Today the guys and I were in the studio recording for our new album. "Ash, time to record your part for the drums." the studio manager says. I walked into the room and take a seat, then start recording. I was doing perfectly fine until.... BAM! Shayna shows up. She greets all the guys with a hug, but also gives Luke a kiss. Except it wasn't exactly a kiss, it was more of a down each other's throats kind of kiss. I then hear Michael tell them to get a room, "Do you mind? Get a room!" and feel a lot better. I get back to recording and still can't get it right. She's distracting me. Physically and mentally distracting me. My mind wanders off into my own world for a minute where it's me with Shayna instead of Luke. I was brought back to reality when I hear "Ash. Ash! ASH!" coming through the microphone on the other side of the wall, it was Michael. Shit, I think to myself. Why can't she just leave, and next think I know is Ema comes walking in. Great, now Shayna is gonna stay even longer. Calum comes walking in with a sympathetic look. "Want me to bring them to the other room so you can try and focus?" he asks. "Yeah that'd be great, thanks mate. I don't know how much it'll help, but it's worth a shot right?" I say with a desperate look. "No problem Ash." he says before walking out of the room. Within two minutes they were all in the other room and I was finally able to focus, at least a little bit. Enough to get some recording done. Just as we were leaving Michael runs up to me, "I could tell it was bothering you, which is a big part of why I said that." he says. "Thanks." I say with a half smile. Just as I was about to get into the car I hear a familiar voice. "Ash!" I hear from behind me, and I turn around. It was Shayna. "Sorry I couldn't come and give you a hug earlier. I knew you were busy and I didn't want to interrupt you." she says before hugging me. "It's okay, thanks for that." I say with a blank facial expression. "You're welcome, well I'll see you later. Bye!" she smiles before walking back over to Luke. I get into my car and put the keys in then left the studio parking lot and headed back to the house.
