Oh Boy

Walking until your small party came to an abrupt stop at the tunnel you curiously turned to Sirius when he nodded his head to a small opening above you. "Guess the only way out is up then." You muttered carefully unwrapping Ron's arm from around your neck as you moved to help him up first. "No! I'm not going first! I'm not going to leave you down here with that thing!" Ron hissed pointing at the large dog that had bitten him as Sirius growled annoyedly at him. "Ron you're hurt, you wouldn't be able to support my weight on that leg. You go up first and I'll follow after."

You ordered giving the tall ginger a hard look as he gave a pleading worried look back before sighing and looking away. Putting your back to the stone walk for support you nodded as Ron grimaced when he put all his weight on his bitten bloody leg to step up onto your laced fingers. Hurriedly hoisting Ron up, you glanced at Sirius wondering how he was going to get up there when he nudged his head for you to go next.

Nodding you jumped to grab the sides before pulling yourself up into a room with peeling wallpaper, stains that suspiciously looked similar to dried blood splotches on the floorboards, and shattered furniture lying strewn everywhere. "Are, Are we in the Shrieking Shack?" You asked, staring wide eyed for a moment, when Ron yelled "Watch out!" and pulled your arm just as Sirius jumped from the opening in the floor. Landing on Ron's wound when he pulled you, you muttered an apology when Ron groaned in pain and bent forward as if to curl in a ball.

Feeling Sirius bump your back you turned to him as he nodded to the stairs. Carefully standing and bringing Ron with you, you glanced at Scabbers who looked scared out of his mind. "How easy would it be if I took you out of Ron's hands and threw you against the wall with all my might?" You wondered wrapping Ron's arm around you again. "Let's head up stairs." You said making a move to head over to the stairs when Ron didn't move.

"No! We should be trying to get out! Not go further into the house!" He yelled when Sirius growled jumping forward to ram into him and force him forward. Staggering to hold Ron's weight off his bag leg when he stumbled you let an aggravated sigh out. "Are you trying to get bitten and dragged like a rag doll again?" You argued making the freckled ginger tense for a second before sighing in defeat and let you lead him up the stairs.

Following Sirius as he leads you down a dark hallway you found yourself in a dark old bedroom. And from the shadows you and Ron watched as the large black dog shifted into a human form that made Rons blood run cold as he stared wide eyed at the escaped convict that moved to light a couple oil lamps. Feeling Ron move to tightly hold you in his shock you grimaced as he made it hard to breath.

Pulling at Ron's arm to make him loosen his hold you moved him to the bed to get him off his wounded leg when he suddenly moved in a flash and gripped your arm painfully. "(First/Name) you have to run and warn Harry! I'll try and keep him away from you as long as I can!" Ron whispered urgently when you twitched from his grip on your arm as your shoulders sagged. "Not gonna happen. Now sit still I need to wrap your leg before it gets worse."

You said taking off your shirt to rip and tear it into stripps so you could tend to Rons bite wound. Utterly shocked at your complete calmness. "What are you talking about!? He's going to kill Harry! He's going to kill us if we don't get out of here and the first thing you want to do is bloody rip your shirt to wrap my leg, are you bloody mad?!" Ron yelled as he gripped your shoulders as you turned back to him. "Ron. Sirius isn't going to hurt us now calm the hell down. And you! I cant believe you bit and dragged Ron like a rag doll! What the bloody hell man?"

You said before yelled as you turned to actually scold the thin looking ex-convict as he turned to look away from you trying to act semi innocent as you squinted at him as Ron stared in shock and confusion at the two of you. Frowning at Sirius as he kept looking everywhere but at you, you tsked and accidently tied a knot just a little too tight and made Ron flinch in pain. Turning to him to apologise you both jumped when the door was suddenly kicked open. Whirling around you gaped at both Harry and Hermione as they stood in the doorway.

"Ron! (First/Name) You're both okay!" Hermione said immediately, turning to you and Ron as Harry turned as well, looking for the dog that had bitten and dragged his friend here. "The dog, where's the-" Harry started when Ron, still shocked from your seemingly friendly interaction with Sirius fully snapped out of it to shakily point at the man across the room as your two friends came to your side.

"He's the dog. It's a trap, Harry. He's an Animagus." Ron said as Harry finally noticed that the dog paw prints in the floors dust shifted to human footprints before taking notice of the man keenly studying him as a slightly mad smile started to cross his face as Harry went for his wand. While Hermione stepped in his way to protect him. "If you want to kill Harry, you'll, you'll... Have to kill us, too!" She yelled as Sirius's smile turned a mad grin, reminding you that his mind still needed healing from the damage done during his time in Azkaban.

"No. Only one will die tonight." Sirius said make the room feel heavy and tense at the murderous intent as Harry glared and moved to jump forward. "Then it'll be you!" He yelled angrily as you stood to try and stop him. "No, wait! Harry just listen!" You yelled worriedly grabbing the back of Harry's jacket when you and Sirius turned to the door when faint footsteps came from the floor below, just as Sirius turned back to Harry with the same grin as before but a bit more cautiously. "Going to kill me, Harry?" He asked, tilting his head a little as Harry glared daggers at him as he growled. "Yes."
