“Amei-chan” someone poked my cheek as I sleep. “Amei-chan, wake up” Tch… Teppei. Why is he waking me up, early in the morning?

“Five more minutes Teppei” I murmur, turning my back at him as I felt a soft figure just beside when I drape my arm across the bed. Actually there were three small figures beside me, all of them snoring soundly. “The brats aren’t even awake”

“Why do you keep on calling them brats?” he sighed and went to pick me up from the bed bridal style and carried me to the bathroom. “C’mon, wash up already”

“Oi Teppei! Put me down! Bed-kun and I are still spooning with each other!” I complain, struggling to escape his arms.

“Huh? You’re cheating on me with bed-kun?! Amei-chan how could you?!” he went on with my joke, putting me down as he gave a disappointed look. “The hurts… my heart’s turning to ice!” he dramatically acted so I gave him a punch at the head.

“That’s a bit too overboard, who are you Yoite?” I raised an eyebrow at him. He gave a sheepish smile, scratching the back of his head and sighed.

“Give her a break Amei-chan. It’s her birthday today” he reminded me. I looked dumbfounded.

“It is?” I confirmed and his face palmed.

“You forgot your own mother’s birthday. Seriously, I don’t know who’s older. You or her” he doubted with a frown at me.

“S-Shut up! Anyways, let’s wake up these brats so they could see their old haggy granny” I said making him chuckle.

“Be tender on them” he reminded, leaning on the door frame as he watched me approach the bed where the ‘brats’ are sleeping. “Especially on Himawari; she kicks people in her sleep—”

Too late Teppei. My own child just kicked me at the face.

“Hey, are you okay?” he asked.

“Kiyoshi Himawari! If you don’t stand up from that bed I will confiscate all your gaming consoles and burn them to the last piece you hear me?!” I shouted pulling the covers from them as they shivered from the cold air around us.

“Oka-san… five more minutes” what the--!?

“She sounds just like you” Teppei laughed from behind as I glared at him.

“Stop laughing there and help me” I pouted pulling Himawari’s foot so she could get up. “Hima-chan, why don’t we go buy new otome games? Sounds fun?” I say in a cheerful town which caused her to get up and hugged me letting us stumble on the floor.

“Seriously?! You’re the best, oka-san!” she hugged me—more like suffocate me in her tiny arms. Damn, this girl has some muscle!

“Oi, Toshi-kun, Hinata-chan, wake up! We’re going to Oba-chan since it’s her birthday!” he said cheerfully and the twins sat up immediately. Next time, I’m letting Teppei wake up Himawari. “Amei-chan, stand up from there, let’s go” he lend me a hand as I stood up carrying Himawari.

The twins were clamp onto his shirt like little monkey as he carried them both on his broad shoulders. Himawari being roguish girl she is, jumped on her dad and her brother and sister, causing them to fall back on the bed. Oh this girl… she soon pulled me with them as we all lied on the bed.

“Teppei…” I whined feeling sleepy again, now that I’m with bed-kun.

“Everyone! Oka-san’s cheating on Oto-san with bed-kun!” he exclaimed childishly, obviously wanting to play with the three.

“Oka-san, that’s bad!!!!” Himawari shouted then proceeded in tickling in all possible areas. My sides, foot, neck. They were tickling me nonstop and I can’t help but cry in laughter.

“T-Teppei… make… make them stop!” I burst out in between laughter. Soon, he grabbed the twins, leaving Himawari the only tickling me so I sat up and pulled her into my arms and tickled her.

“Nobody tickles me without revenge!” I grinned watching her burst in laughter. In a few minutes a stopped because we’re running late and we really have to get there before 10 or else Kyo might hit me with her motherly fist even if she is pregnant.

Yeahhh, she and Taiga got married~ like in an otome game, the kanon ends up together~

Oh god, I still speak like that. You are an adult Ame! Leave those otome craps to your daughter! “Himawari!” I scolded her when I felt her tickle my side again. In return, I blew on her stomach which made her laugh every time and kissed her forehead.

“C’mon, we’re leaving—”

“Oka-san, I look exactly like you!” she smiled brightly, noticing the same features we have. I smiled back at her and crossed my arms proudly.

“Of course! Not only that, but you’re a genius like me!” I stated boldly.

“Oto-san, why do you have thick eyebrows like us?” asked Hinata then looked at her twin who looked exactly like Teppei.

“It’s genes Hinata!” Toshi pointed out as is he was an expert in genetics. Wait…

“Were they watching Discovery Channel again last night?” I asked Teppei who nodded his head. I should’ve known…

Fortunately, these kids are geniuses like me. Insert proud smile here. They’re fast learners just by watching stuff like that on TV. Himawari the oldest one is like a complete replica of me while the twins have Teppei’s looks.

“Thank god they’re not airheads like you” I sighed in relief making him pout.

“That hurts”

“Oto-san not an airhead!” Hinata defended and knocked on his head. “He’s smart”

“In being an airhead” I added.

“But you love him, so it doesn’t matter!” Himawari exclaimed and pulled mine and Teppei’s collar together causing for us to kiss and them making a run for it.

Kiyoshi Himawari!

I parted lips from Teppei sighing and grumbled. “That girl…”

“Let her be, she’s just a kid” he patted my head. “Moreover, you didn’t hate it anyway”

“Shut up” I blushed and got up from the bed. “Let’s go, everyone’s waiting for us” I let out a hand for him as she accepted it.

We went to prepare for today since it’s Yoite’s… I mean, oka-san’s birthday. Yeah, yeah, this is supposed to be the ‘epilogue’ part of an otome games but quite different.

Their story ends but not ours…

 It will continue to go on, even if the lazy author gets tired of telling it. (A/N: -.-)

Yeah, I guess it’s a happy end. Thank god, I didn’t get into the sad end.

But let me tell you that Teppei’s the great conquest I’d ever had. You know why? ‘Cause he conquest me too.

“Onee-chan almost crossed the crosswalk with the red light on” Hinata commented as she looked up at her sister. I hope she doesn’t get influenced.

“She almost got hit by a truck! :0” Toshi stared in awe as if he wanted his sister to get hit. -__-“

“She reminds me of your mother back in the days” Teppei remembered smiling as I flinched and blushed.

 “Shut up, Teppei. And keep your eyes on them, sheesh” I told him since he’s the one holding the two. I’m the one who’s on Himawari. Ugh, this is gonna be a long travel.
