The 4 had eventually talked about the idea of moving in together as a group. They had decided that it wouldn't be such a bad idea. They would be able to make more collabs and make brand new content that they haven't done before. It would be easier if they worked together closely too. That way they could come up with schedules for recordings and sketches. Making a new channel wouldn't hurt either.
The one problem they faced was, where would they all move to? They all agreed that they wanted to be somewhere with a lot of people and somewhere they could interact and do multiple activities. Taube has suggested Florida but Max immediately shut that idea down. Being a person from Florida she knew that the people who lived in the warm state were all insane. She wanted a change in scenery and the group could understand that. After all they have all done the Florida man challenge for their YouTube channels.
In the end of the conversation they agreed on sharing a large apartment in New York City where Maya had already lived. It checked off everything that they needed for their channels and personal needs. The apartment was more of a penthouse. With their combined salaries they could afford a lot more then before and a bigger space was a requirement for almost all of the house members.
Maya, who had done most of the paperwork, was already at the penthouse moving in. Max was flying in first today then Oliver and Taube tomorrow. So Maya was about to go pick her up from the airport to help her move in. Her more larger items like her bed and such were coming in a moving truck which would be arriving in a few hours or so.
When Maya picked up Max she seemed extremely tired. Jet lag most likely. Maya didn't blame her, if anything she left her alone. The small girl was so tired that she fell asleep in the car. Maya, who didn't want to bother her, picked her up and gently set her down on one of the couches that she picked up for the main living space.
She then left her alone as she went back to the first floor to grab her stuff. Of course, naturally, she had a lot of bags and boxes which she somehow loaded up in the elevator all by herself. She set the items down Inside, having to make a few trips up and down the building. She sighed, leaning on a box, she looked around and wondered how the three members did the tube crew would react to such a large and fancy living space.
She wasn't used to it. It didn't bother her and on the outside you would think she wasn't phased by the large new home but inside she wasn't sure is she could adapt to it. She was an orphan her whole life. She was never adopted and never had a family of her own. When she became a YouTuber and started making real money she lived in a small comfortable apartment and even then the only people she talked to were the crew and her gaming friends. The only time she saw people was at conventions or the gym or the store.
She asked for the smallest room in the house and the others had no problem with it. Even though it was the smallest room, it wasn't exactly small. She had two walk in closets, one she would use as a gaming room, and enough space to fit at least 2 king sized beds. She couldn't imagine what the others rooms would be like.
She wasn't used to the whole family thing. Taube had even said it would be like living as a small weird family and the others agreed but she didn't answer. She didn't know how to answer. All she could do was sit and wait for the other two to show up so she could watch how this whole thing played out.
