It is just a feel good story .

The incidents or characterisation of the actors has no relation with reality.

I have not yet written this kind of character. I am just trying a hand at it. Do support me.

In this story , Kong does experiences emotions, but he is unable to tell them apart or to understand the intrcacies of emotion, that is why sometimes he may seem overtly confused or even intolerable.

At first I was unaware that it's possible to not understand your own emotions. But these characters has been constantly prodding and poking my creative cells.

When I finally searched on internet, it led me to two conditions - autism and alexithymia which renders a person unable to understand their own emotions and social cues.

Since I am not much familiar with either of the conditions, I decided to leave it at the fact that Kong finds understanding emotions difficult. And I decided to trust my creative instincts.
I am leaving it upon you to imagine (consider) it as you want.

Also, it is not my intention to hurt or offend anyone. Please correct me if I am wrong in the portrayal of character.
