"Jeez, you have to be kidding! " Maggie exclaimed happily. I had just told her about what had happened in the pool the previous day. Yes, I avoided it, but in the end, I had to tell her. She was my sister and best friend after all.

After I left the pool, to went to take a shower and, well, I didn't come back. Maybe a few hours later, after I went to the beach. I couldn't face them, I was a bit ashamed fro what I said.

I know I must have seemed very cool, but I was sure my face had been bright red. Yes, I wanted to sound like I didn't care, but the truth I wasn't used to handsome guys flirting with me. Okay, I knew that I wasn't totally straight. But that was something else.

"No Maggie, I'm not kidding. And I wish I was" I muttered unhappily. I wished I could back in time to change my reaction. Too late, I thought.

"Oh, come on! That's something good Con! So, now tell me, was he hot? " She asked impatiently. I could kill her that moment.

Was he? I asked myself. Yes. No. Wait, what? Well, sure, he was handsome. Tall, tanned, blonde, sure, why not?
"No" I said.
"Liar" she gave the money to the guy in the entrance, who let us inside the aquarium.

Some hours earlier, still at breakfast, we had decided to visit one of Rayong's most popular attractions.The aquarium. Why not? We we're both really excited.

There we're many people around us. Mostly families, with kids running around holding balloons and toys from the gift shops.

There were 2 cafés on the area outside the main aquarium. One on our left and one on our right. We started heading towards one of them.

"So, wait here, till I go get a postcard for Matteo" she said and headed to the gift shop.

I took my digital camera of my backpack. I really needed to take some photographs. I had taken some of the hotel the previous day.

The camera was a gift from my dad for my grades the year before. It was expensive, yes, but it was mine and meant really much to me as I wanted to become a photographer after I finished High school.

I started taking photographs. I even asked a couple near me to make a pose. They did.
I took pictures of nearly everything. I stopped when I spotted someone near the entrance while I was looking around.
Logan. If that's his name anyway.Perfect. I quickly put down the camera and glanced at his direction.

He was talking to the Asian guy I had seen in the pool with him. Next to them we're a blond couple, looking at their phones.

A second Before I could drop my state, Logan locked eyes with me. Shit, I thought.

He smirked and waved at me. The blue-haired guy next to him laughed. Great! Now they're laughing at me!

I turned around blushing and made my way to the gift shop. What else was left for me to do? Yeah, find Maggie. I wouldn't sit there, looking like an idiot while they making fun of me.

I entered the shop, while putting my camera back in my backpack. I looked around the place.

It was pretty big. There were dozens of shelves with anything you could imagine. From toys to Souvenirs and T-shirts.

I didn't see Maggie, so I walked along the shelves on my left. There was a turn at the end of the aisle.

I kept walking while checking the products. I called Maggie 's name. Nothing. That's it, I thought, she abandoned me.

I reached the end. While I was about to turn left, someone bumped into me. I lost my balance and fell backwards. I almost instantly felt arms pulling me up.

I turned my head up. To see what? Logan. I quit, I thought, I'm seeing things. That must be it. He pulled me up. I suddenly felt angry at him. What could he be doing here anyway? I quickly regained my balance, standing on my feet. I pushed him away from me, breaking his grip.

"Shit, are you following me?" I asked angrily. Of course I knew he was going to deny it, yet I had to say something. And it was not going to be a 'thank you'.

"Of course i'm not!" He responded in an fake offended voice. Yeah, sure. I rolled my eyes, taking one more step away from him, pressing my back against a shelf.

"Then why are you here? In the toys section?" A small smile appeared on my lips as his hazel eyes grew wide.

"Well, I..um, I" He grabbed some random item from the shelf behind him" I came to buy this!" He said and smiled, proud of himself. Then we both examined the blue teddy bear on his hand. A small laugh escaped my lips. He made a face.

"Okay, have fun with it" I said and turned around. I heard him saying something behind me, but I had already reached the front door.

I found Maggie waiting fro me in front of the cafe. "Where were you?" She asked when she spotted me. I just told her I had been searching for her. Yeah, that's all.

"There was a back door you know! Anyway, who cares! Now come on, the tour is beginning in a couple of minutes!" She started dragging me towards a group of people near two big doors witch led deeper into the building.

Unfortunately, we ended up in the same group with Logan and his friends. Lucky me.

During the tour, they were behind us laughing like crazy non-stop. I didn't look behind once, but still, I could feel Logan's eyes on the back of my head the whole time.
