Cold days in Saigon

A hot smoking cup of coffee over pine wood at a corner of the avenue crossing of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and another. The abysmal sweetness in each spoon of yogurt. The dense steam patternied by the finger as picking of the corn pill. That is what you could get on a trip to Dalat. But why not try it in Ho Chi Minh City, on the coldest day of the year.

Year around, HCM is famous worldwide for its retro/urban combined culture, which is an example of how influenced people are by the affects of a cultural shift. Saigon's cultural aspects stands out to be unique in its own way, as an offspring from two great polar of culture: western and eastern. From the beginning years we have origins based on Eastern cultures but soonly became affected by Western thereafter. The years of history through time lays down clear in the city's architecture. Tourists coming in and out of here get an amazement from first impressions, but get their memories on the second.
But for Dalat, a city known to dwellers, it is a different story. Unique as it is, the place posseses something nowhere else can have: itself, Dalat. It is the people, the markets, streets without lights,... Little to say, there is so much to say about uniqueness in Dalat. Physically, Saigon differs little to Dalat, but mentally, we know which is which.
