It was early in the morning. Manik was in deep sleep hugging Nandini to his chest when he felt Nandini moving. He frowned and kissed her forehead. After a second he felt his mobile vibrating, he opened his eyes slightly only to find Nandini doing something on his mobile. She was wide open and it seems she was trying to shut the alarm. He frowned as he clearly remembers he never set an early morning alarm. He closed his eyes and tightens his hold on her knowing she's up to something. As expected, he felt her wriggling in his arms to come out of his hold. He left her and waited to see what she's going to do. As Nandini felt him leaving her she smiled and gave a big fat kiss on his cheek ran out of the room.

As she left, Manik sat up and called Cabir.

"Cabir! Nanhi bahar gyi hai! Dekh na ek baar kha gyi hai!"

Cabir who was in deep sleep said, "Navya bhi ni hai.! Ussi k saath gyi hogi!"

Manik muttered abuses as Cabir disconnected the call.

He called Navya who told him that Nandini is in the kitchen.

First, he thought to check on her but then Navya assured him that she's not alone and all the butlers and maids are there to look after her.

He went to the washroom to take shower as all will leave in half an hour for Nia's baby shower.

As he came out Nyonika called him and told that everyone has already left as Harshad needed help in the arrangement.

Manik chuckled as he heard the whines of sleepy Cabir who was surely dragged by Navya.

On asking about Nandini, she informed that she's still in the kitchen as she was trying to do something and was not ready to come without him. He frowned as it's more than an hour that she's in the kitchen. He was about to go down as he was all ready to leave for Harshad's house when a butler came.

"Baba! Wo Nandini bitiya....", these words were enough for him to worry and he hastily ran downstairs.

He went inside and the scene was enough for him to fall for his baby love again.

There she was, sleeping on the floor leaning to the fridge with her hands full of chocolates. Some chocolates were on the face, some on her cute Mickey Mouse top and the packet on her hand.

It seems she slept while eating it. He looked around and his eyes widen as he found three wrappers of big DairyMilk Silk beside her and two big tubs of ice-cream.

"Baba! Wo bitiya kahtey kahtey so gyi! Humney socha ki apko bata dey! Badey din baad bitiya chocolates aur ice-cream kha rhi thi toh humney khud ussey jayda kahney dey diya!", the old butler said as he also knows the change in Nandini and considers her as his daughter.

"Sahi kiya kaka apney! Vaisey! Nandini subah sey kitchen mey kya kar rhi thi?", he asked as he kneeled down in front of her and caressed her chocolate smudged cheeks.

"Wo toh bitiya ney mana kiya hai bata'ney sey! Jab aap sham mey aaogey tab wo khud hi bata degi!", the butler said and went away as Manik nodded smiling.

Manik slowly tried to wipe her face but she frowned and sneezed in her sleep so he didn't wipe further and carried her in his arms encircling her arms around his neck.

She opened her sleepy heavy eyes slightly to which Manik whispered, "Monstu hai Jaan! So jao!"

She sighed blissfully and wrapped her legs around his waist. He kissed her hairs and carried her to the car as they had to leave for Harshad's house.

The driver drove to Harshad's house as Manik sat in the car taking her in the lap.

He kissed her hairs as she snuggles into him. He was in his casual outfit which has now had chocolate as her face had it. He smiled and hugs her tightly.

"Suddenly Nanhi is eating chocolates! Aisa kya hua hai? In these two years, she never had it on her own. I had to force her but today! I've to ask her.!", he thought as he looked her sleeping soundly.

As they reached Harshad's house, he carried her in his arms and she wrapped her legs around his waist hiding her face in his neck.

Harshad who was desperately waiting for his sister opened the door.

"Baby girl so rhi hai ab tak?", he asked silently to which Manik nodded.

"Let's take her to her room!", he said as he had a special room for Nandini in his house which he decorated by his own hands.

Manik carried her to her room and Harshad followed them.

As he laid her down to bed Harshad pushed Manik aside making him roll his eyes and sat beside Nandini.

"Baby girl k face par yeh chocolates?", he asked frowning and tried to wipe it from her face but stopped as she sneezed.

