“Man, it’s already 10:14, I wonder where Kyo and Ame-san are” Riko wondered checking her watch, while waiting for the Araki sisters to arrive. Kyo called the whole team to meet up in front of the school to go at someplace where Ame had planned on something to do. They were the hosts of the outing, but the last ones to arrive.

“By the way, did Kyo tell you where we’re going?” Junpei asked Riko, glancing at her.

“Hmm? No, she doesn’t even know either. She just said that Ame wanted to meet up at the school toady” Riko replied.

“Eh? Ame called us on our day-off, it better be reasonable” Junpei grumbled showing crankiness out of exhaustion.

“Well, look at the bright side, at least we get to bond with the team” Teppei smiled them, optimistic as always while Junpei just gave him that bored/annoyed look, knowing the reason why he’s all happy.

“More like, ‘I get to see Amei-chan’ sort of bond” T_T

“Eh!! Hyuuga-kun that’s not it!” >//////////<

“Shut up, you’re obvious. Don’t deny it!”

“Minna!” they heard Kyo’s voice, as their gazes locked on her and Ame, who was being dragged by the younger Araki. “Sorry we’re late” she stopped in front of the whole team, holding onto to Ame’s shirt.

“Oi Kyo! I told you I won’t come, didn’t I?! I already gave you the training regimen! All there’s left is to give to Coach!” Ame complained, looking completely hot-blooded.

Kyo shoved the training programs she printed last night on Ame’s face out of annoyance and shouted at her. “You’re the one who asked them here, so it’s rude if you wouldn’t go!!!!”

“Wait, training regimen?” Riko wondered but Ame brushed it off. “It’s nothing, never mind about that” the strategist muttered, putting the papers in her bag and sighed. “Anyway, today… we’ll be going to the amusement park”

“Amusement park?” o=o?

“Amusement park?” OAO

“Yeah, thought that you guys wanted to have fun” Ame murmured but Kyo and Riko didn’t seem to be convinced. They knew something was up, and Ame was hiding something. But they played along and Riko faced the team. “Right, she asked permission from me last night, and I had the same thought so I agreed”

Junpei looked at her suspiciously. “But you didn’t know about our destination until now”

“Hehe, I forgot?” Riko gave him a moe look which he didn’t buy and just sighed.

“Whatever, I’m going home” the captain was about to leave when the iron heart stopped him. “Wait a minute, Hyuuga-kun” “What do you want?” “I think it’s a great idea to go to the carnival. Like I said, it’s nice to bond with the team”

“What? T_T”

“C’mon, let’s go to the carnival together ^_^”

“If you don’t want to improve then go” Ame snapped out of nowhere leaving Junpei looking at her confused. She looked away and mutters: “It’s nothing”

He gave a hard look and sighed afterwards, agreeing. “Fine, but I don’t want wet rides, okay?”

 “Who told you, you’ll be riding?”

“What?!”

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE’RE NOT ALLOWED TO RIDE?!” the whole team reacted after Ame explained their plan for today. She mentioned something about the rides is off limits and they were only allowed to play the stands at the park. She didn’t say the reason behind it, but she hinted that’s it a good way to improve themselves. Riko seems to get the idea while Kyo just watched her attentively.

“But, what’s the sense of going to an amusement park if you’re not going for the rides?” Fukuda commented earning a glare from Ame, sending shivers down his spine. “S-Sorry!!!”

“Anyway, split into 4 groups, three members each, Riko you’ll be joining them too, so it’ll be exactly 12 members of the Seirin team” Ame instructed, walking in front of the lined up team, like a colonel scolding her cadets. Kyo stood beside like a lieutenant, and looked at today’s regimen, smiling.

‘Ame-ne creates programs like this, the way Oto-san does, she even got Oka-san’s way of thinking’ Kyo stared proudly at her sister.

“The first group, Hyuuga, Izuki and Koganei; you three would be starting at that game” Ame pointed at the game where you have to shoot hoops at bottles. “Since you three shoot more than the rest, I need you to improve them further”

“Eh? What is this, basketball training?” Junpei raised an eyebrow at her. She replied with a cold glare, making Junpei gulp in nervousness. Her glares always gave him the chills.

“Anyway, Mitobe, Tsuchida, and Kiyosh—I mean, Teme. You three would be going to that game, thingy…” Ame pointed at a game where you have to hammer the platform where the metal there has to rise up to the top to get the top prize. “And you need to get that 1st prize you hear me?!” she shouted, scaring the centre players except for Teppei.

“Got it!” =^=

Mitobe nodded.

“You can count on us, Amei-chan!” ^_^

“Good, now, the three freshmen brats go over that basketball shooting game and shoot as many as baskets as you can. Minimum would be ten shots each, and don’t you dare cheat!” Ame’s glare scared the freshmen the most who shivered while they nodded their heads. “Finally, Coach, Kuroko and Kagami, play mind games over there”

“Eh? Mind games?” Riko wondered.

“After 10 minutes of playing, come back to me and exchange games with the other groups, we’ll be done after all of you finish the games assigned to you. Oh, and if you ever thought of cheating, think that you’d also be cheating on your improvement”

“What improvement are you talking about?!”

“Just shut up, Hyuuga”

“Tch”

“Alright, 3, 2, 1, GO”

“Ame-ne, here” Kyo handed Ame a water bottle while they waited for the teams at a cafe inside the park, sitting at one of the tables. Ame stared at some paper where she hid from Kyo when she tried to take a peek. “Eh? Why are you hiding if from me?”

“It’s nothing. You’ll know about in the near future…” Ame muttered.

