Karan was in his room buzy with his work when Khushi dashed in without knocking the door.

Abe oo bandar kya itni raat ko kaam kar raha hai??. Hume neend nai aa rahi(You monkey why are you working so late at night?? Im not sleepy) Khushi said sitting in his bed.

Toh mein kya karu Mishty?? (What do you want me to do??) Karan said still working on his laptop.

Mujhe kya pata. Tujhe pata. Par tujhe kuch toh karna hi hoga.(How would I know?? You should know. But you have to do something) Khushi said pouting.

Mishty yrr sach mein mujhe bohot kaam hai. Tu jaake sone ki try kar neend aa jayegi.(Mishty I really have a lot of work to do. Go to bed and try to sleep) Karan said not looking at her.

Theek hai hum jaa rahe hai. Aur haa baat mar karne tum humse.(Ok fine im going dont talk to me) Khushi left angrily.

Mishty sun Karan sighed.

Pata nai kya ho gayya hai isse..(Dont know what happened to her) Karan said standing up.

Lo tum yaha ho poore ghar mein dhoond raha tha tujhe aur tu yaha chudail ki tarah khadi hai.(I was searching for you all around the house and you are standing here like a ghost.)

Khushi though heard him did not reply coz she was angry at him.

Achha baba sorry na. Maaf kar de. Ab bata kya pareshaan kar raha hai meri Mishty ko??(Ok Sorry. Now tell me what is bothering my Mishty)

Khushi sighed and hugged him.

Pata nai Karan. Hume darr lag raha hai. Aisa lag raha hai jaise kuch bura hone wala hai. Bechaini si ho rahi hai.(I dont know Karan. But I am scared. I feel as if something bad is gonna happen)

Mishty its common yrr. Teri shaadi ho rahi hai toh its pretty obvious ki aisa feel ho. Par tu chinta mat kar everything will be fine mein hoon na.(Mishty its common. Coming out of the hug she hit him and said

Ab kyun aaya ja na bohot kaam hai na tujhe..(Why did you come now?? You have a lot of work right then go) Khushi said flaring her nose.

Haa kaam toh hai par wohh kya hai na jab tak chudailji jaag rahi hai hum kuch nai kar sakte. Bohot darawni hai pata hai. Bina knock kiye kamre mein kabhi bhi ghuss aati hai, gussa ho jati hai poore ghar mein ghoomti rehti hai etc etc.. Toh uske jaane ka hi intezaar kar raha tha(Yes I do have work but until this ghost is awake i cannot do anything. She is very scary. Barges into rooms without knocking, gets angry easily, Roams around the whole house etc etc.. So I was waiting for her to leave) Karan said teasing and suppressing his laughter

Khushis mouth was an o shape by now with her eyes wide..

Kya kaha tune mujhe?? Chudail?? Ruk tu chudail ke bacche abhi dikhati hu tujhe..(What did you call me?? A ghost. Wait ill show you you son of a ghost) Saying this she chased him as he ran.

Next day morning..

They all were getting ready to go to the temple as they had to do this pooja to get blessing from Devimaiyaa for the couple..

Everyone including Khushis family reached the temple. Khushi knew Arnav would not come so a little disheartened she continued with the pooja. But just then Anjali called..

Hello Hi Bye Bye Anjali bitiya.. You knozwa Arnav bitwa not comings then bhy taking names of hims?? Maami said

They came Arnav removing his shoes climbing the stairs in his 3 piece black suit looking hot and handsome removing his goggles

Everyone just stared at him as if they have seen a ghost and Arnav was only looking at his lady love Khushi who was blinking her eyes as if to register what exactly was going on. She still thought it was all a dream..

Arnav smirked looking at her face and went near her and shook her a little.

Khushi?? He asked huskily and thats when she came out of her shock..

Before she could say anything panditji interrupted saying..

Mohurat nikla jaa raha hai pooja shuru kare???(Lets start the prayers before the auspicious time runs out)

Ji Panditji Naniji said smiling.

Khushi turned her face towards her Devimaiyaa closed her eyes and smiled brightly and the glow on her face was back.

Arnav too smiled looking at her smiling face..

Dekha Devimaiyaa aaj humne wohh kar dikhaya jo aaj tak koi nai kar paaya. Laad Governor ko laa hi diya humne aapke paas. Par aap zyada khush mat hoiye yeh sab unhone hamare liye kiya hai..(See Devimaiyaa I did what others could not. I managed to get Lord Governor to you. But dont be soo happy he has done all this for me) Khushi opened her eyes and winked at her Devimaiyaa. She then glanced at Arnav who was smiling with his eyes closed.

Yeh lo bitiya Panditji said.

Khushi forwarded her right hand and her left was under her right had and Panditji gave her the water.

He went towards Arnav who was just looking at Khushi who showed him what is supposed to be done.

Ab bado ka Ashirwad le lijiye..(Take the blessings of your elders)

Arshi looked at each other and smiled and took the blessings of all the elders.

They all came down and Arnav said..

Aap sab jaiye mein Khushi ko thodi der mein lekar aata hu.(All of you leave I am taking Khushi with me)

Haa Chotte aaj wese bhi aakhri din hai phir kal se shaadi tak no milna jhulna.(Yes Chotte take her because this is the last day then after tomorrow you cannot meet her) Anjali said excitedly.

What the!! What do you mean by that dii??

Haa chotte. Aisan hi hovat hai. Haldi ki rasam ke baad Dulha dulhan ek doosre ko naahi mil sakat hai.(Yes Chotte. It is like that. After Haldi the bride and groom cannot meet each other) Nani said smiling..

Whatever im taking her with me right now.. Saying that Arnav dragged Khushi with him..

Wohh naniji aap sab bhi jaiyee hume aur Karan ko thoda sa kaam hai. Wohh ajj raat sangeet hai na toh taiyaari karni hai.(Umm Naniji you all to go I and Karan have some work. Today night we have the sangeet ceremony so we have some last minute preparations to do) Anjali said surprising Karan.

Theek hai bitiya aapna dhyaan rakhna aur zyada bhaga daudi mat karna..(Ok dear. Take care and dont run around much) Naniji said.

The driver would drop the Guptas first and then they would all head home..

Anjali tumne jhooth kyun bola ki hame kaam hai?? Shaam ke rasam ki toh sab taiyariya ho gayyi hai na.(Why did you lie Anjali?? All the preparations fir the night are done right??)

Haa par wohh hum wohh aapke saath thoda waqt bitana chahte the isiliye..(Yes but I wanted to spend some time with you) Anjali confessed blushing..

Karan just smiled and asked.

Toh bataiye Anjaliji aap kaha jaana chahti hai??(So tell me Anjali where do you want to go??)

Hamari icecream pending hai. Kisi sadu ne pichli baar mana kar diya tha. Toh now its your responsibility ki tum mujhe ice cream khilao..(My ice cream is pending yet. Last time someone did not let me eat. So now its your responsibility to take me there)

Achaa baba theek hai chalo tumhe ice cream khilate hai.(Ok fine lets go)
