A dark haired tall boy was fiddling with his phone. His headphone plugged in both of his ears. A certain video kept being replayed on his phone screen. A short violin playing followed by a short message that Eddy couldn't get out of his mind.

"I love you."

It was just a short 3 words sentence but seeing the awkward smile followed by a shy gaze looking at him,or maybe at the camera? Eddy never knew exactly what his older bestfriend process of thinking. He could be an open book most of the time, but Brett could be the hardest one to interpret if he wanted it.

Seeing Brett small figure saying that sacred three words, even if he just said it as part of a joke for his punishment. But... but... the eyes and everything look too different for it to be just a mere joke. Or was it what Eddy's mind telling him? For him to read deeper into it to make sense of what Brett was thinking while saying that? That maybe Brett was actually saying it to him?

Eddy shake his head. His train of thought was getting messier and messier the more he wanted to clear things up. The younger violinist wanted to keep the video just for his private property. But Brett would be suspicious if he didn't see the video uploaded in instagram story. Afterall that was what they had agreed upon, for the punishment to be posted exactly after they filmed it.

"It might be a spoiler for the fans, but hey, wouldn't that also peak their curiosity, mate?" Brett had said before. And yeah it certainly was alluring for the viewer.

The shorter violinist never failed to surprise Eddy with his idea. Despite his deadpan face in front of camera, Brett was actually a really great bestfriend with lot of unique ideas. Eddy was grateful for being able to be with him making video together, playing violin together, having fun together. Eddy couldn't imagine his life without Brett beside him anymore. That was how important Brett was for Eddy.

But on that day when Eddy heard his bestfriend in the world said the affection word in front of his face... Eddy couldn't stop his heart from thumping faster. It was like his heart metronome suddenly winded up to match Allegro vivace speed.

At first, Eddy was scared of this new feeling he had for his bestfriend. But now, he finally embraced it. Little lart of him already knew that it wasn't a sudden change. Nah. Eddy had always adored Brett since their highschool day together. And being together in twoset just made that feeling grew bigger. It was even to the point that his oblivious self couldn't contain it anymore.

Now he just wanted to say it back to Brett.

His doorbell rang. Looking at the clock, Eddy already knew who would come at this hour. The tall violinist pulled out his earplug and immediately exit the video app from his phone. No matter how he loved seeing Brett on the video he recorded, even saying the rare 3 words, Eddy would always prefer the actual Brett.

He smiled while opening his house's door. There were Brett in his usual loose white practice hoodie and his usual cute smile. "Hey, mate. Ready to record some video?" Eddy greeted his bestfriend.

Brett smiled back. "Yeah, bro. The response for our latest video was amazing. Should we do another charade today?"

Eddy didn't answer. Seeing Brett's smile always sent shiver down his spine like the feeling he got when he drank his favorite bubble tea.

"Bro? What's wrong Eddy? Are you sick?" Brett asked genuinely concern about his bestfriend.

The taller violinist laughed. "Nah. I'm good, bro," Eddy answered. "Just want to say thanks, bro. I'm glad to have you here..."

Brett raised one of his eyebrow. He was taken aback? Surprise? Ah, there was also a hint of glad feeling mixed up there, Eddy guessed.

"What the hell, bro? You are so random..." Brett laughed. "Glad to have you with me too, bro."

Eddy smiled. Nothing need to change. As long as he had Brett with him. Always.

Always...

"Love you too, bro!" Eddy screamed before running toward their filming room. He could hear Brett's laugh behind him.

Like always.

Their usual peaceful day.
