her face looked really annoyed.

“I can’t finish my game if you’re here disturbing me. Ask me your questions and I’ll answer it. After that, leave me alone” she said firmly, crossing her arms, and leaned her back on the chair.

I blinked at her for a while and smiled. “It’s really rare for you two do such thing, Amei-chan”

“If you have no more questions, then please leave”

“O-Oi, wait a minute, Amei-chan, don’t be too impatient”

“Unfortunately, I am so if you’ll excuse me—”

“Wait—Amei-chan, why do you hate people?” before she could leave, I immediately ask her a question. I didn’t even realize I grabbed her wrist on the process leaving her glaring at me again. I let go of her and she returned to her seat, crossing her arms at me.

“It’s really simple. Because people are annoying in the first place” she answered my questions.

Annoying? “How annoying?” I hope she doesn’t say… “Your type of annoying” and she said it TT__TT she leaned her head back at the chair, sleepily. “I hate it when people bug me, and always have to disturb me in my everyday life style. They’d always have to eye and judge for some reason despite me, preferring to be invisible to them” she exhaled deeply. “I want to know how that Kuroko guy does it, though”

“You mean misdirection?”

“Exactly” so Amei-chan prefers to be ignored…

“But Amei-chan, isn’t it sad when you’re ignored?”

“It’s better than being noticed and judged, Teme” Judged… what does she mean by that? Is there something Amei-chan’s hiding? I scanned her expressionless face and saw a bit of pain on it. Maybe she’s had a past before, and is not telling me?

I was silent for a while, not knowing what to reply to her until she spoke up again. “Man you idiot. You made me open up for a bit. How annoying” Amei-chan yawned while stretching her arms.

“Open up?”

“Yeah, I told you what I exactly feel around people. You should feel honoured since I rarely tell other people about it. Even Kyo doesn’t hear stuff like that from me” she pointed out, taking her PSP again.

R-Really? My hear started to lighten up after hearing that and stood up smiling at Amei-chan. “Amei-chan, does this mean you see me as a friend now?”

I hope she does!! ^w^

“No”

“I’d never accept friends again, remember that” she spat at me, as I looked taken back. She gave me one last cold glare before leaving me startled in the lobby. Why was she acting that way?

There must be something she’s hiding…

I really want to know more about her, but she seems to very distant. And like she said, she’ll never accept friends. So that makes me job harder then. I have to make friends with her. I guess bugging her and always dragging her along isn’t enough. But her opening up to me, means I’m a step closer though… if she continues to be open to me, maybe I have a chance in getting her to trust me as a friend! ^_^

Ame’s POV

“Amei-chan, does this mean you see me as a friend now?”

Grrr… stupid Teme. Now his voice is stuck in my head -__- friends? Yeah, right. I’ll never do the same mistake as before… getting some to get close to me…

It’s not like, I hate Teme or something but… I just don’t want to be friends with him. Because…

He’s like Kotaro. And Kotaro’s… annoying.

And—gah, why am I remembering this now? Teme does remind me of Kotaro -___- and I can’t believe he got me to open up like that… well, it’s not like I revealed something big. I just expressed my thoughts and opinion. Nothing about me. or my past.

OMG GUYS!!!!!!! I OWE U BIG TIME!!!! Sorry for not updating for a looooooongggg timeeeee! believe me I've gone crazy for not updating :< It's because of my projects in school! im really sorry about the super late update of this... but don't worry, on wednesday is our christmas party and then christmas break bby! ^_^
