It was the day of the second Squad Jam as I impatiently waited for Rabbit and her friend.Kise logged in and approached me as we waited for everyone else.

Kise: Where's LLENN and Fuka?

Azure: Rabbit said she's waiting for Fuka who apparently ate too much ice cream and has an upset stomach. Where's Maverick?

Kise: Said he was talking to someone but is already logged in.

Maverick:You know, you really didn't have to see me off like this.

Sinon:C'mon, it's the least I can do.

Sinon walked over to the nearby railing and looked at the SBC Glocken.

Sinon:Heh,it feels weird being back here. Makes me a little nostalgic, if i'm being honest.

Maverick leaned on the railing next to Sinon.There's a brief silence between the two before Maverick pushed himself off the railing and turned his head at Sinon with his joyous smile.

Maverick: Well, these teams need an ass-kicking and I'm the one to give it. So I'll be seeing you Sinon.

Sinon:Maverick?

Maverick:Yeah?

Sinon approached Maverick and hugged him.

Sinon: I'll be rooting for you.

Maverick returned the hug as it quickly broke due to time constraints.

Maverick: When you say things like that, I wonder if we're dating.

Sinon smiled at Maverick's remark with a joyous blush on her face.

Maverick:Adios Sinon.

Maverick two finger saluted Sinon as she watched him leave only for a heavy hand to land on her shoulder.

Kirito:Now ain't that romantic? Sinon is quite bold.

Asuna:Very much indeed. Dear Kirito. Sinonon, what would Liz and Leafa say if they caught you?

Sinon:*sigh*Of course you were both watching.....Lay off.

Maverick regrouped with the rest of the team as the three guys waited near the entrance.

Azure:?

Azure noticed two small green cloaked figures in full sprint they stopped before them revealing LLENN and Fuka.

Azure: Geez,any longer we would've had to go in as a three man squad.

LLENN:*pant*pant*Sorry!

Fuka: I...apologize!

Kise:Let's hurry on in. Game starts in two minutes.

The team now fully assembled headed into the lobby.

Fuka:Man, we really cut it close!

Azure:Uh......

LLENN:?

LLENN noticed Azure being frozen in astonishment but quickly noticed the fairly large crowd surrounding them.

Player 1:Look!There he is!Azure, the champion from last time!

Player 2:Looks like his friend is with him again!Wait....isn't that LLENN?

Player 3:It is!The runner-up from the last tournament!They got this in the bag! What a power team!

Azure's team navigated through the crowd hearing the multitude of comments coming from the players.

Fuka:Do you think we can get a drink in time?

Kise:Wasn't your stomach upset?

Fuka:It's fine! I already emptied out my stomach!

Kise:Uh.......

Pitohui:LLENN! Azure!

Pitohui jogged over to the two as she held her hand out to Azure.

Pitohui:Congrats on your win Azure!I forgot to tell you earlier.

Azure:Yeah.Thanks.

Pitohui:You did amazingly awesome as well LLENN!

LLENN:Thanks!

Pitohui held out her hands as Azure and LLENN shook them simultaneously before placed her hands on her hips,a competitive and sadistic smile grew on her face.

Pitohui:Things are gonna get serious.

Announcer:Teleport to the waiting area will be in one minute.Are all of your team members here?

Pitohui:Oh,looks like we don't have time for any chit-chat.

LLENN:Pito.

Pitohui:?

LLENN:Don't forget our promise.

Pitohui:I have no idea what you mean but,okay.Is there anything you want to say?

LLENN gave Pitohui a competitive smile.

LLENN:I swear I'll kill you.

Pitohui gave LLENN a little gesture and left.

Maverick:Yeah,I can't wear this.

Maverick unequipped his helmet,goggles,and balaclava.As he did,some players took notice.

Player 4:Hey,that guy looks familiar.

Player 5:You're right....hold up!

The player quickly pulled up a screenshot from the previous BoB tournament.

Player 5:It is!That's...that's Maverick!The newcomer that wiped the floor with those top players in the BoB tournament!

