M and LLENN headed back to Glocken after training as M stared at LLENN. He knew she had something that was motivating her and it seemed to be from when he explained which teams will be competing.

M:LLENN.

LLENN: What?

M: Might I ask why are you so determined to win this Squad Jam? Or at least make it in the final two?

LLENN glanced at M before looking down.

LLENN: There's someone that I need to talk to. He's on one of the teams competing in the Squad Jam. I know he'll make it to the end. After all, he helped me get to where I am in this game now....

LLENN gripped P-Chan tightly and continued to walk in silence. She knew how distant they have gotten in such a short amount of time. It pained her because she really enjoyed the time they spent. That's why when she found out that he was participating in Squad Jam, her motivation increased even more than the promise with Pitohui. It was a chance to fight him and to hopefully start over.

Kise and I kept to a brisk pace after getting off the hover boat as shots rang out in the distance.We headed towards them as I readied my Scar.

Azure: Shots are getting closer, break off formation.

Kise:Copy.

I watched as Kise run off in a different direction as I slid behind a nearby rock and observed the scene.

Kise:I got eyes on everyone.That DMR guy has a position in a small cave near some vegetation.Saw the glint of his scope.We engaging?

Azure:Let's wait.The DMR will close in to assist LLENN. Seems like there's only-

Sophie:I got you!

I quickly turned around and saw a burly woman aiming an LMG at me.

Azure:Shit!

I leapt over the boulder taking a few bullets to the shoulder and arm.

Kise:You taking fire?

Azure:Yep!

Kise: Right......

......

Azure waited as the barrage of bullets kept hitting the boulder. The bullets kept going until an audible click was heard.

Sophie: Damn!

Azure flew out of cover as everything seemed to slow down.

Kise:Azure!On your six!

Azure dropped to the floor as a sniper bullet grazed his head.

*BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*

Azure took down Sophie as two shots pierced her chest and two found purchase in her head as Sophie's head jerked back as she collapsed to the ground dead. Azure immediately rolled back to the boulder dodging the sniper bullets hearing the vicious bullet crack noise and seeing the dirt spring up from the bullet impacts.

Kise: Steady.....

*BANG*

A loud shot rang out as Azure peeked from his boulder to see the sniper's head gone as her body lifelessly dropped to the floor.

Kise:...Goodnight!

Azure dashed out from cover hearing fighting right below the elevation he was on as he leapt off showing LLENN fighting Eva or better known as Boss.The two looked up as Azure fired two more bullets at Eva.

*BANG*BANG*

Eva stopped in place as she fell to the floor in front of LLENN with two bullets in her face. Azure landed on the ground throwing his Deagle mag out and putting in a fresh one then immediately aimed his gun at LLENN.

LLENN:?!

*BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*

.....

M moved forward cautiously as instincts let him dodge the 50.cal bullet that just missed his head as he saw the sniper from behind a small rock.M ran for cover as Kise fired another round as it just grazed M leaving a large slash across his arm. M peeked from his cover and fired his MK14 back at Kise who ducked down.M pulled out a grenade and launched it towards Kise who saw the grenade coming for him. Kise quickly aimed his sniper and shot the grenade out the air watching it explode. M used this  opportunity to get closer.

M:He doesn't know that I changed cover and the closer I get,the more he'll be at an disadvantage.

M peeked from his cover only for his head to meet the suppressor of Kise's pistol.M quickly moved his head and shoulder bashed Kise knocking him back and dropping one of his USPs. Kise hastily pulled up his second pistol and fired at M clipping his arm and leg. M backed behind cover not before firing a couple rounds at Kise clipping him in the shoulder making him drop the pistol. M took that advantage and fired at Kise making him abandon the gun and dive into cover kicking up a little dirt.Kise laid on the floor before gripping his sniper and smiling.

Kise:Now this is what makes VR games the shit!

Kise jumped up and charged at M. M quickly jumped out of cover and fired at Kise hitting him in the stomach and arm.

M:Why's he charging at me? No matter,he's dead.

M zeroed in on Kise's head and fired as Kise smirked and tilted his head to the side dodging the  bullet.

M:What?!How?!

Kise leapt towards M as his foot landed on M's chest and he pushed off M like a springboard clipping the bottom of his chin with his boot as he backflipped and readied his rifle at the stunned M. M could only watch as Kise while falling backwards fired his sniper as the bullet pierced M's chest and his heart. Kise landed on his back and looked up as M slowly fell to the ground with a face of pure shock. Kise sat there panting as he fell back on the ground.

Kise:Thank god......

Azure lowered his gun after firing as LLENN's P90 disappeared.

LLENN:How dare you.......HOW DARE YOU SHOOT P-CHAN!!!

Azure:......

LLENN charged towards Azure a face of pure anger as she pulled out her combat knife and let out war cry. Azure fired at her but she nimbly and swiftly dodged the rounds

LLENN:HRAAAAHHHH!!!!!!

Azure dodged LLENN's strike as she quickly turned around and sliced his leg.

