Kurt Hummel was the only openly gay kid in McKinley high.

That awkward moment when you read just one sentence and you just know this guy's life must be hard.Luckily Kurt's life wasn't that hard.

Sure he had some bullies at school.

But he also had a wonderful best friend-who was unluckily in Dalton Academy-that also happened to be his crush.

He also had a wonderful caring family so yes,his life wasn't that bad.Plus that only meant that his life would eventually get better.

"He knows my coffee order"

"And?"Thomas,Kurt's older brother,questioned.The younger boy glared at him as if he had just insult Wicked."I mean,oh my God I can't believe it!That bastard!"

"Very funny,Tom"he laughed"and it's not like that,it's as Blaine and I flirt all the time.Yet we are just friends"

"I'll agree to that"Thomas replied"Remember when dad found Blaine in your bed?"

"Don't remind me of that!"Kurt shout"I almost got grounded and had to have the talk with dad"

"I offered to tell you myself but you didn't want to"

"That's still bad"

"Yeah but it would be better"the two brothers laughed and continued making their way to the cafeteria.Suddenly Kurt froze in his position with a look of terror.

"Hey,are you okay?"

"Nope"Kurt replied making eye signals towards the right table.Thomas turned around with a look of disgust on his face.

David Karofsky

Honestly Thomas just wanted to punch the smirk of that idiot's face.Then again he knew that if he did,he would probably end up in some hospital.

"Can we sit somewhere else?I hear the bathroom is great"Kurt whispered as Thomas shook his head.He understood his brother's fear,Karofsky was known for bullying poor Kurt.

He was just a homophobic asshole.

Suddenly Thomas turned around to find Kurt going through his phone with a goofy smile on his face.

"You know what?Nevermind,we're staying here"

"What's with the sudden change of heart?"

"It's like Blaine said,courage"he stated and sat to the next table"Now go get us something to eat,will you?"

"Aye Captain Hummel"Thomas laughed and made his way to the row.Once he had taken two trays he saw Karofsky making his way towards Kurt.

Shit,he thought as he started calmly walking towards them.Then at a moment of sanity-actually nevermind,insanity-he looked at a blonde boy passing in front of him.

"Hey,you new here?"he asked the blonde boy who began shaking as Thomas grabbed his arm.

"E-rrm,n-no"he stummered.

"Ah,I haven't seen you around"

"We do Maths tog--"the blonde was cut off by Thomas pressing his lips against his.The brunette boy's plan had worked perfectly as Karofsky walked up to them.

And normally-meaning according to his plan- Thomas would pull away,wrap an arm around the boy and act as if he's gay.Then after he would successfully piss off Karofsky he would apologize to the boy for attacking him...

With his lips.

However that plan was thrown off the window when he decided to kiss the stranger more.He really had no idea what had gotten into him.

"Um,Thomas"Thomas finally pulled away and turned to see Kurt laughing his arse off"David is gone,if you're interested"

"Oh yeah"Thomas mumbled"Sorry about that,I'm--"

"Thomas,I know"

"Right Kurt just said it"

"Actually no,we have Maths together"the boy argued"and Biology"

"Ah"

"Ah,Thomas is an idiot"Kurt added"As usual"

"Erm"Thomas began after he hit Kurt's arm wrinking his shirt.He would probably be yelled at for that later"I kinda don't remember your name"

"It's Newt"

"Yeah you too"Thomas smiled while the boy walked away.Kurt looked at Thomas with a raised eyebrow as the boy looked dumbfounded.

"Tom,are you okay?"

"I think something is very wrong here"

"Because you just kissed a boy you have in your classes and don't even remember it?"
