Kathy walked out of Spock's office glumly, wondering what was wrong with the Commander. She jumped as Spock rushed past her, his shoulders brushing against her roughly. Kathy shuddered, and furrowed her brows in confusion.

Wait a minute, does he likes me...?

Yeah right. Keep dreaming.

Hmmm... you're right...

Her split personality shut up after the unexpected surrender as Kathy continued to walk towards Uhura's room.

She quickly entered the code and walked in like a frickin' boss.

"How'd you know the code?!" Uhura asked, slightly alarmed. Kathy shot her best friend an amused smirk as she settled down on her bed, making herself comfortable.

"Vas Happenin' people" She said with a Bradford accent, making everyone look at her weirdly.

"Cavemen y'all are, I'ma tellin' ya" She drawled, making Bones roll his eyes. "Yeah, that would be true if not knowing ancient shit was a crime" Bones grumbled darkly, glaring at Kathy, who smiled at him innocently.

"See!" Jim exclaimed, walking over to Kathy. "Does this-" He said, grabbing Kathy's face and turning it towards Bones, "- look cunning?!"

Kathy batted her eyelashes in an attempt to look innocent, before letting out a sigh.

"I bet that was scary..." She mumbled. Jim patted her back sympathetically before going back to his place on the floor.

"So... how was your class?" Uhura asked as Bones studiously ignored Kathy, who shrugged nonchalantly.

"T'was 'kay" she drawled, furrowing her brows. Uhura's eyes widened. "Oh- uh, I know that expression to well. Tell me all about it."

"T'was nothin' Nee Nee..." Kathy trailed off, looking at anything other than her best friend. Nyota got the hint and changed the topic immediately.

"Hey, Stace and Chlo are coming tomorrow!"

Kathy's face split into a huge grin as she let out a squeal. Jim said 'cute' in a loud voice, looking at Bones the whole time, who was still stubbornly ignoring Kathy.

Kathy let out a small 'yes' as she got a look of childish excitement on her face, before turning to Bones. "Leo, I'm sorry..."

Bones hard expression melted away, and he let out a sigh. "Come here" he said, motioning for Kathy to go to him, and puling her onto his lap.

Kathy promptly curled up like a kitten and clutched Bones' shirt in her hands. A sudden flash went off as Bones and Kathy jumped, looking at Jim and Uhura, who were holding Kathy's camera.

"What?" Jim asked defensively. "It was a lovely brother- sister moment!" Uhura added, shooting Jim a look, telling him to keep his perverted thoughts to himself.

Kathy's eyes widened suddenly, as she looked at her best friends innocently. "I love you guys soooooooooo much!" She dragged out the 'so' as she made this weird hand gesture.

Bones snorted and Jim raised a brow, while Nyota rolled her eyes. "What do you want?"

Kathy smiled sheepishly as she bit her lip. "I might or might not have made a mess of my dorm and forgotten to clean it..."

The boys groaned and Bones gently pushed Kathy off his lap, before copying Jim's action and diving into his bed.

"We're sleepy, sorry!" Jim said cheekily from under the covers. "Yeah, me to" Bones added unconvincingly. Kathy huffed but didn't say anything as Nyota chuckled at her. "Come, I'll help you."

Kathy woke up early the next day, stretching and sighing in content when her bones went 'pop'. She glanced at Nyota, who had crashed at her dorm itself. They had slept at around 2 am, and were quite tired. Kathy let out a discontent sigh upon realizing that it was the last day of the break.

She poked Uhura, who let out a groan and got up. "We need be ready by 05:45." Kathy croaked.

"Wha?" Uhura mumbled stupidly (and sleepily) as she rubbed her eyes. Kathy rolled her eyes. "Stacy and Chloe will be here at 6 o'clock."

"Ah, right." Nyota mumbled and stumbled out of bed, opening a small drawer that contained her brush, etc. Every one of them had such a bag (containing the brush, etc of their friends) in their rooms, just in case of an emergency.

This was extremely helpful for Bones and Nyota, as both their roommates would... well, we all know what they do at night...

They were ready in half an hour, and made their way to the boys' dorm. Bones and Jim were, surprisingly awake.

