ACT TWO

INT. AUDITORIUM – NIGHT

The auditorium is packed. Guests are murmuring, waiting for the show to begin. "Forever" by Chris Brown plays. Mannie the Mammoth appears on stage dancing. Mr. Edwards dances out from the opposite wing. They join each other in the middle of the stage performing their routine. Then Mannie really starts getting down. Mr. Edwards stands back and lets him take over. Manny finishes with some b-boy moves and poses on the ground.

MR. EDWARDS

Give it up for Mannie everybody!

The crowd cheers, whistles, and shouts. Mannie climbs back to his feet and makes gestures of gratitude. He gestures toward Mr. Edwards and pumps up the crowd.

MR. EDWARDS (CONT'D)

Thank you. Thank you. I'm going need an oxygen tank after this. Welcome to Northpointe's Shining Star Talent Show. Our students have worked really hard to put together an amazing show tonight. We hope you enjoy. Please welcome our first performers Honesty Girls.

They walk off the stage as the curtains rise. The spotlight shines on the Honesty Girls and they put on a spectacular performance. There's lights, background visuals, balloons. This talent show is a big deal.

INT. AUDITORIUM – NIGHT

Torie, Brandy, Shae, Mo, and Savannah sit in the back of the auditorium. Savannah searches around.
