'Naruto actually looked... Cool!!' Sakura smiled.

Sasuke smirked.

"Hey Sasuke! Lend me your ear for a second! I have a plan!" He said.

"Teamwork from you dobe?" Sasuke smirked.

Sakura thought. "What...? What is this feeling? Was Naruto and Sasuke always this...?"

Naruto wiped the blood off his lip, "Now, Let's go wild!"

Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke stood watching Zabuza's every move.

"You seem quite confident, but do you have a chance for victory?" Zabuza asked.

Kakashi's eyes widened, "What are you all doing?! I told you to run away! Our mission is to protect the bridge builder! Did you all forget? We can't get into a battle now! And with me stuck here you have no chance!" he yelled, but they ignored him.

"Bridge builder?" Naruto asked.

"It's my fault this happened, sorry, but fight as much as you want! Save your sensei!" He nodded.

Sasuke smirked, "And that's how it is Kakashi."

"Ready?!" Naruto said.

Zabuza started laughing, a grin forming under his bandage mask. "You really haven't learned have you? Still playing your little game pretending to be neenja. When I was your age, this hand had already crushed many opponents." He said.

They gasped, Kakashi grimaced, "Zabuza, the demon of the mist."

"So I was in your book too huh?" The so-called demon asked.

"Long ago, in the village hidden in the mist, also known as blood mist village, before a student must become a ninja, there was one final test."

"Graduation exams?" Naruto asked.

Zabuza chuckled, "Yes..." He laughed again.

"What's so funny? We had a graduation exam too." Naruto questioned.

"Did you have to annihilate the whole class to pass?" Zabuza asked.

They froze.

"Imagine young ninja your age, eating together, training together, then is comes to the final exam, no one saw it coming, you couldn't stop until your opponent was destroyed! Your friend, the person who shared your dreams, now it’s him, or you."

Sakura shivered, "That's so cruel."

Kakashi nodded, "10 years ago, the graduation exam changed, one year before a dark evil filled the school with terror."

"What terror?"

"With pause or hesitation, a young boy not even a ninja, approached the class, and took down over a hundred other students." Kakashi finished.

Zabuza chuckled, "It... It felt so.... Good!" And he attacked, sweeping Sasuke off his feet, and he landed roughly on the ground, Zabuza elbowed him straight in the chest, pain filled Sasuke, he shouted and spluttered.

"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura yelled.

"Sasuke!" Naruto shouted with worry.

‘This can't be happening,’ Naruto thought, ‘Sasuke is our top genin! But this is an S-Rank criminal! A jounin! But we have to beat him!’

"You’re nothing." Zabuza stood on Sasuke.

"Stop right there! Shadow clone jutsu!" Naruto shouted out and thousands of Naruto's surrounded.

"Shadow clones? And there's quite a few of them." Zabuza thought.

They all brought up kunai's and attacked Zabuza, but quickly Zabuza threw them all off.

"I'm not giving up! I've still got this!" He threw Sasuke a giant shuriken and Sasuke caught it.

“So that was your plan? Not bad Naruto!" Sasuke smiled.

They both smiled.

"Demon wind shuriken! Windmill of shadows!" Sasuke shouted. Sakura beamed.

"A shuriken? You will never touch me with that." Zabuza scoffed.

Sasuke ignored him and threw the giant shuriken at him, it narrowly missed the first clone, and aimed for the real body. Zabuza caught it without hesitation. But suddenly another giant shuriken flew at the real Zabuza that was holding the water prison jutsu that was holding Kakashi.

"A shuriken hiding in the shadow of the other? The shadow wind shuriken." Zabuza thought, "But it still can't touch me!" He jumped up, still holding the water prison jutsu, the shuriken missing him.

"I told you that you can't touch me!"

Sakura's eyes widened with worry.

Sasuke and Naruto smirked.

The 2 shuriken's still in the air transformed into Naruto and they both threw a kunai at Zabuza.

"Eat this!"

The kunai was aimed for Zabuza's arm, and he couldn't move it unless he freed the jutsu, and freeing Kakashi. But he had no choice; he pulled his arm out of the water, the kunai missing Zabuza's arm just by an inch. Zabuza was angry to say the least and he got ready to throw the giant shuriken he was still holding at the falling Naruto.

"I'll destroy you!"