"Let's grab some food before we leave" Kathy said, receiving a grunt from Jim.

"I need some coffee" Bones said darkly, glaring at some random guy who was, for some reason, awake at such an ungodly hour. According to Kathy, at least.

Jim, Bones and Nyota took some coffee and biscuits and were done in less than two minutes. Kathy on the other hand, had taken some coffee, a bar of Snickers (A/N- It's a type of chocolate, as everyone knows. Why'd I put an A/N then? You know what, ignore this, I'm rambling.), a chocolate croissant, and for some reason, a small cone of chocolate ice cream.

"Guys, wait" She panted out as she struggled to keep up with her friends, attempting to balance all the food. Bones let out a snort.

"Serves you right. Who told you to take all- is that an ice cream cone?!" Bones gave Kathy a disbelieving look, while Jim offered to hold her stuff.

"Thanks but no thanks" She panted out. "I know you'll gobble it up."

"Ah, Kitty, you know me to well" Jim said with an amused smirk. Nyota choked on air as she began to reprimand Jim for something.

Kathy didn't know, and didn't care as she dug into her food. The ice cream was long gone, and she was now slurping on the hot chocolate. Thy reached the beaming area, and stood in silence, not noticing Spock, Amanda, and Sarek at the other side.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Bones hissed, slightly alarmed as he watched Kathy dip her croissant into her hot chocolate. "That's disgusting!"

The said girl merely shrugged. "How will you know it's taste when you haven't tried it?" She bit into the soggy croissant, letting out a content moan of delight. "Oh ma ga', thi' i' 'o goo'" She said, the croissant still in her mouth. Bones looked horrified, and Kathy continued to eat, the melting chocolate coming on the sides of her mouth.

Nyota was laughing so hard that she had to lean against the wall, and Jim was red faced in an attempt to not laugh. Both he and Uhura had scene the Vulcan family on the other end of the area, and thought it was amusing to see their friend making a fool of herself.

"Er... don't Vulcans get drunk on chocolate..." Nyota said, eyeing Kathy. Jim let out a snort before slapping his hand against his mouth to stop himself from laughing.

Bones, being the good doctor he is, realized this after Kathy finished her 'snack'.

"I've had chocolate all my life. I don't think I'll be drunk drunk!" Kathy said with a shrug.

The familiar sound of re-assembling atoms could be heard as three of the beaming pads began to glow with swirling yellow- white light.

"They're here they're here they're here THEY'RE HERE!!!" Kathy mumbled in excitement, before shrieking it out suddenly, making her friends and Spock's mother jump. Sarek and Spock raised an eyebrow (typical) but didn't say anything.

"HOLA AMIGOS!!!" Kathy yelled out, jumping on a startled Chloe and Stacy, who's boyfriend looked creeped out as he all but ran away. "When did she learn French" Jim whispered, wide eyed, receiving a prompt slap on the head from Uhura and a scoff from Bones.

"What?" He whined as Uhura shot him an exasperated look.

"It's Spanish you dimwit."

Stacy and Chloe began to chuckle after a moment, and pushed of their friend gently, before getting up and hugging her back. For about five minutes, the entire area was filled with noise and excited chatter, as the six friends talked and laughed, delighted to be reunited.

"Woah, why're you so hyper today?" Stacy said with a grin, before freezing, along with Chloe.

"Did you give her chocolate?" Chloe whispered. "Yes I had chocolate! And that to after a looooong looooong time!" Kathy yelled out, stretching out the 'ooooo' in 'long', still grinning stupidly.

"Oh boy..." Stacy muttered as Chloe rubbed her forehead, a migraine already starting.

Kathy was lost in her own world, playing with the snow in her drunken haze as Stacy and Chloe explained how they managed to keep her away from chocolate for an year, fearing that she would go all hyper. They had learned this the hard way.

"D'ya wanna build ah Snowman!!" Kathy sang while building a tiny snow man. Jim shuddered, remembering that time (we all know what I'm talking about), and Bones gulped slightly. Uhura grumbled to herself, muttering about how she knew that this was a bad idea.

Chloe let out a sigh, oblivious to the Vulcan family's stares.

"This is going to be a long long day..."
