Walking alongside Harry back to his common room you were still upset and frowning at Lupin's departure as Harry patted your shoulder. “It’s okay. Lupin’s going to be okay. He said so himself.” Harry said coming up to the fat lady’s portrait and absent mindedly said the password as you sighed. “Yeah, but you heard him. People don't trust Werewolves, it’ll be-” You started when you walked into Ron loudly shouting amid a circle of excited Gryffindors.

“Stand back, I said! I'll take it upstairs if you don't settle!” He said making you and Harry curiously look to Hermione who had spotted the both of you entering the room before she loudly cleared her throat, making the others turn, and begin to all speak at once. “Harry! Wherever did you get it!” Neville said as Seamus butted in with. “Can I have a go on it, Harry? After you, of course!” Making Ron shout “Quiet!” 

Easily shushing the room as he smiled. “Thank you. Let the man through.” He ordered as Harry mystified by the sudden excitement, stepped forward. Making the boys peel away, clearing his view of the broomstick in Ron's hands. Following behind Harry to see what the whole commotion was about you saw the label on the broom gleam with the words "FIREBOLT" on it. “Whose is that?”

Harry asked, making everyone in the room laugh thinking Harry was joking. “Whose is it? It's yours, mate.” Ron said, lifting the broom up for Harry to take. “Who? But...How?” He asked, taking the broom from the freckled ginger, still staring at the pretty broom as Hermione smiled a little. “It's a mystery. Though...this fell out of the wrapping.” She said holding up a long silverish feather, that made a grin break out over your face instantly knowing who sent the broom while Harry squinted at the feather.

“That's a Hippogriff feather-” He started but cut himself short before glancing at you and then Hermione to share a secret knowing look, also knowing who then sent the broom to him. “Well, whoever sent this broom must’ve known that I was in desperate need of a new broom. Guess I should test it out huh?” He asked, making the room burst with agreement.

Sprinting along with your friends and their housemates through the halls and out through the courtyard. You helped throw the doors open for Harry as he went to a clear area wanting to mount his broom. Spotting Hagrid, Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle joining the massive group you grinned at their curiosity to see what the commotion was all about. As Harry stopped, making everyone go quiet, the moment hanging over everyone.

“Go on, Harry.” Seamus said eagerly, making Neville bob his head up and down excitedly “Yeah. Let's see!” He said as Harry mounted the broom, licked his finger and jabbed it in the air. Testing the wind as several others did the same including Hagrid along with Crabbe and Goyle which earned them a sharp slap upside the heads by Malfoy before he smacked their hands down.

Finally, Harry placed his hand on the broom, setting his grip. Watching your friend take a deep breath you found yourself doing the same when Harry suddenly frowned when nothing happened. “What's wrong?” You heard the twins say as they came up behind you looking eagerly at Harry as he turned to the massive group. “I don't think it works. I think it's defective.”

He said sadly, getting a collective groan from everyone. Frowning as you looked at the broom as everyone dejected at the disappointment began to drift toward the castle. When Harry called after them, saying. “Oh, come on now. It's just a broom.” Making you look up at the wild haired boy and see a mischievous gleam in his eyes as Hagrid nodded sagging at the disappointment. “Just a broom.” He agreed.

Seeing Harry look at Ron and Hermione then at you with a small growling smile and a wink. As he continued loudly. “The fastest broom in the world!” Making everyone spin around and in an instant Harry was streaking through the sky. Faster than ever before. Laughing with everyone as you all watched Harry, you laughed more when you heard him release a scream in joy, utterly abandoning himself in the moment.

And that's a wrap on Book Three! Boy did this take forever! And sorry about that, I found myself looking for the other movie scripts to continue this series. Order of Phoenix really gave me the slip. I had screenshot pages and write them out into an editable document! And I know I shouldn't use that as an excuse for not writing for this or my other stories. But now that, thats done and over with back to writing for everything else!
