As Tokoyami looked for Raven, Jared led the rest of the Titans through the wasteland to search for James and Jesse. As they do so, the Titans are overcome witch shock at the hellish landscape.

Artemis: I.....I can't believe it.....

Beast Boy: This is seriously heavy....

Jared: We are nearly there.

While Jared said that, the Titans felt rage towards Jared. He was responsible for this. While he smiled upon the ruined wasteland, James and Jesse appeared before them.

James: There you are....

Jesse: It appears our brother has guests.....

Jared then turns to the Titans and simply walks out of the way. Confused, the Titans turn their attention to Jared.

Cyborg: What's the big idea?!

Jared: I believe you lot are more than capable of handling my brothers.

The Titans then turned around and prepared to fight the other Sons of Trigon. As the Sons of Trigon look upon the Titans, they simply sigh.

James: Jared's planning something.....

Jesse: We'll deal with him later....

James: But first......

Jesse: We'll deal with them.....

As the two brothers said this, the Titans began attacking James and Jesse. As they launch a devastating attack, James and Jesse were unaffected by the attack. The two then unleashed a Dark Magic attack. As the fight goes on, Jared watches with interest.

Beast Boy: These guys are insane!

Robin: Keep up the attack!

Artemis then fires arrows at James and Jesse while Starfire shot starbolts at them. James and Jesse then charged at them. Jesse grabbed Artemis by the throat while James grabbed Starfire's.

James: Now you die......

Jesse: Agreed brother.....

Cyborg: Not if I have anything to say about it! BOO YAH!

Cyborg then fired his arm cannon at Jesse while Beast Boy transformed into a gorilla and tackled James.

Robin: Titans! Swam!

The Titans soon swarmed James and Jesse and launched a coordinated attack. Even with their power, the two brothers were overwhelmed by the Titans. As the brothers collapsed to their knees, the Titans saw their victory.

Beast Boy: I can't believe we actually did it! 

Artemis: No thanks to Jared.

Robin: Wait a minute....where did he go?

As the Titans looked around for Jared, they see him standing above his brothers.

James: Traitor.....

Jesse: You fool.....

Jared: Nothing personal brothers. But I....don't.....share.....power......

James: Father will deal with you......

Jesse: Death will not be kind......

Jared: Hhm. Goodbye brothers.

Jared then ram his fists through both his brothers. They let out a deafening scream as they began to dematerialize. Their essence soon transferred onto Jared. The Titans became concerned as his body seemed out dark energy. 

Beast Boy: Guys......

Artemis: I don't like this.....

Robin: Jared!

Jared soon turned his attention back to the Titans and let out a laugh. 

Jared: You all did.....well. Now we have the tools need to destroy Trigon.

Despite this, the Titans were still untrusting of Jared. Seeing someone killing their own brother without hesitation disturbed them. Artemis was even more disturbed as it reminded her of her sister.

Artemis: How could you kill your own brothers like that?! 

Cyborg: I'm with Artemis! Even if their bad guys, they're still your brothers!

Jared: We may have been bonded by blood, but we held no bond. They were....a means to an end. Nothing more.

The Titans saw that Jared's evil was far gone. Nevertheless, they decided to move on.

Robin: So what now? Back to the church?

Jared: No. There is no time. We must confront Trigon. 

Starfire: What about friend Tokoyami and Raven?

Jared: They'll be fine. Once we confront Trigon, that church will be the safest place in the world. 

Despite the reassurance, the Titans couldn't help but sense something wrong. But they decided to continue with Jared. He led them to the former Titans Tower where Trigon made it his throne. 

Beast Boy: This is bad!

Starfire: Our home......

Cyborg: We're gonna kick his butt!

Artemis: How are we even supposed to deal with this?

Robin: What's the plan Jared?

Without hesitation, Jared attacked the Titans with a blast of Dark Magic. Trigon sees this. 

Robin: Why am I not surprised?!

Jared: It was all too easy. 

Artemis: So this was just a set up?!

Jared: Not exactly. As much as I would love to relish in the details, but I have no need to explain myself to the likes of you!

Robin: Titans! Go!

The Titans soon attacked Jared. Meanwhile, Tokoyami had Raven on his back as they make their way to the church. Tokoyami was still struggling to contain Dark Shadow.

Raven: T....Tokoyami? What's.....what's wrong? I sense.....something wrong.....

Tokoyami: It's.....isn't nothing Raven. 

Tokoyami didn't like lying, but he had to keep focus. He had to protect Raven and stop the apocalypse. 

Tokoyami: Listen to me.....no matter what happens, I'll protect you. No matter what. 

The younger Raven felt comfort in Tokoyami's words. Eventually, they make it to the church where they wait for Jared and the other Titans. Time passed and nothing happened.

Tokoyami: Where are they? 

Raven: Who?

Tokoyami: The Teen Titans. Our friends. 

Raven: Friends......

Tokoyami decided to leave out Jared's involvement as he didn't want to scare her. Raven looks to the wasteland and guilt overwhelms her.

Raven: It's.....it's my fault.....

Tokoyami: No! It's not! We will stop this! Prophecy be damned! You are a hero! The Raven I know is a kind, brave, and a wonderful friend! 

Raven: Hero......

Suddenly, Tokoyami felt great pain as he fell to the ground. Dark Shadow soon attempted to take over, but Tokoyami was able to hold him back. Raven saw as Tokoyami fought back Dark Shadow. She saw herself in him. When Tokoyami gathers his bearings, Raven approaches him.

Raven: Fumikage.....why are you doing this?

That single question confirmed that Raven remembered both Tokoyami and the rest of her friends. Tokoyami smiled and got on one knee.

Tokoyami: Because you are precious to me. How can I call myself a Hero if I can't protect those I love the most?

Upon hearing those words, Raven remembered the day he confessed to her. Tears began falling down her face, but Tokoyami wiped the tears from her eyes.

Tokoyami: It's okay Raven. We'll fix this....together. 

Raven: Look at me, Fumikage. There's nothing I can do. There isn't any hope!

Tokoyami: Then I guess I'll just have to have enough hope for the both of us.

Suddenly, the sound of battle was heard. Tokoyami and Raven look around the area and saw lights of Dark Magic near Titans Tower. Tokoyami soon sees the unmistakable green light of Starfire's starbolts.

Tokoyami: Starfire....damn you Jared.....

Tokoyami then looked to the frightened Raven. He didn't want to bring Raven into this, but he knew Raven was the only way to reverse what's been done. 

Tokoyami: Raven......

Without hesitation, Raven climbed on Tokoyami's back and both began making their way to Titans Tower to confront both Jared and Trigon. Tokoyami knew the great danger of this. He knew that there was a great risk to it. But with what's at stake, Tokoyami knew he had no choice. The fate of the world was at stake.
