Well hello there!
After yesterday I really picked up an interesting idea and the moment it popped up, I already was bought over to do it. Consider it a done deal. It was stupid for sure but hey, no risk no fun, right? Or was this how it was supposed to go? Maybe at this point I also forgot what it's actually to fear something. I got too many powerful people backing me up, so I do kinda feel like invincible. Not only that but I got trained by no other than Stain who was a hero killer... if that man could kill soo many heroes and get away with it, then he was definitely strong as hell. So that makes me strong too now!
Anyways, the next day I was relaxing since summerbreak and all before the semester starts and decided to actually go introduce myself to the detective and see if I can actually grab some paper from that mans desk. There was nothing big going on around here and I was not allowed to go to the black market thanks to Stain where I would normally wanted to gather some intel. That meant that I had to get my intel in a different way and I highly doubted that my father and my dad would tell me anything in that sort of direction.
Breaking into Detective Tsukauchi's workplace was risky, but I needed information, and I was determined to find it. Besides, what could go wrong? What do they want to do after getting me? I am 'quirkless' on paper, I never injured anyone and I am still underaged.
This is stupid...
Why am I doing this again?
Ah yeah... information.... and because I have a feeling that man is not that stupid.
I mean.... he did look after a vigilante that day when I first went out on the streets.
He is not stupid... and he is accepting things quite fast.
Besides..... I need a favorite detective to annoy.
That's how things work in the movie.
Gotta get my very own one.
Dressed in my dark vigilante outfit, I approached the building, staying in the shadows to avoid detection. The police station was mostly quiet at this hour, with only a few officers working the night shift. I scanned the perimeter, noting the security cameras and the best points of entry.
I should be good to go this way.
The secruity is tight but also lacking.
Are they not interested in keeping people from breaking in?
All the cameras are set to catch people from getting out but if I get behind a camera....
And then cut it....
I could get in and out and make sooooooooooo much chaos!
Yeah better not do that.
I wanna be friends with that man.
Like batman!
Oh I love that movie!
After my little distraction inside my mind went away as fast as it popped up, I continued my plan to get inside. I found an open window on the second floor, a small one that likely led to a storage room. I took a deep breath and climbed up, my movements silent and swift. Once inside, I navigated the dimly lit corridors, relying on the names written on the doors.
Interogation room.
Mr. Boese and Mr.Gemin.
Funny that they put these two together.... I can only imagine them and their personalities... HAHAHAHAHA what a good joke.
Let's see...
Sansa....
No, not this one either...
AH!
Chief detective Tsukauchi!
BINGO!
Oh his name is Tsukauchi?
Good to know that.
I reached the third floor without incident and also finally found Tsukauchi's room, but I knew the hardest part was yet to come. I was listening intently for any signs of movement. Hearing none, I carefully picked the lock, my hands steady despite the adrenaline coursing through my veins. This was certainly a first. Guess it was good that I was already out a couple of months doing simple vigilante work. It was strengthening my nervers for sure.
The door clicked open, and I slipped inside, closing it softly behind me. The office was modest, with a desk cluttered with papers and a few filing cabinets against the walls. I moved quickly, knowing I didn't have much time.
Gotta find something useful.
Anything that can help me stop this bored life.....
Sheesh I always thought being a vigilante would be more fun.
But saving some people from dunkyards.....
Then thieves...
Making sure people don't break stuff....
Yeah that is about it....
Nothing really that interesting.
I really hoped for murder, a crime scene or a drug ring but nope..... it's not as easy as one would think....
I need insider information for this.
I wanna get involved in more!
I rummaged through the files on the desk, scanning documents and reports. My eyes fell on a folder marked "High Priority: Unkonw laboratory found." I opened it and quickly read through the contents. There were detailed reports on various villains and their recent activities, including surveillance photos and locations of suspected hideouts. What did put them together, was the fact that they were seen at a certain spot where the police recently found an underground basement pretty well hiden and it was made to be like a hospital room and another one like a surgery room. In short it was a laboratory. The question was.... what were they doing?
This is it.
This is what I need.
This is gonna be fun for sure!
I pulled out my phone and snapped photos of the most relevant pages, making sure to capture every detail. I knew Tsukauchi was one of the good guys, and I didn't want to make his job harder, but then again, I also wanted to do exactly that as well since I needed a police officer, preferably a detective, to annoy as well.
It was just something about the way batman and that detective worked together that made me want to have the same relationship with a police officer too but more... well.... childish I guess. I wanna annoy them, I wanna scare them, I want them to deal with the aftermath and curse at me for being out there.
Wouldn't that be perfect?
Anyways!
Before leaving, I grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled a note:
Detective Tsukauchi,
I've taken some information to handle a situation discreetly. I will do my best to give you a helping hand. Feel very honored about this since I am getting you more work to do ^^ but also less since I'll present you some villains ona silver table.
- ...
I need a name...
I can't sign with Vigilante...
What name do I use?
AH!
Got one!
-Flux
Keep it simple... right?
I kinda like it... goes easy from the tongue!
I placed the note on his desk, feeling a pang of guilt but knowing it was the right thing to do. Slipping out of the office, I retraced my steps, careful to avoid any encounters. The building was still quiet as I made my way back to the open window and climbed out.
Once outside, I took a moment to catch my breath, the cool night air calming my racing heart. I had the information I needed, and now it was on me to get my fun share of being a vigilante and that meant messing with people while saving them! Plus this was certainly more interesting thant drunk yards.
