America POV

Me and Celeste talk for a little bit, then I decide to head back to my room and check on the twins.
"I will be right back, just need to check on the kids."
I walk out, back to my old bedroom, when I bump into Kriss.

"Oh, your Majesty! I am so sorry!"
No I'm not!

"Amanda. Or should I say America!"
I was stunned.
"What are you talking about! I don't even know an America!"
"Oh drop the act! I knew since day one!"

"Alright fine! But how did you find out!"
"America." She gives me an annoyed look. "I am the queen I know stuff. And Maxon has been acting so weird since your arrival. And let's face it! Those Brown contact lenses aren't doing anything!"

"Kriss..."
Before I could finnish she stopped me.
"America, if you are here just to steal Maxon away from me it's not going to work. And you better not tell Maxon about this talk or that I know that you are America! Or else!"

" Kriss I did not come here to steal Maxon, and I came, because you invited me to sing. I did, now I am going home, then I will never have to see your annoying face ever again! "

Kriss just stared silently, until her face started heating up red.

"Ohhh! Your going to get it! You just insulted your queen!"
I give her a smirk.
"No, I insulted you.
Your no queen Kriss."

Then I walk off smirking.

I get to my room and close the door.

I slide down the door, and start crying.
Why am I crying!
What is wrong with me to think that Maxon would want me. To think that I can get away with just trying to get a little piece of Maxon.

I cry a little more when a knock comes at the door.
Oh shoot! Maxon!
I hurry and wipe my eyes and open the door.

"America! What happened!"

You better not tell maxon about this talk or that I know that you are America.

Kriss's words wrong in my head.

Oh, I'm nothing I just, just, stunned my toe. Yeah. And it really hurt see."
I hurry and stub my toe, hopping that Maxon didn't see.
I show him my stunned toe, and he gives me a look, but let's it be.

"Alright, um I just needed to talk to you about Kriss."
I hurry and speak up.
"Me and Kriss never did anything! Nothing g happened!"

Maxon looks at me confused.

"Oh, um nevermind. Continue."

" America, did something happen with Kriss that I don't know about?"

"No, nothing happened. Just continue, so, about kriss?"

"Oh, right. So, you know how Kriss is a northern rebel? Well, I am going to try to use that against her. What do you think?"

" Maxon, I really want you back I do, but this just won't work, and Kriss... "
I almost told him about me and Kriss's talk. I am so glad that I didn't.

"America, I know how you are feeling, but please. You just have to trust me."

I give him a small smile.

"I promise."
