The king family have always lived in Florida, in a really nice neighbourhood and their neighbors include but are not limited to: nice old lady that bakes them cookies (Patton wants the recipe but she refuses to give it up), the butch lesbian couple (pax please correct any mistakes), the new neighbors (they moved in when the kings were 14 and the nice old lady had to explain the situation over cookies)

Nice old lady always bakes enough cookies for the kings and brings them round

The kings have a HUGE front garden and their house backs a forest

They have sword fights, they all learnt to spar when the boys were nine (just after the mom left because 'I wIlL nOt TolErAtE sUcH vIoLeNcE *proceeds to hit roman*) it helps the boys get their mind off the trauma, helps with their ADHD, let's energy out, ect. Remus uses his mourning star, Roman uses his sword and Romulus uses a hooked sword thing (drawings at the end of the chapter) they do this in their front garden and in the house after someone called the police on them in the woods (Romulus had a tough time explaining to the police about how it was a big misunderstanding and how it was completely legal) that's what nice old lady had to explain to new neighbors

People visiting are either like: 'wtf why are you fighting with very real looking weapons' or 'wtf why are there very not-Antique looking weapons hanging on the wall like guitars'

Did I mention how re & ro got to do something cool with their hair for their sixteenth so ro got it dyed and re got dreads and his grey streak?
