Abram wakes up to his band's talent show performance playing in the living room. He gets out of bed.

INT. LIVING ROOM – NIGHT

He enters the living room. Gwen's sitting on the sofa watching the video on her phone. She's eating a sweet roll.

ABRAM

The wonders of technology.

He flops down next to her.

GWEN

You guys sound great. I wish I could have been there.

ABRAM

You were. (re: sweet roll) You bring extra?

GWEN

Of course I did.

She hands him a sweet roll and they eat while watching the video together. Gwen gets a text. She checks her phone. Abram eyes it suspiciously.

ABRAM

Who's calling you at midnight?

GWEN

A friend. Making sure I got in.

She sends a quick text then puts the phone away.

GWEN (CONT'D)

Where's your car?

ABRAM

Roadkill. I'm going to have to have it towed.

GWEN

We'll figure something out. We always do.
