Next day morning....

Karan sits on bed but still is in pain....
K: bohot dukh raha hai Preeta....
P: dukhega hi na... Kitna khoon nikal raha hai.... Kaha dekh kar chal rahe the....
K:(unknowingly) tumhe...
Preeta blushes but then comes back to senses....
P: pagal ho kya.... Ruko mein dawai lagati hu....
Preeta runs and brings first aid....
Preeta starts applying medicine.... Karan shrieks.... Preeta starts blowing.... Karan is just seeing Preeta..

Preeta sees him and both have an eyelock..... But then they hear knock on door....  Preeta goes and opens...
Rakhi: puttar kaisi hai ab tu...
P: ab bilkul thik hu maa....
Rakhi: chalo accha hai... Karan tu preeta ko leke dr ke paas jaa raha hai na....
K: haa mom...
Rakhi: arre tuzhe chot kaise lagi....
K: kuch nahi mom voh mein phisal gaya....
Rakhi: dhyaan rakha kar na beta.... Accha tum dono jaldi aao... Nashta tayar hai...

Rakhi goes..... Preeta goes to freshen up...
Later both come down to have breakfast.....
Kareena: preeta ab tabyet kaisi hai....
P: thik hai bua...

M:(in mind) ye preeta jab se pregnant hui hai koi muzhe notice kyu nahi kar raha.... Aise koi muzhe ignore nahi kar sakta.... Ye nahi ho sakta....
K: preeta jaldi chalo... Appointment hai humari ....

M: karan tum muzhse aise nahi baat kar sakte... meri tumse shaadi hone wali thi.... Tumhari biwi hone ka haq mera hai.....
K: Mahira... Shaadi hone wali thi... Hui nahi... Aur usse bhi pehle preeta meri biwi thi already.... So I don't want to hear all this nonsense again....
M: karan...(with tears)
K: bass Mahira.... (To Preeta) chalo preeta...

Bani: puttar lekin jaa kaha raha hai isse leke.... Usko itna ghumne firna accha nahi hai iss halath mein....

Karan helps Preeta and leaves to hospital...

In hospital.....
Dr: aayiye.... Mrs. Luthra aapka checkup kar leti hu....

After checkup...
Dr: Mr. Luthra... Inki sonography karenge hum... Aapko dekhna ho to dekh sakte ho....
K: ofcourse... Jaroor dekhunga mein...
Dr: ji chaliye....

Doctor is doing the sonography.... And it is visible on the screen... Preeta is looking at the screen continuously.... Karan is looking at Preeta....
Dr: mr.luthra... monitor pe dekhiye... Ye faintly jo dikh raha hai voh aapka baby hai....
Karan is very happy seeing this.... He is having little tears of happiness.....
P: doctor sab normal hai na....
Karan looks at the dr..
Dr: ofcourse... Sab thik hai... Baby bilkul healthy lag raha hai abhi toh....
P: abhi toh matlab....
Dr: matlab ye... Abhi aapka 2nd month chal raha hai... Isiliye abhi aapko bohot carefully rehna hoga.... Pehle 3 mahine bohot dhyaan rakhna padta hai....
K: lekin dr kuch complications toh nahi hai na...
Dr: compilations toh nahi lag rahe... Lekin inhe kuch hafte complete bed rest ki salah dungi mein.... Aur inhe koi jerk nahi aana chahiye...
K: ok dr... I'll take care of it...

Both leave..... In car ....
K: Preeta tumne suna na... Ab tum bed se bilkul bhi nahi hilogi.... Mein bhi chutti lunga.... Taki tumpe nazar rakh sakhu....
P: muzhpe kyu nazar rakhni hai... Mein apna dhyaan khudh rakh sakti hu...
K: haa voh toh dikh hi raha hai... Kal kitni weak thi....
P: karan ab irritate matt karo....
K: mein kaha irritate kar raha hu....
P: toh fir I'm sorry.... Mein hi hu na tumhari pareshaani....
K: arre meine aisa kab bola.... Meine sirf itna bola ki mein tumhare saath hu rahunga ab se....
P: ha ha thike thike.....
Preeta is looking outside the window.... Karan sees her....
K:(in mind) preeta bilkul innocent hai... Aur yahi baat muzhe uske baare mein acchi lagti hai.... Pata nahi aajkal usko dekh ke kya ho jaata hai.... Control hi nahi hota.... Achanak se kiss kar deta hu.... Usko kaisa lag raha ho ga.... Lekin aisa kyu ho raha hai..... Kahi mein preeta se pyaar.....(he realises)... Yess... Muzhe meri babydoll se pyaar hua hai.... I love you babydoll..... Usko batana hoga.... Aaj hi usse bata dunga.....
He is smiling widely.....

They reach home....
Rakhi: puttar sab thik hai na... Doctor ne kya kaha....
K: baby bilkul healthy hai... Lekin Preeta ko kuch hafto ke liye bed rest bola hai....
Bani: preeta ab tu hilegi bhi nahi bed se samjhi.... Tuzhe tera khaana hum kamre mein hi pohochayenge....
P: arre dadi iski kya jaroorat.... Mein neeche aa sakti hu...
Kareena: mom bilkul thik keh rahi hai.... Tum kamre mein hi rahogi....
P: lekin bua....
K: lekin vekin kuch nahi .... Chalo kamre mein... Dr ne jo kaha voh maanna hai tumhe samjhi.... Chalo ab...
Preeta makes sad face and goes with Karan to her room.....

At night.....
Karan is very excited as he is going to propose Preeta.... Since preeta was sleeping he makes all arrangement in the balcony.... He arranges dinner on the table and lights candle....

He goes back to see Preeta.... She has already woken up.... She sees him coming from balcony....
P: tum balcony mein kya kar rahe the....
K: surprise hai...
P:(excited) kya... Dekhu toh....
K: ayyee ruko.... Abhi nahi.... Pehle ye loh gift... He saree pehenke aao pls....

P: ok...
Preeta is changing in washroom... Meanwhile karan changes in the room....

Preeta comes out... Karan is mesmerized.... He takes preeta's hand and takes her to the balcony....