"She is sneezing? Zukham toh nhi hai?", Harshad asked worriedly as whenever he tried to wipe her face she sneezed in deep sleep.

Manik sat on the other side and shooed his hand, "Agar uskey nose ko touch karega toh she'll sneeze only! Rah'ney de jab uttegi toh I'll wipe it!"

"Kab utegi?", Harshad asked impatiently.

"Harshad! Bacho ki tarah kyu kar rha hai? Wo din bhar aaj yahi rhegi! Mil lena us'sey!", Manik replied and covered Nandini properly with the duvet.

"Manik! You know wo yaha aati nhi hai! Jab sey us'sey mery paralyzed haath k baarey mey pata chala hai tab sey wo mujhsey dur rhti hai because she blames herself for this! Main kuch bhi karu she still ignores me! Mujhsey ni hota hai! Meri bachhi mujhey jaisey hi mili us'key kuch dair baad hi mery pass rah kar bhi dur ho gyi! I want my sister back!", Harshad said caressing Nandini's hairs with a teary eye.

"Harshad! I'm trying! Hopefully I'll get her back soon!", Manik said and stood to go outside.

"Kha jaa rha hai? She'll ask for you as she'll open her eyes!"

"Toh bol dena I'm still mad at her and meri baat karney sey pehly try to talk to her! Main Nia sey mil kar aata hun aur arrangements bhi dekhta hun!"

Harshad nodded and happily sat beside her and started to knead her hairs loving.

After sometime Nandini woke up with a cranky face and looked at her surroundings which is for a second unfamiliar to her. She was about to panic when Harshad told, "Good Morning Baby Girl! Slept well?"

She sighed in relief and nodded slowly and looked around for Manik.

"Wo nichey hai. He's looking after arrangements."

She nodded and said, "Aap kaisey ho?"

"Bhai bilkul thik hai baby girl! Aap kaisey ho?"

She smiled and looked around for Manik.

"Manik tujsey gussa hai! Kuch hua hai kya?", He tried to initiate the talk.

"Bhai mujhey ghar jaana hai!", she said with a pout.

"But baby girl aap avi toh aye ho! Aur yeh bhi toh tumhra hi ghar hai!", he said as her demand is making him sad.

"Par mujhey ghar jaa'na hai!", with this she shouted and stood on the bed showing her tantrum.

"Par baby girl!", Harshad tried to coax her but laughed finding her cute who was tapping her foot on the bed like a baby. He started recording her who was doing all the cute antics to go back to her house.

Hearing her shouts Manik came inside, he looked at Harshad and rolled his eyes as it's not new that she's doing something and he's recording it. Always they meet, he records her as if she's going to fade away.

Ignoring him Manik shouted, "Nandini Manik Malhotra! Kya chal rha hai tumhra?"

"Monstu!", she whispered and stops as her back was facing him.

"Haa! Monstu! Kya chal rha hai tumhra?"

She turned with a cheeky smile and said, "Mujhey ghar jana hai!"

"Kyu? Kyu jana hai ghar!"

"Meri marzi!"

"Tum—", Harshad cut him off and said, "Le jaa na Manik!"

"No ways! Iski yeh punishment hai ki na main issey baat krunga aur na hi koi v iski demand puri hogi!"

"But Manik—", Harshad tried to take his sister but Manik stopped him, "No Harshad! Ek baar mainey bol diya na! aur samjha dey apni behan ko ki agar isney aur natak kiye toh acha nhi hoga! Aur tujhey Nia bula rhi hai!"

He left and both brother-sister imitated him, "Acha nhi hoga!"

Both laughed and Nandini said, "Main jau na ghar?"

Harshad sighed sadly and said, "Baby girl1 I also want to fulfill your wish but tery monstu ney mana kiya hai! Toh baat toh man'ni hogi na? Apki dress mainey rakhi hai closet mein! Aap ready ho jau tab tak main aata hun!"

Patting her cheeks he left leaving her sad.

It was an hour when Manik came to check on her and found the room empty. He checked everywhere but she was nowhere.

He fumed in anger as he knows she has successfully sneaked out of the house.
