"Whoa, whoa, whoa holy 🌷man, you mean that Mike is alive?!" Will asked. His voice was startled, and hopeful.
"The body is fake yes, I don't know anything else, if he is alive then I have no clue where he is." Hopper said.
"Could you help us find him?" I asked.
"So you guys still need my help?" Hopper said.
He brought out a cigarette and lit it.
Lucas nodded.
"As minors if we do anything like investigate it looks suspicious. Your the sheriff. There must be something you can do." Lucas said.
Hopper exhaled.
"Fine I'll do what I can, but I can't promise anything boys." Hopper reluctantly said.
We beamed.
"Thank you sir." Will said smiling.
"No promises." Hopper said firmly.

Eleven
It had been two whole weeks since Mike had came. At least I think it has been. When you've never been outside or anything it's hard to keep track of time. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.
"El?" Mike asked.
I smiled. I loved the nick name he'd given me.
"Yes, Mike?" I asked.
"Do you think that Brenner is going to keep us here forever?" He asked.
I turned so I could see his bed.
He was leaned on one arm, his dark eyes trained on me. Making my face feel warm. When I was with Mike I felt different but I couldn't place how. I just wanted to be with him.
"I...I don't know how long." I said.
"El, I've told you a lot about the world outside this...lab. Would you tell me about your life in here?" He asked.
I sat up.
"It really is not interesting." I said.
"I don't mind, I just like listening to you, your voice is soothing, plus I want to hear all about your life." He said.
I blinked. No one had ever asked me about my life. Of course the only people I saw were doctors. They never asked more questions then they had to.
'Move the table Eleven' 'I need to do a brain test Eleven' ' Eleven if you harm this animal you can go for a week without any 'tests''.
Like she was stupid enough to believe them.
"Well, when I was younger there were others who lived here, others like us."
I didn't take my eyes off him.
"I don't remember a lot of them, but I remember one."
"Who was 001?" Mike asked. He sat up too.
I giggled.
"Not 001, I remember 008." I said remembering how she comforted me during my first of crying.
"She, like you Uniates that she be called be her real name, Kali. She told me she would figure out how to get us out of here." I continued.
"But when she escaped she didn't come for me." I swallowed. I felt tears pricking behind my eyes.
Mike saw this and came over to my bed.
He did something surprising.
Mike wrapped his arms around me in a warm embrace.
I was t used to friendly affection. But it felt nice.
"El...I'm so sorry."
"It's ok, I have a new friend and he's the most amazing boy I know." I mumbled into his shoulder.
"El... I'm the only boy you know." He said smiling.
"Which is why your also the least amazing boy I know too."
"Ok now your being mean." Mike teased.
I laughed.
It felt nice to have a friend again
