the prompt:
to create the scene for when our character's fantasy becomes a nightmare. my character's fantasy was to become a doctor to find a cure for their younger sister who is terminally ill. in this piece, we see the aftermath. the experiments didn't work. nothing worked. and now... they're gone.

this actually kind of really hit home for me because i recently lost someone dear to me due to a terminal illness so i wanted to show my grief through this graphic as a sort of homage to her. i tried to translate the horror of losing someone you love into this dark, horrific scene.