Azure:Grrh!

LLENN quickly came back for another strike but as LLENN went to slice his leg, Azure side-stepped to the side and dodged the knife as he leapt off the ground performing a spinning roundhouse kick to LLENN's temple. The boot connected as LLENN slid across the ground. Azure aimed his Deagle only having three rounds left in the mag he had as LLENN slowly got up her HP in the yellow. LLENN growled and charged towards Azure once again as Azure ready himself only for LLENN to flip her knife as she launched it towards Azure. Azure leaned back to dodge the knife as LLENN dropkicked his stomach knocking Azure over and causing him to drop his Deagle. LLENN scrambled over and grabbed the Deagle as Azure grabbed his combat knife whacked his Deagle out of LLENN's hand as the Deagle fired and  shot off into the distance. LLENN quickly straddled Azure and began to try and punch him as Azure raised his forearms and blocked her hits until he left himself open as LLENN threw a right cross finding purchase on his face as he dropped his combat knife. LLENN grabbed the knife and tried to stab him as the two struggled for a minute until Azure threw LLENN's head towards him and headbutted her. As she recoiled back Azure slappes the knife out of her hand as quickly through a straight into his nose. Azure took the pain and jabbed LLENN's stomach as LLENN grunted from the pain letting Azure push her off him as he tried to grab his Deagle only for LLENN to climb on him again as she wrapped her hands around his throat and began to choke him out.

LLENN: DIE!!!

Azure gripped LLENN's wrists his nails beginning to dig into her as his HP began to slowly go down. Azure glanced at the Deagle and began to reach for it until he reeled his arm back and threw a punch to LLENN's face.

*WHACK*

A powerful hit as LLENN's grip slightly loosened as he punched her again. The grip loosing tension. One final punch as LLENN fell over next to Azure from the impact of Azure hitting LLENN in the side of her head with his fist. Azure slowly turned over and lazily pinned LLENN down as he aimed his Deagle right against LLENN's head.

LLENN:.....Looks like I lost...

Azure:.........

LLENN: Azure......?

Azure:?

LLENN:Do you....hate me?

Azure:........No.I could never hate you.

LLENN:Really?

Azure: Of course.

LLENN:Do you think...we can start over?

A warm smile curled up on his face.

Azure: Yes. I would like that very much.

*BANG*

LLENN's body laid dead on the ground with one bullet in the center of her forehead as Azure fell over similar to Kise.

"CONGRATULATIONS!"
"WINNER"
"TWO"

Announcer:Congratulations!The winner is TWO!Squad Jam,game over!

Azure stood up as Kise approached him and helped him up.

Kise:Well, Y/N....

Kise and Azure wrapped each other in a tight hug they raised their fists in the air as fireworks went off in the background.

Kise & Azure:WE DID IT!!!!

Girl1:U-Um, sorry to randomly bother you, but....w-we're always passing by you, right?

Karen:Y-yeah.

Girl1:Did you get a haircut?

Karen:Yeah, I got it cut short yesterday.

Girl1:It looks good. You look cool!

Karen:R-really?

Girl1:Every time we walk by you,we talk about how tall and stylish you are,like a model. I mean,we're all short....I liked how you looked with long hair, but this looks even better on you!

Karen:Th-Thanks!

Girl1:I wish I were taller....

Karen:I've always hated being tall,but the day before yesterday it just stopped mattering to me. So I got a haircut.

Girl1:How did you get over your complex?

Karen:Th-That's......because I repeatedly fought for my life. I realized that if I didn't give up,I'd survive somehow.

Girl1:Th-That's amazing!

One of the girls from behind the one in front stepped forward and placed her hand on front one's shoulder.

Girl2:Good for you,Boss! You finally got to talk to her.

Karen:Boss?

Saki:It's a weird nickname,isn't it? I'm Saki Nitobe. I'm a second-year at the affiliated high school. I'm the captain of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, and these are it's members.

Karen: Hello.I'm Karen Kohiruimaki, a first-year university student.

Saki: That's a pretty name.

Karen:Thank you. Nice to meet you.

Saki:If I see you again, is it okay it I talk to you?

Karen:Of course.

Saki:Thank you very much!

Club:We'll see you!

Karen:Yep.

I watched as they walked away,they couldn't be...could they?

Saki:Um...Ms.Karen. One last thing. Can I shake your hand?

Karen:Of course.

We shook hands as Saki gave me a competitive smile.

Saki: We'll have to finish our battle sometime,munchkin.

Karen: Bring it on anytime,Amazon.

Karen & Saki: In GGO!

Saki nodded and caught up with her group.

???:Seeing those girls is always nice.

I turned around and was met with a guy taller than me.He had short,h/c hair and e/c eyes with a familiar smile on his face. He wore a black zip-up hoodie showing his white graphic t-shirt underneath along with some khaki pants and black-and-white shoes.I couldn't help but smile.

Y/N:Huh,to think you'd be the same girl who dinked her head on that sign. Man, the world works in mysterious ways huh?