“What are you a fortune teller?!” Kyo blurted out. “By the way, mind explaining today’s training session?” she asked, knowing there was something behind Ame commanding the team in only playing games. She knew her sister had different ways of training that has high improvement for each player. Ame earned how to strategize from her father, but she inherited her intellectual and thinking skills from her mother. ‘She’s like oka-san, very unpredictable…’

“Oh, that” Ame recalled and gulped down some water before answering her sister. “Well for the first group, Hyuuga, Izuki and Koganei, those three are the top three shooters that can shoot three points. I made them play that ring game to improve aiming sights”

“Aiming sights?”

“Yeah, since Hyuuga’s a shooter, and so is Koganei, they need to enhance their shooting aim. While Izuki, having the eagle eye, needs more eye power”

“Eye power” Kyo sweat dropped at her sister’s used terms.

“While the centre players need more arm power especially when they have to do rebounds” Ame continued. “When rebounding, you always have to raise your arms in order to get the ball before your opponent does. But sometimes, from all that rebounding, your arm muscles get tired and you often lose to rebound battles”

“Why do I remember someone whenever you say muscle?”

“D-Don’t bring up that gorilla now!”

“Hehe… Eikichi-nee~”

“I said stop!”

“Whatever~ Continue~”

Ame’s POV

Kyo -____- she just had to bring up the thought of that muscle gorilla right now? Gah, never mind that, anyway, back to my explanation—“For the freshmen trio, they haven’t fully develop their own specialties at the court. It’s best if you could depend on them in shooting” Now, for the final group. “Now, for the last group, they just need to improve intellectual skill” I pointed at my head.

“Intellectual?”

“That’s right, Aida as the coach, needs to have stable thinking skills to avoid panicking in a time of the team’s trouble. Sometimes she has her thoughts debating on her next move. How will she able to coach the team if she herself doesn’t know what to do?” I stated the obvious and crossed my arms and legs, to look cool and superior. “And also, she needs to exercise her brain in fast-thinking during a situation”

“But that’s your job, Ame-ne T_T” Kyo mentioned giving me a look. “You’re their strategist after all”

Not for long…

I scribbled down something on the paper I’m holding and still kept it from Kyo. What? She’ll find out eventually and will surely yell and punch me at the face. “Anyway, Kagami needs to control his way of thinking to focus on battling tough opponents. We don’t recklessness from him. And Kuroko seems okay with his intellect, we just need to improve him”

“That’s right, but…” Kyo tilted her head confusingly. “It’s still very confusing…” -____-

She ruffled her hair trying to cope up all of the information I told her.

“Don’t push yourself” T=T

TIMESKIP~

After an hour, everyone was assembled at the café, all were sweating from the heat and others had mental block from the mind game I let them play. Junpei approached me with his clutch personality and pointed at my face. “OI AME! I don’t get why you’re letting us do this, but…” he had a short paused before all of the guys except some begged me. “Please let us ride!”

“Idiots! That’s not what I’m trying to say!” Junpei scolded his players. Teme, Kagami, Kuroko, Izuki and Coach were the only ones who stood normally and watched the others beg.

“Well, this is a day off” Teme pointed out with a goofy smile.

“That’s right! And it’s a great time to bond with the team! Right, Izuki-senpai?” Kyo asked for Izuki’s support which he returned a pun.

“I’m afraid knot, Kyo—”

“Shut up” I punched his face and faced the whole team with the stern look. Their puppy dog eyes didn’t affect me at all, but I allowed them anyway. “You’re all done anyway, so you can all scatter ‘round this park and leave” I waved my hand freely and they all cheered.

“ARIGATO! AME-SAN!”

Yeah, yeah, T_T.

“Just leave me alone” I murmured.

“Hey! You’re not supposed to split up!” Coach reminded stopping them from running.

“Seriously, you’re like little kids” Hyuga commented.

“Yeah, stop kidding around”

“Izuki, shut up”

“Anyway, if you’re going to ride, then at least go together” Kyo told them. “Or better yet, let’s all go together!!!” WHAT??!!

“O-Oi Kyo! I’m not going with you!” I exclaimed before she could drag me into any of this.

“C’mon Ame-ne, don’t be a kill joy”

“What a happy murderer you are, Ame!”

“Izuki, shut up!”

What’s happening here -___- I just invited them to the amusement park to let them play games that’ll help them improve intellectually. And here I am, getting forced to bond with the team. -___-

“No, just go ahead without me” I waved them off, with a bored tone. Before Kyo could protest, I turn my back at her and felt someone pat my head.

“C’mon Amei-chan, let’s go with them. It’ll be fu~n” Teme o_o

“Tch, fun. The only fun I know is when I play games!” I spat, removing his hand from my head. “And stop patting me!”

“But it feels good when I do, you’re hair’s really soft ^_^” stupid Teme -___-

“C’mon Ame-ne, it’ll be a big waste if you didn’t ride on any of these” K-Kyo OAO She gave me a too happy smile that always has something evil behind it. I gulped as she walked closer to me. “Let’s go”

As if I have a choice -___- I hid the papers in my bag and dropped the form—crap, the form! Teme freaking saw it!!!

Author’s POV

Ame bent down to go grab the form she was writing on, at the same time Teppei did. They ended up touching each other’s hands, causing the player’s face to blush and Ame grabbed the paper nervously. “Y-You idiot!”

“G-Gomen, Amei-chan!”

Kyo stared at the two and smiled. ‘I hope something romantic happens to them ^_^’ she fangirled internally and remembered what Ame said earlier. ‘The only fun I know is when I play games’

‘Ame-ne forgot what fun is…’

“Oh, we should ride that rollercoaster over there!”

“Shut up! Go ride by yourself!”

‘But I think she’ll remember what fun is today’
