Going towards dining table I sat on my chair and waited for my husband to come but before he could sit beside me Cabir bhai came and sat beside me.I giggled and he laughed too. "Mil k tang karenge tumhare mian ji ko."He whispered in my ear and at the very moment Manik arrived. 

"Cabir!This is my place."He sneered at Cabir bhai and Cabir bhai straightened himself.

"Rules aur rules my friend.Aap shadi tak Nandani se dur rahenge."Cabir bhai declared dishing out some food in his plate and my hubby pursed his lips.

"For your kind information Mr.Cabir Dhawan I'm already married.Meri biwi hai Nandani."My hubby too declared and everyone at the table controlled their laughs seeing his pissed off face.

"Yaar Manik chal na kia bacho ki tarah lar raha hai tu kursi k liye."Rahul pulled his hand and made him sit on the chair infront of me.He looked at me and I licked my lips controlling my laugh.

Mat has Nandani agar tu inke hatthe charh gayi na tou ye phir chorenge nhi tughe.  

"Shall I serve?"I asked my hubby glancing at food and then at time him.

"No!Thankyou!"He faked a smile at me.

Oho!Monster tou bare gusse main hai.Ab bach k rehna parega!

"Where is Manahil?"I asked suddenly feeling her absence.

"Wo Sunaina use bahir garden main le k gayi hai aur sath main uska lunch bhi."Harsh bhaiya replied while rolling some noodles in his fork.

"Lekin use laga hua hai what if she fell down again?"Her father stood up immediately.

"Arey nothing would happen Sunaina will take care of her.Wese bhi I'm done with lunch I'll go and check them."Harsh bhaiya assured us and went out while Manik sat down.

I dished out some Spicy Noodles in my plate.My mouth was watering so bad but as I took a bite of it I felt nauseous.

"What happened?"My husband asked noticing uneasiness on my face and I scrunched my nose.

"Ye nhi khana mughe wo rice de dein."Pushing the plate aside I took another plate and he stood up and dished out some rice in my plate.

"Thankyou!"I smiled at him and he blinked his eyes giving me a small smile.

We had lunch peacefully and then I took Manahil with me in the room.I was feeling so tired.

"Mama i don't want to sleep."Manahil nagged as I made her sit on the toilet seat.

"When did I say that you are sleeping Minno.Mama rest kar rahi hain aap sirf mama k paas lait jao."I coaxed her while making her wash her hands.

"Baba jani tahan hain?"She asked as I laid on bed and took her in my arms.We were sleeping in the room downstairs,beside bhaiya's room.
Not because of that 'bride and groom cannot meet' restriction but actually I was very tired of climbing stairs so I chose to rest downstairs only.

Phir raat k liye ready bhi hona haina!

"Baba has gone out for some work.Aajayenge thori der main."I pulled her closer snd she snuggled into me more after muttering an "Ok!"

Soon sleep overpowered us and we slept.

Nandani seems so tired.She is not well.
Tu bhi dhyaan rakh khote jab dekh shuru hojata hai uske sath.Choti hai yaar.

I tried knocking my brain while keeping the ice-cream tubs in car.

Ek meri begum k liye aur ek meri beti k liye.

All the way to farmhouse I tried making my mind understand to take a control on myself.My wife's health should be my first priority.

Karoon kiya main haseen itni hai k bas nhi chlta saans bhi uski panah main ln.

After parking the car I went inside only to find everyone busy with the preparations for the haldi function.My eyes searched two people but they were nowhere to be seen.

"Shahid!Bhabhi kahan hai teri?"I nudged Shahid who was busy with the worker who was decorating stairs with white roses.

"I don't know bhai.Lunch k baad se maine nhi dekha unhe."He answered plainly and I nodded at him.

"Aur Manahil?"I asked again.

"Manahil ko bhi nhi dekha bhai.Mughe laga wo donu aap k sath hain."He showed worry too and I shook my head at him.

"Don't worry they must be here only."Smiling at him I moved towards Harsh who was busy with the catering workers.

"You guys have to serve an amazing dinner.Mehmano ko kisi kisam ki shikayat nhi honi chahiye."Harsh was speaking to the manager when I called him,"Harsh!"

"Haan Manik bol!"He replied looking at me.

"Where are Nandani and Manahil?"I was worried now.

"They are here,slumbering."He pointed towards the room and I nodded at him before going towards the kitchen to scoop out ice-creams for my wife and baby.

"Hey Sunaina!Which flavour will you have?Mint chocolate or double chocolate?"I asked Sunaina who just came into the kitchen to fetch some water.

"Awww so sweet of you Manik.Double chocolate would work for me."She spoke happily and i took another bowl to scoop out some ice cream for her.

"Thankyou!"She smiled as I gave her the bowl and placed the tubs in refrigerator.

"Don't let Nandani know about these tubs or else sari kha jayegi."I chuckled while picking up the two bowls which I filled for my girls and Sunaina giggled.
"Tu bhi na Manik."
Leaving the kitchen I moved towards the room where they were sleeping when suddenly Cabir came infront.

"Kahan?"He raised his brows glancing at ice cream bowls and I rolled my eyes.

"Agar tu zinda ye shadi attend karna chahta haina tou ye phuppo wale kaam band kar de."I gave him a tight smile and he gulped moving aside.

"I was just asking yaar."He smiled not so innocently and ran away before I could scare him more with eyes.

Saale ne subah se dimag khrab kiya hua hai.Meri biwi k paas jane se hi mughe rok raha hai.

Let's surprise my beauties.

Sighing I entered into the room only to find both of them fast asleep. A smile came on my face automatically.

"Wake up sleeping beauties."Keeping the tray on side table I sat on the bed.

