You were very delightful children, you and Kyoko.

Kyoko's cheeks were somewhat pink.

"Y/N? It is you?"

"I was friends with her when we were kids. I had to move away from here, and we didn't see each other for a long time but... Heck! Now I'm here!"

"So have you! I see that you're still wearing that braid!"

"Oh- Yeah... "

(Yes, I do know that Kyoko isn't wearing her braid in the future arc but that doesn't matter ;w;)

"Wow... I can't believe it. It's been so long since I've seen you... Last time I remember how short you were. I know about it. It must have been horrible, getting involved in that horrible killing game."

Kyoko

"I managed."

You

"Kyoko, I have so much to tell you! Let's start from when I moved away and entered my new home!"

And you went on and on until it all led up to now.

During the killing school life

You

"Wow Kyoko, you're really good at this... Perhaps your talent is... The Ultimate Detective?"

Kyoko let out a small gasp.

Kyoko

"No. I don't know my talent, and I'm not fit to be a detective."

You

"Really? Because it seems like you're exactly the type to be a detective."

Kyoko

"I'm going to investigate somewhere else."

You

"Want me to come with you?"

Kyoko

"No thank you. I'd like to investigate myself."

You

"Oh- Okay..."

After Kyoko left, you were left solely. It was so cumbersome, everyone else was investigating collectively and you were alone.

You shut the door, omitting him no time to talk anymore.

"What else do you want, Makoto?"

Once the door was out of the way, it appeared to be Kyoko.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I thought you were Makoto..."

Kyoko

"What happened to make you talk to him in such a way?"

"I don't know I just... Don't like anyone here. I'm only comfortable with you, to be honest."

Kyoko

"Anyways, I want you to come to investigate with me."

You

"Me? Investigate?"

Kyoko

"Yes. I know how bad you already are at it, so I'll teach you tips and the basics. This should help you get better."

It didn't matter to you whether or not Kyoko liked you. You just wanted to be with her, and that was all.
