Let's see.... what now?

It was deadly silent in this room but thankfully not for long since contestant of this exam started to storm in one by one. I might have been early but they were early as well. To be fair, it would definitely better to just go with the exam. At least this way I could say I got into this school by my own effort. Of course I was studying a lot and I was actually also getting some excercise and... I was just prepared for this.

Long story short, people started coming in and I could see Eraserhead finally getting out of his sleeping bag. He was apparently the one who was giving us the papers and when he got to me, I swear I could hear him say good luck kiddo but I wasn't really sure since we were allowed to start the moment we had the paper. Everyone started immediately and so did I. There was no time to way to fill out and get out of this school. Somehow the meeting with Nezu freaked me out enough to want to get out of this school.

Alrigh, let's see....

Math: Solve this series: 2, 4, 8, 16, __?

Easy!

Each number is multiplied by two so it's 32.

If a hero can save 5 people in 20 minutes, how many people can they save in 1 hour?

15 since 5 people in 20 seconds now multiply by 3 cause 1 hour are 6 minutes and voila, the answer is 15.

The math part was quite easy, I could tell that some people would think more about them since they did get a bit harder but also not at the same time. I don't know, I find them quite alright and flew past them in a couple of moments.

After math, it was a small part which was all around science and technology.

Explain the principle of conservation of energy.

The principle of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another. In a closed system, the total energy remains constant.

Isn't that something everyone knows?

Why is this question even here?

Are they accepting everyone in this school now?

Describe how GPS technology works and how it can be useful in rescue missions.

GPS (Global Positioning System) uses a network of satellites to determine the precise location of a GPS receiver on Earth. It can be useful in rescue missions by providing accurate locations of individuals in distress, guiding heroes to the scene quickly and efficiently.

I couldn't really believe these questions since they were quite easy and basic. Too basic that it made me question myself if I made an error or if it was intentional. Perhapse I had a different exam then the others because they were definitely wracking their minds. I could even hear the one next to me whispering as he was thinking.

Were these questions really that hard?

I find them more than just basic.

The next part was about ethics and history.

Discuss a historical event where a single individual made a significant positive impact.

Should I go for the obvious?

Yeah let's go for the obvious one.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s leadership during the Civil Rights Movement. His advocacy for nonviolent protest and his powerful speeches, such as "I Have a Dream," played a crucial role in advancing civil rights and combating racial segregation in the United States.

This should be good.

I could have used someone else but let's just go for the basics.

What are the ethical considerations a hero must take into account when using their powers?

A hero must consider the potential harm to bystanders, the legality of their actions, the proportionality of their response, and the necessity of using their powers. They must ensure that their actions are justifiable, avoid excessive force, and respect the rights and dignity of all individuals involved

I was doubting this exam by now.... very hard... and the people who were taking the exam with me because this was not that hard. Not only that but if someone was failing this, then they definitely had a screw lose.

After all that ethical and hystorical part, one question was following filling a whole page called "crictical thinking". Was this really critical thinking tho? I don't think so becayse everyone should know how to act in such a scenario. Especially when they were applying to a hero class in the best hero school of the land.

Given a scenario where a building is on fire and there are people trapped inside, outline your plan of action. Justify your choices

First, assess the situation for immediate dangers (e.g., structural collapse). Then, prioritize the rescue of those in the most immediate danger, starting from the lowest floors upward. Use powers or equipment to clear debris and create safe exits. Coordinate with firefighters and medical teams for a smooth rescue operation. The justification lies in minimizing risk to both the trapped individuals and the rescuers, ensuring a methodical and efficient evacuation.

Sheeesh.... Seriously... what is this?

Is this some kind of joke?

Once I was finished with these questions, I looked at a stack of papers that was still left. I think I went through 21 pages already and yet there were more here. However the very first page was just the title.... Psychological and Character Assessment. I already hated it.

Scenario-Based Questions:

-How would you handle a situation where saving one person means potentially endangering another?

Assess the risks and benefits of each action. If possible, find a way to save both. If not, prioritize the one in immediate danger, and then quickly move to assist the other. Always seek the solution that minimizes overall harm.

Why do I have to answere these?

Should the subject be... I don't know.... less like these?

How about some logical thinking?

How about some language?

Or how about seeing a pattern and have to continue it?

No?

You like fucking with our minds this way?

Fine with me....

Describe a time when you had to make a difficult ethical decision. What was the outcome?

In a group project, a teammate was not contributing. I had to decide between reporting them or covering for them. I chose to address the issue directly with them first, which improved their participation and preserved team harmony.

That is what I would say..... if not for the fact that I was bullied.

Am I allowed to lie here?

Well no one said I need to describe a real situation...

Let's just say I thought about it for a long long time and came to this conclusion.

I mean it would be normal if not for me to be an outsider...

How would you lead a team of heroes with diverse abilities and personalities?

Understand each member's strengths and weaknesses, promote open communication, set clear goals, and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. Encourage collaboration and adaptability to leverage the unique abilities of each member.

Let's just say I was more than just glad to be done with all these questions about my character. It was not as if people couldn't lie on paper at all. This just made me think that all this was useless and quite ridiculous as well. Now I wish this would have been over but it was still not over because a part called "Psychological Evaluation" came right after this. By now I wanted to throw this exam out of the window. This was not an exam per say anymore. It was just to see how well one would do with certain situations which wouldn't be such a bad idea except that people could lie on paper and even if they say one thing, people act differently in certain situations in real life. Besides I hoped that this exam would be way more .... well asking about our brain capacity and math and logical thinking and.... just not this.

Describe how you cope with high-stress situations.

How about I want to throw this exam out the window, right now?

Is that how you want me to cope with some nuisances of an exam?

I know what they wanna hear from me... so let's put this down:

I stay calm by focusing on breathing techniques, breaking down tasks into manageable steps, and maintaining a clear perspective on the priorities. I also debrief and reflect afterward to learn and improve.

Explain the importance of empathy in heroism. Provide an example from your life.

Empathy allows heroes to understand and connect with those they are helping, ensuring actions are compassionate and considerate. For example, I volunteered at a shelter, listening to and supporting individuals, which helped tailor the assistance we provided.

How would you support a fellow hero who is struggling emotionally?

I grinned at the last question I had to answer. No one could be able to feel how badly I wanted to write bullying or just quite your job because of how people were towards me and how obvious that questions answer was. I was even contemplating to write it down just for fun but I had a bet with Nezu and that favor was something I could really need. So I didn't mess with the answer at all and wrote the right thing down which Bakugo probably would get wrong.

Offer a listening ear, provide reassurance and encouragement, suggest professional help if needed, and ensure they know they are not alone and have support from their team

Come to think of it, Kacchan should be here as well....

The moment I was done, I found myself looking around while standing up to hand the paper in. It was more than 100 pages and we had about 6 hours time for them. I finished them all in an hour time and my hand was hurting from all that writing. I hated myself for not just writing short answeres but hey, I wanted to get Nezu's favor. Well anyways, while I went to Aizawa to give him my paper, I spottet Bakugo paling up when he saw me but not only because of that, I was sure he was currently trying his best to work some questions out and was looking at me, then the paper and then back at me. It was fun seeing that reaction.

Oh and I also saw Hitoshi there.

Weird but funny how he was glaring at me.

Once I handed my papers in, Aizawa smiled at me and just nodded before he told me I could leave for the day. Well with this done, I had one problem less to think about.
