You and Friends Aquired a Hippogriff

Tapping Hermione and pointing at the ferrets just as the door to Hagrid's home opened you felt your stomach twist as you leapt forward and grabbed the chain to help Harry pull Buckbeak to no avail. "Excuse me, Minister. I believe I must sign as well." Dumbledore said, making Fudge nod and turn to him just as he was about to see the three of you.

Staining to pull the hippogriff up and onto his feet you looked over to Hermione when she grabbed your shoulder to quickly bow golightly as to not offend him before she dangled a dead ferret before Buckbeak. "Here, Beaky...Come and get the nice dead ferret...yum yum." She hissed just as Harry looked at her as if she'd gone mad, but just then Buckbeak was up on his feet in moments tripping you and Harry up at the sudden slack in the chain falling back with a quiet oof.

Harry quickly stood and easily helped you up just as fast, making you, Harry, and Hermione start to hurriedly lead Buckbeak away when the back door suddenly opened. making the three of you freeze thinking that you all were caught just as Fudge's eyes drifted your way, when just like before Dumbledore raised his hand and directed the attention of the others away from Buckbeak and to the blackberries that were planted several feet away on a hill. "Professor Dippet had those blackberries planted when he was Headmaster."

Dumbledore said as Hermione and Harry started to shoo Buckbeak along with you quickly following behind as the four of you disappeared into the forest just as Dumbledore concluded his reverie. Shaking his head as he turned seemingly becoming fed up with this ordeal. "Let's get this over with, shall we?" Fudge asked, gesturing the executioner forward. Silently praising the low hanging branches covering your group you all watched as the executioner approached the pumpkin patch and stopped at the lack of hippogriff at the post.

Covering your mouth to keep quiet as the executioner's confusion quickly turned to anger as he turned back to the three men on the porch. "But, where is it? I just saw the beast not moments ago, Hagrid?" Fudge asked, turning to the half giant bearded man as he murmured Buckbeak's nickname. Making the hippogriff behind you strain at his tether and whimper eerily wanting to be by Hagrid's side.

Making Hermione toss him another ferret to keep him quiet. "How extraordinary!" You heard Dumbledore say, making you try and get a better peek as Cornelius who turned to him eratibly. "Come now, Dumbledore. Someone's obviously released him." He said as Hagrid tried to defend himself. "Professor, I swear! I didn't-" Hagrid started making the older wizard smile a bit and raise his hand in a calming manner.

"I'm quite sure the Minister isn't suggesting that you had anything to do with it, Hagrid. How could you? You've been with us all along." Dumbledore said reasurdly as Fudge turned to him. "We should search the grounds." He started making the silver bearded Headmaster turn back to him with a quizzical look in his eye. "Search the skies if you must, Minister. In the meantime, I wouldn't say no to a cup of tea, Hagrid. Or a large brandy."

Dumbledore said moving to enter the hut again when he paused to turn to the Executioner semi happily. "It seems your services will no longer be required." Dumbledore said happily, making the angered hooded man lift his blade and with a brutal fury plunge it into the flesh of a pumpkin with a sickening chop and squelch sound, making the crows scatter to the skies.

"Hey, Hagrid worked hard to raise those! Don't chop 'em up!" You hissed, making Harry cover your mouth quickly as he and Hermione began to race through the trees as Buckbeak loped easily behind eyeing the ferrets around the bushy haired girl's neck wanting another snack. "Well what do we do now?" You asked as the three of you slowed down to a brisk walk as Hermione turned to you in a serious manner.

"We save Sirius." She said simply as the three of you came to the edge of the forest, making Harry turn to her with a raised brow curiously. "And we do that...how?" He asked, making Hermione turn to him as she dropped her shoulders with a semi helpless look written on her face. "No idea." Was her answer when you spotted the Whomping Willow in the distance.

Sorry for the bit of hiatus. I'm currently working on transcribing the order of phoenix script into an editable document. And it's taking me bloody forever to do and making me not want to write. But I'm pushing through, and I'll try and get more pages out for this and my other stories.
