INT. HALLWAY – NIGHT

Abram's walking with his guitar and book bag. Savannah and Vance appear down the hall carrying Mannie. They all stop.

SAVANNAH

What are you doing here?

ABRAM

Wondering if I'm suddenly an accomplice to a crime?

VANCE

You didn't see us, we didn't see you.

Abram pauses for a second.

ABRAM

Fair enough.

They go about their business.

INT. OUT OF ORDER BATHROOM – NIGHT

Abram sits on the sink playing his guitar. He stops. Leans his head against the graffitied mirror. His notebook sits beside him opened to a sketch of a beach with a song titled "Carried Away."

INT. HALLWAY – NIGHT

Brandy glides on Josh's board as he holds her hand.

BRANDY

And you're just telling me this?

JOSH

I wasn't sure how you would react, so I didn't say anything. I wasn't sure how you felt about me. But I guess, now I know where I stand.

Brandy turns to face him and loses her balance. Josh catches her.

JOSH

I've got you.

BRANDY

I know.

They stare at each other, until something else catches Josh's eye.

JOSH (CONT'D)

They're here.

BRANDY

What?

She looks behind her. "Sharks Rule" is spray painted on the lockers.
