As Tokoyami and Raven made their way to Titans Tower, Jared used his newfound power to decimate the Titans. Despite that, the Titans don't give up. 

Jared: You're quite tenacious aren't you?

Robin: We.....won't....give up....

Jared: Your actions while foolish are admirable. But even you all must know when a battle becomes hopeless.

Starfire: We...don't give up....on our friends!

Cyborg: As long as we can stand, we can fight!

Artemis: If you think you.....can make us give up, then you got another thing coming!

Beast Boy: So what.....are you waiting for bro......let's go!

Jared simply laughs at the bravery of the Titans. But just as he was about to lay out a relentless attack on the Titans, he stops. 

Jared: That presence......

Jared then uses his powers to restrain the Titans and fly to his father. He whispers in his ears about what he felt.

Trigon: I know. I've felt her presence. Just as I know of your plot.....

Upon hearing this, Jared's face didn't change expression.

Trigon: Do you think me a fool, son? I knew of your plot long before you put it in action. As your father, I'm proud of of you for taking initiative. But as your ruler.....I cannot tolerate such treachery!

Jared then attempts to attack Trigon, but Trigon sees through his son's attacks and unleashes a devastating Dark Magic attack on Jared. Jared lets out a bloodcurdling scream as he was disintegrated by Trigon's attack. The power then transfers to Trigon. As Jared dies, the Titans are released from Jared's trap. 

Robin: Titans! Go!

The Titans then launch a bold attack on Trigon, but he repels them away.

Trigon: Such a nuisance.

Trigon then summoned a Demon Horde to attack the Titans. As they hold the Demons back, Tokoyami and Raven arrive. Trigon then sets his eyes on Raven. 

Trigon: Daughter......

Raven: No......

As fear for Raven gripped his mind, Tokoyami began to keel over in pain. Raven is helpless as Tokoyami cries in pain.

Dark Shadow(Voice): Come on Tokoyami! Give in! We can take him!

Tokoyami: What.....what are you talking about?! 

Dark Shadow(Voice): You know what must be done! We can take him! Together! It's the only way! 

Tokoyami then thought of the potential ramifications for his next actions. But after a moment, he relents. 

Tokoyami: Very well then....

Tokoyami then gets up and walks up to Trigon. Trigon lets out a bellowing laugh.

Trigon: Foolish mortal! Are you mad?! Do you dare stand between me and my daughter?!

Tokoyami then turns to Raven. 

Tokoyami: Raven......whatever happens.....don't be afraid.......

As he said that, Dark Shadow began to take over. Shadow tendrils began wrapping itself around Tokoyami. He didn't fight back as Dark Shadow completely engulfed his body. Soon, Dark Shadow becomes a gigantic behemoth. Trigon takes notice of this. 

Trigon: Do you think your power is comparable to mine? I am Trigon! The Lord of Darkness! The Ruler of......

Dark Shadow then punches Trigon in the face.

Dark Shadow: Oh shut up! Show me what you got! 

Dark Shadow and Trigon soon engaged in a titanic duel that shook the boundaries of the world itself. Trigon shot lasers from his eyes at Dark Shadow, but he blocked the attack and counter attacks with a punch.

Dark Shadow: Hahaha! That tickles! COME ON! I'M GETTING BORED!

Dark Shadow then continues to press the assault on Trigon. When they both clashed, the ground began to shake. 

Trigon: Enough of this!

Trigon then began firing fire from his mouth and unleashes a devastating fire attack onto Dark Shadow. Dark Shadow howls in pain as he attempts to tank the attack.

Dark Shadow: AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The intensity of Trigon's fire attack eventually was too much for Dark Shadow to handle as he completely dissipated. Tokoyami soon fell to the ground as he passed out. Raven sees the Titans fighting valiantly against the Demons. She rushes to the unconscious Tokoyami. 

Raven: Get up! Fumikage! Please! Get up!

As she does so, she sees her father standing over her. His eyes light up as he prepares an attack.

Trigon: Farewell dear daughter. 

Trigon then fires his laser vision towards Raven and Tokoyami, but she protects them with a protective shield. Raven looks at her hands in awe and shock.

Raven: H...how....

Trigon: You may have retained some of your power, but you are still no threat to me, little girl. I am your creator! Your master! You exist only to serve me! You survive only because I allow it! What hope can a mere child have of defeating her all-powerful father?

A fire of hope lit inside Raven as her eyes glowed white. 

Raven: You may have created me......

Raven's body was then engulfed in a blinding light that transforms her to her old self with longer hair and maintaining her white cloak.

Raven:.....but you were never my father.

Raven then unleashes a powerful beam of white light onto Trigon, causing him to scream in pain. One by one, Demons began to disappear. Tokoyami soon wakes up. 

Tokoyami: Raven......

Trigon soon finds himself helpless against his daughters relentless attacks. 

Raven: Fathers are kind, fathers protect you, fathers raise you. I was protected by the monks of Azarath, I was raised by my friends. They are my family, this is my home and you are not welcome here. 

Raven then unleashes a final attack that unleashes her Soul Self and banishes her father back to his dimension. This attack helped restore the world to it's natural state. As Raven drops to her knees, Tokoyami runs to her. 

Tokoyami: Raven! You did it!

Raven looks to Tokoyami and hugs him tightly. Tokoyami hugs back. The Titans soon surrounded them.

Beast Boy: I can't believe we actually did it! 

Starfire: Raven, that was....

Cyborg:...unbelievable! 

Raven: No....it wasn't! 

Raven then looked to Tokoyami's eyes with love and appreciation. 

Raven: Because someone believed! 

Tokoyami: Raven.....I.......

But loving moment was interrupted by Beast Boy who was freaking out.

Beast Boy: Okay, you're freaking me out here! The white robe and smile are weird enough, but hugs? Are you still...you?

Artemis then smacks Beast Boy in the back of the head. 

Artemis: Don't ruin the moment. 

Hours later, Raven was cutting her hair. She had put on her regular costume. When she finishes, Tokoyami enters the room. 

Raven: Fumikage.....

Tokoyami: Raven.....I wanted to say something......when I let Dark Shadow take control, there was only one thing on my mind......you.

Raven: I know it must've been hard......

Tokoyami: Don't. For you.....the risk was worth it. 

Tokoyami and Raven then shared a loving and tender kiss. When the kiss ended, they gazed into each other's eyes.

Raven: Fumikage.....thank you.....for everything. 

Tokoyami: No.....thank you. If it weren't for you, I'd still be lost in grief and regret. I'd be stuck in that day. You helped me come to terms with what happened. I can never thank you for that.

Raven was moved by Tokoyami's words. She kissed his cheek as they told each good night. When he left the room, Raven began reading the Phantom of the Opera book he got her for her birthday. Meanwhile, Dark Shadow began speaking with Tokoyami.

Dark Shadow: Well that was fun wouldn't you say?!

Tokoyami: It didn't end in disaster. So there's that.

Dark Shadow: Oh come on! If it weren't for me, the whole world would've been screwed! A little appreciation would be nice!

Tokoyami let out a small chuckle.

Tokoyami: Thank you, Dark Shadow. Is that good enough?

Dark Shadow: Eh. It'll do! 

Tokoyami laughed as they went to Tokoyami's room at Titans Tower. As they rested, Tokoyami felt a great weight being lifted off his shoulders as he saved the woman he love and save the entire world from total destruction.
