Mikan

"Uh... Y/N, are you here yet?"

Mikan inquired while on the phone with you.

You

"Yeah, I'll be there for sure so don't worry. I'm just about 6 minutes away."

Mikan

"O-Okay, that's good..."

Mikan has prepared a very special surprise for you at her home. You were on your way there by car.

You

"So, I heard that this "thing" is really important. Give me some details?"

Mikan

"O-Okay, well-"

Hiyoko

"Shut up Mikan! I thought we made it clear that nothing was going to escape that stinky mouth of yours!"

Mikan

"Wahh! I'm sorry!"

You laughed.

When a car came speeding from the left, your smile and laughter vanished.

Mikan was running away from Hiyoko when she came to a halt. The phone call made a crashing sound, which she heard.

Mikan

"Wh-What was that?"

Akane

"What was what?"

Sonia peered through the window.

Sonia

"Over there!"

She pointed at the scene of the crash.

Mikan

"H-Hey... That's Y/N's car..."

Mikan dashed out the door and into the wreckage.

Mahiru

"Wait! Mikan, it's dangerous there!"

Mikan clearly heard Mahiru's words, but she still dashed into the fray.

Mikan

"Y/N!"

She looked at the car that drove right into yours.

Her voice was no longer light and soft when she yelled.

Mikan

"I hate you! You stupid idiot! You piece of shit! You deserve to die!"

Hiyoko

"Mikan, stop it! That's too far!"

Mikan

"Who are you to say this is going too far?!"

Hiyoko exclaimed and took a step back.

Both you and the other person who collided with you were taken to the hospital. Mikan, on the other hand, has refused to care for any other patient than you. She didn't want to help the person who crashed into your car in particular.

Mikan

Oh Y/N... When will you wake up?

She sat by your hospital bed, keeping an eye on you.

The brightness hurt your eyes as you slowly opened them.

You

"Mikan?"

Mikan

"Y/N! You're awake! Are you thirsty, hungry, do you need anything?!"

You

"Hehehe..."

You giggled weakly, your stomach churning with each laugh.

You

"I am kind of thirs-"

Mikan

"I'll be right back!"

She came running into your room with a full cup of water in her hand, all in 5 seconds.

You

"Wow, that was fast."

Mikan

"A-Anything for you!"

You

"Mikan, you don't have to praise me like a God, you know that, right?"

Mikan

"Y-Yes, but still..."

With rosy cheeks, she gazed down at the ground.

You

"What happened? Why am I in a hospital bed?"

Mikan

"Some stupid idiot crashed their car into yours! They're the most idiotic person on the planet!"

You

Woah... Never knew that Mikan could say something like that. "The most idiotic person, huh?"

Mikan

"Yeah... They're a real idiot."

You

"Did you even find out who it was? Are they okay?"

Mikan

"I refuse to take care of the patient that crashed into you. It's all their fault you're like this."

You

"Mikan, you shouldn't-"

Mikan

"I don't care. I'm never forgiving them."

Her face brightened with happiness as the darkness faded from her face.

Mikan

"What I hate most is that it all happened on your special day... I wanted it to be the best day ever..."

Mikan's expression darkened.

You

"Mikan, it's okay... Even if we're days late, we can still celebrate it, right? Once I get out of this place, we can celebrate together."

Mikan

"T-Together?!"

You

"Yes, together."

You and Mikan enjoyed telling each other stories as she continued to take care of you.
