WHAT THE.... WHAT WAS THAT?!

I slipped into the classroom quietly, hoping to avoid any more attention after my run-in with Present Mic and Aizawa. I was still trying to process everything that had happened so far today—from Shoto's confession to the kiss I had impulsively given him, to literally crashing into two of UA's most famous teachers. My heart was still racing, but now that I was in the relative safety of my classroom, I felt the adrenaline begin to ebb away, leaving a strange mix of embarrassment and excitement in its place.

This is just.....

I really made it this far...

How could I even kiss him....

Just ignore it for now...

Let's try to calm down....

The classroom was already half-full with students chatting amongst themselves, but I ignored them all, making a beeline for an empty desk by the window. I plopped my bag on the floor, sat down, and let my head rest on the cool surface of the desk, trying to calm my heart rate back to normal. Everything was moving so fast today;

I needed a moment to just breathe.

This day... what is even happening?

I sighed, closing my eyes, trying to calm my thoughts.

My mind kept circling back to Shoto, the way his eyes had widened when I kissed him, the way he had looked at me like he couldn't believe it was real. I couldn't help the small smile that crept onto my face at the memory, despite the heat that still lingered in my cheeks.

Was I blushing?

HAHAHAHA

Stupid question!

At this point, I could even be a tomato.

Sometimes, just like this time, I hated my none-existant poker face.

Maybe that would be a useful skill, I probably would need right now but it wasn't there.

Anyways,  just as I was starting to relax, I heard the classroom door open and the sound of footsteps approaching the front of the room. I peeked up from my arms just in time to see none other than Present Mic striding confidently to the front of the class, his usual wide grin plastered across his face. My heart sank.

Oh dang....

He is....

Wait a god damn moment...

HE IS...

HE IS MY TEACHER?!!!!!!

And I just ran into him?

Is that a good or a bad sign?

Present Mic: ALRIGHT, CLASS 1-D! WHO'S READY TO GET THIS PARTY STARTED?!

Of course, of all people, Present Mic was my homeroom teacher.

Of course.....

Just my luck....

Crash into him and then this....

The class erupted into a mix of cheers and groans, the sheer volume of his enthusiasm. I felt a rush of nervousness—this was going to be interesting, to say the least. BUT that was not my problem right now. I mean, he said that I was quite famous .... there could be two reasons, no hold up, three reasons for that.

1) Hitoshi and my story since Aizawa was kinda our dad and he is an underground hero and all.... and I think Hitoshi's mom getting arrested made it into the news. I don't even know what happened to Hitoshi nor did I care.

2) What I pulled up with the zero pointer at the entrance exam

or

3) Because on papers, I was still quirkless.

Present Mic: Now that I've got your attention, let's kick things off with a bang! But first things first, I'm Hizashi Yamada, aka Present Mic, your homeroom teacher this year! And yes, I'm gonna be the one guiding you through all the twists and turns of your first year here at UA! Don't worry, we'll have a blast together!

He flashed a thumbs-up, and the students exchanged curious glances, a mix of excitement and uncertainty rippling through the room for sure. For me it was exitement and also regret because ... I don't know... I think I was secretly wishing for someone else to be our homeroom teacher.

I leaned back in my seat, trying to blend in with the rest of the class as my mind replayed everything that had happened this morning. Shoto's confession still loomed large in my thoughts, but I had to focus now. This was UA, after all—my dream school. I couldn't afford to get distracted. This was nothing but a cover up for my vigilante life too! If this cover up would blow up, what was I supposed to do by then?

Present Mic: Alright, before we dive into the nitty-gritty, I've got some news for you! Since it's your first day, you all get the pleasure of meeting Principal Nezu in person! Yes, every class has to, and you're up next! He's got a little welcome speech prepared just for you.

FUCK!

That lunatic?

Are you insane?!

WHY?!

This is really just my luck...

Oh dang it!

I just jinxed it for sure?

What next? Slime bath?

Some honey and feathers for me?

Shigaraki and Kurogiri teleporting in the room or Stain getting here?

Wouldn't surprise me anymore....

The class murmured in response, and I definitely started to hate it. Nezu was known for his eccentricity, and I couldn't even begin to guess what kind of welcome speech he had in store for us. But before I could think on it too much, a sudden loud explosion rocked the classroom, followed by a chorus of shrieks and gasps from my classmates.

WHAT THE?!

Don't tell me I was right...

Don't tell me Shigaraki broke in for real....

I whipped my head around, eyes wide, as the sound echoed through the building. I instinctively looked out the window beside me, my heart pounding. What I saw made my jaw drop.

What the hell is wrong with this school......

Outside, in the clear blue sky, were animals. But not just any animals—cats, dogs, and even pigs, flying through the air with a variety of mechanical wings, jetpacks, and other contraptions strapped to their backs. It was an utterly chaotic and surreal scene, the kind of thing that you'd only expect to see in a fever dream.

Me: Pigs... are actually flying?

The sight was almost too bizarre to comprehend.

I blinked, wondering if I was still asleep, dreaming up some ridiculous scenario. But no, this was real.

It was happening.

I glanced around the classroom, and saw that everyone else was just as shocked as I was, staring out the window or at each other with wide eyes.

Present Mic: Ah, crap. They're at it again.

what do you mean at it again....AGAIN?!

WHO?

The room fell silent as all eyes turned to Present Mic, who was now rubbing his temples in frustration.

Present Mic: Listen up, little listeners! This is what we call a 'Support Course Prank Day.' The third-years in the support course do this every year for their first year starters. They love to mess with us by pulling all kinds of crazy stunts. Last year, we had a rain of rubber ducks. Today, it looks like they've outdone themselves with... flying pigs.

He sighed, clearly annoyed but also a little impressed.

Present Mic: And just so you know, this is only the beginning. There's gonna be more of this nonsense throughout the day. So if you see something strange, just... try not to freak out, alright? We'll survive. Probably..... if you see a red X marked on the ground, don't step on it and if you can, turn around and go back where you came from.... just a friendly advice from me.

The class was still in a state of disbelief, but a few students started laughing nervously, it was me who started this since it was surely something else.

Me: PFff-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

First Shoto's confession, then bumping into Aizawa and Mic, and now... flying pigs?

This day was officially the weirdest day of my life.

Present Mic: Alright, alright! Let's get moving before the support course decides to drop something else on us! We're heading to our auditorium where you all were writing the entry exam....try not to get distracted by whatever those tech geniuses are cooking up out there!

He ushered us out of the classroom, and I found myself moving on autopilot, I mean, I found this amusing to say the least and I definitely could just shake my head and smile about this.

Maybe this was just the right thing that I needed to get Shoto and the little chrash from earlier today out of my head.
