INT. HALLWAY – NIGHT

Torie barrels around a corner and bumps into Abram.

ABRAM

Whoa.

Torie has questions, but doesn't care enough to bother.

TORIE

I don't even want to know.

ABRAM

I heard screaming. What's going on?

TORIE

That wasn't me.

Her walkie crackles.

ERIC (WALKIE)

We just got attacked by sharks.

ABRAM

Sharks? What exactly did I walk into? The Twilight Zone?

TORIE

Vance stole Southside's mascot and now they're retaliating. (using walkie) Eric, where are you?

ERIC (WALKIE)

History Hallway. You might want to steer clear of Mrs. Ashby's class.

Torie heads in that direction.  Abram stays where he is, debating. Finally--

ABRAM

I know a shortcut.

Torie hesitantly turns back around.

INT. HALLWAY – DAY

Torie and Abram meet up with Eric and Mo just as Savannah and Vance join them.

SAVANNAH

Mannie's safe. We moved him.

TORIE

Did you see where they went?

ERIC

I never saw them.

Brandy and Josh enter the hall.

BRANDY

They tagged the lockers on the third floor.

Josh shows the paint on his hand.

JOSH

At least it's washable.

MO

Where's Shae?

Brandy and Josh exchange guilty looks.

BRANDY

We got split up.

TORIE

(using walkie) Brandy, are you okay?

SHAE (ON WALKIE)

I'm fine. I'm with Tristen.

TORIE

Where are you?

SHAE (ON WALKIE)

We're in the Science Hall.

ABRAM

That's where Flynn is.