"Minno baba aagaye.Dekho baba apni guriya k liye kiya laye hain."I picked up Manahil and settled her in my laps. I checked her knee and it looked fine.

She rubbed her eyes cutely before opening them and her lips widened into a smile as she found me."Baba jani!"She squealed while hugging me tight and I kissed her cheek in return.My eyes fell on her mother who was squinting her eyes.

"Nandani meri jaan wake up."I caressed her hair and she opened her eyes slowly,smiling at me.

"Aap kab aye?"She yawned sitting up on the bed and i chuckled,"Jab tum donu sab kuch bech kar so rahi thi."
She smiled and stretched her arms up.

"Baba!Aap tia laye ho hamare liye?"Minno asked curiously and I picked up the tray from the bedside table.

"Iscleem!"She exclaimed while licking her lip and i chuckled at her cuteness."Your favourite double chocolate."I gave her one bowl and she accepted happily.

"Tussi bale sweet ho baba jani."Manahil kissed my both cheeks tightly and I chuckled listening her compliment."No Minno is the sweetest."I kissed her cheeks.

"Aur ye apke liye."Picking up the other bowl I forwarded it to my wife who was adoring us with a smile.

"Thankyou!"She muttered softly and I blinked my lashes at her, "My pleasure darling."

My both girls started eating and I sat there adoring them quietly.

"I want more."Nandani was the first to complete.

"No!Phir tumhari tabiat khrab hojayegi."I spoke gently and she made a bad face while thumping the empty bowl in my hand. "Kharoos!"She murmured but i heard it.

Kharoos hi sahi lekin I can't take chances with your health.

"Mughe bhi aul chahiye baba."Manhail too whined and i sighed picking her up in my arms,standing up from the bed.

"Did you see the decorations?"I diverted her mind while going out of the room and she denied cutely."No!Tisi ne mughe dithaya hi nhi."

"Ruko baba aap ko sab dikhate hain."I turned to glance at my wife who had a mischievous smile on her face.

"Kia chal raha hai iss khurafati dimag main?"Turning I raised my brows at her and Minno laughed sheepishly in my arms.

"Hahaha!Thulafati."She giggled more loudly making me giggle too.

"Nothing!Aap donu ja rahe the na tou phir jayein."She looked irritated and I scrutinised my eyes at her trying to read her mind.

Planning something right?

I questioned her through my eyes and she looked here and there before going into the washroom making Manahil and me laugh."Mama bhaag gayi!"
And I took her out of the room.

After getting ready into a yellow choli ghagra I came out of the room.It was the time when guests were about to arrive.The house was decorated beautifully with white and yellow flowers.Fear to face everyone engulfed in my heart and I turned back towards the room.

"Mama!Chalein na!"Manahil who was looking like a princess in white frock tried pulling her palm from my grip.

"Minno aap jao Mama is coming."I left her palm and she happily ran towards Cabir bhai,Rahul and Shahid standing in a corner.

Ye kahan hain?

Shaking my head I entered into the room and suddenly door behind me got locked.I flinched but before I could turn two arms were there to be wrapped around my stomach.

"You look mesmerising!"He whispered in my ear and I bit my lip feeling a rush in my emotions.

"Koi aa jayega!"I tried removing his arms.Shyness was casted all over my face.

"Room is locked!Koi nhi ayega."He whispered nuzzling into my neck and I closed my eyes feeling his alluring touch over my skin.

"Agar main bahir na aaon tou chalega."I uttered meekly and he stopped nuzzling at my shoulder.

He turned me and cupped my cheeks.Our orbs connected perfectly.
"Do you trust me?"

"Khud se bhi zyada."

"Then i won't let anyone harm you.Aur kab tak yun chupti rahogi.One day you've to face this world.Haina?"He tried to assure me with his eyes and I licked my lower lip nervously before saying yes.

"Ye hui na baat.My brave girl!"He smiled and planted a peck at my forehead.

There was a knock on door which interrupted us.

"I swear Nandani agar Cabir hua na tou main use chorunga nhi."Manik spoke angrily and I laughed seeing his irritation. "Suniye koi baat nhi."

"Cabir..."Manik growled while unlatching the door and I went towards him hurriedly.

"What?" It was bhaiya.He raised his brows at Manik seeing his irked face while I refrain myself from laughing.

"Nothing!Anything important?"My hubby asked politely.

"Guests have arrived.Come soon."Bhaiya answered in the same tone and left.

My husband closed the door and pulled my palm suddenly making me stumble over him.

"Kia hua?"I mewed as he looked so serious.

"I want you in my arms tonight.Main ye shadi tak dur nhi rehne wala tumse."He looked so adamant about his words and I nodded at him plainly.

"Chalein!Sab hamara intezaar kar rahe honge."I tried breaking his attention from my lips and he closed his eyes,shook his head and sighed before muttering,"Yes!" And we came out of the room. 

I held his palm tight looking at the people and he pressed my palm,assuring me earnestly.

"Mama!"Manahil came running to us and I smiled,caressing her cheek.

"Everything looks so beautiful.Mughe bohot maza aa laha hai."She gushed while jumping around us and we felt contented at her happiness.

Gradually I felt stronger with my man beside me .I and Sunaina sat together along with our spouses and the ritual of haldi started.The event passed incredibly with lots of fun.

"Why aren't you eating something Nandani?Kuch tou kha lo."Sunaina spoke while eating aloo kachori and i made a face.

"Nhi!Pta nhi it doesn't feel like eating anything."I was searching for my man who was no where to be seen.He had gone with Manahil to meet his business colleagues after giving me a plate full of food.

"Eat something or else Manik will get angry you know him."Sunaina indicated me towards my plate full of food and suddenly I felt the urge to throw up.

"I'll come in five minutes."Palming my mouth I ran towards my room.