Player 4:No way!He's here?!

Maverick noticed he was getting looks from players before proceeding to equip a black beanie after a quick adjustment Maverick stretched his arms

Azure:LLENN.

LLENN:Yeah?

Azure:From this point on,this your show. This is your fight. Okay, squad leader?

LLENN took a quick moment to process what was happening before nodding.

LLENN:Let's do this,team!

Fuka:Yeah!

Kise:Got your six.

Azure:There's a win out there calling our name!

Maverick: Don't go dying on me now!

LLENN's team was teleported to the waiting area as the countdown began in front of them.

Announcer:The Satellite Terminal Scan is no longer an immortal object.Please take note of this.

LLENN looked at her team as they nodded.

LLENN and Fuka tossed their cloaks away as Azure racked the slide of his Deagle before holstering it and pulling his Scar out. Kise checked his mag in his sniper before putting it back in and pulling it back. Maverick inspected his weapons before taking a quick breath.

Maverick:Phew! This still really gets the blood pumping aye?

Kise:Definitely!

Azure:Same.

LLENN:Yeah.

Fukaziroh:Alright! I'm count on ya, "Rightony" and "Leftania!"

LLENN:Who?

Fuka:They're the name of my guns.

LLENN:They don't look any different.

Fukaziroh:Yeah.

LLENN:So how do you know which gun is "Rightony" and "Leftania"?

Fuka:It's simple! When I have them both,the one in my right hand is Rightony. I wonder what kind of equipment everyone will be using!

Azure:M will most likely be using the same weapon and sniper shield from before. Kise can punch right through that so no problem with that. As for Pito, well,who knows.

Maverick:Ah enough of all that.From now,no more doubts and no looking back!Let's kill Pitohui and the other opposition so we can claim our place as the SJ champions!

Everyone glanced at Maverick and nodded.

Announced:Second Squad Jam!Game start!

The black void disappeared showing the surroundings.They spawned in the ruined neighborhood.

Fuka:LLENN!Look at that!

LLENN:That's the field boundary.It surrounds the entire map.Which means we're in the furthest corner.

LLENN crouched down as everyone huddled together aside from Kise who was keeping watch.

Azure:Hm...maybe we should find a vehicle.

Fuka:Maybe we can get a choo choo train to run?

LLENN:And where would we go?

Fuka:To a bigger town. Where we could shop for new clothes.

LLENN:Sure,let's do that after I kill Pito.

Fuka:Affirmative!

Azure:So we're in the neighborhood part of town.

Maverick:Where should we go?

LLENN:The hill area could be dangerous. Kise could set up shop but a team most likely spawned there and is dug in. It's heavy sniper territory. Below that is a stadium.

Fuka:Were they always that big?

Azure:I wouldn't be surprised.This is supposed to be Earth in the future.

Maverick:Yeah,it's like a mix of Metro and Fallout.

Fukaziroh:Huh what's that?

Maverick:Really? No one knows these games?Ugh....never mind...

LLENN:I wonder what that landmark is though.

Azure:Looks like a house icon so it could be a school,apartment complex,or some kinda lodge.Those are my best guesses.

LLENN:Then below that is the rocky mountain range.Fuka, did you get it all memorized?

Fukaziroh:I'm supposed to remember all that? In ALO,I was flying all around. I didn't need a map.

Azure:It's fine.There's four of us who got it memorized.

Maverick:Pfft.....Okay,Axel.

Azure:?

Maverick:Ah,it's nothing.

LLENN closed the map and stood up.

LLENN: Azure, I want you on point. Kise,on our six.Maverick, I don't know how you play so go with whatever fits you. Fuka,if you ever get lost just callout and hang tight,got it?

Fuka glanced at her friend's super seriousness and nodded awkwardly.

LLENN:It's 13:04.The first satellite scan will happen soon which will ascertain if this is a safe place. After that,we'll see where Pito is and avoid enemies until we reach her. Then,I will give everything to kill Pitohui!