But he was stopped, Kakashi's arm was against the cold edge of the weapon, his hair and body wet from water, he raised his head, meeting Zabuza's eyes. Kakashi's sharingan eye was cold and hard, just waiting to be used to defend his team.

"Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura beamed.

"Naruto! That was an excellent plan, you've really grown."

Naruto smiled and laughed, "I know I couldn't have beaten him with my shadow clones, which were just to distract him, while he was fighting the clones I turned into the demon wind shuriken an- Wait, why am I explaining how I worked with Sasuke and beat up Zabuza? I don't even know 'ttebayo..." He muttered.

"You might want to get out of the water dobe." Sasuke told him.

Naruto's cheeks tinted pink, and he nodded.

"In any case, Naruto, Sasuke, excellent teamwork, I knew you could do it, concerning your private lives it was simple." Kakashi closed eye smiled.

Zabuza blinked and looked at Tazuna, "Does this happen all the time? I mean, don't they remember that I'm here?"

Tazuna shrugged, "It's happened before."

"Anyway, I just lost my grip on the water prison." Zabuza said.

Kakashi snorted, "Don't flatter yourself, you were forced to let go."

Zabuza snarled and jumped back, Kakashi read his movements with his sharingan. Zabuza landed on the water and prepared hand signs, Kakashi did the same and got ready.

Zabuza recited while doing the hand signs, Kakashi did thr same, in perfect unison, it was like watching and talking to a mirror.

"Tori!" They both shouted and water dragons rose from the water, "Water style, water dragon jutsu!" They attacked each other and Naruto was fighting against the water, Zabuza and Kakashi stood their ground, his sword attacking Kakashi… But it was stopped.

Zabuza paused, he thought it was impossible to do it simultaneously. So he jumped back and ran around, Kakashi followed him perfectly, they stopped, putting a hand up.

"He's not just following, he moves the same way at the same time!" Tazuna gasped.

Zabuza thought, "My movements... It's as if, as if he-"

"Knows what I'm going to do next?" Kakashi finished.

"What? Is he reading my mind as well? He looks at me with that eye..."

"It makes you furious, doesn't it?" Kakashi asked.

"You’re just coping me like a monkey-"

Kakashi and Zabuza finished, "You can't beat me with such cheap tricks!"

Zabuza was infuriated, they fought even more, Kakashi showing his true power.

A senbon needle hit Zabuza's neck.

"You were right, it was his last battle. Thank you, I've been tracking Zabuza for a long time, waiting for this chance to finally take him down."

Kakashi nodded, "I take it you are a tracker-nin from the village hidden in the mist."

"Yes, it was my duty to take out Zabuza. Thank you, now I must go." He flashed to Zabuza's side and held him up, disappearing. "Farewell."

"We haven't completed our mission yet, we have to get the bridge builder, to his bridge."

"You can rest at my house when we get to the village." Tazuna smiled.

"Alright, let's get a move on-" Kakashi collapsed onto the ground, everyone surrounded him, worrying what happened.

"Kakashi-sensei!"

They reached Tazuna's house and set Kakashi to rest, Sakura went with Tsunami (Tazuna's daughter) to collect herbs for dinner, Tazuna himself went to build the bridge. Leaving our favourite pair of love struck kids alone.

"So... Sasuke..." Naruto started. "This mission isn't what it was supposed to be huh?"

Sasuke chuckled, "Definitely not, but at least we're getting though it."

Naruto nodded, "Yeah, we did a pretty good job so far though right?"

They talked about meaningless things, not really caring, just accepting and enjoying the others presence, their hands inched closer with every sentence they said, they smiled, and laughed. It didn't matter about what they talked about, not really, just to be in arms reach of the one you loved was enough.

Their hands were next to each other by now, they didn't realize, of course they didn't.

"Sasuke, so, are we going to be still pretending that we're dating? I mean- Not like I don't mind- I just..." Naruto scratched his head.

Sasuke thought, if he said no, they would be hanging out as much, if he said yes...

"What about you, do you mind?" He asked.

Naruto blushed, "Err... No? Not really..." He buried his head in one of his hands.

Sasuke chuckled, "Then it will continue, I enjoy hanging out with you. I guess." He stumbled on his own words.

Naruto's face resembled the 'red-hot habanero's' and he nodded.

Sasuke grabbed Naruto's hand and held it, looking outside, Naruto was looking down on their connecting hands and blinked, then blushed again.

Behind them, silver hair was watching them and he smiled.

"I knew it..."
