Peering at the Whomping Willow you saw yourself dive down the opening following after Ron and Sirius. Rubbing your nose absently you watched as Harry And Hermione struggled with the willow. Wincing as Hermione rode one of the branches. "How did you hang on that long?"

You asked, making the bushy haired girl grimace and shake her head just as her double grabbed onto Harry to throw him down the opening. "Oh nice shot." You mumbled as double Hermione disappeared down the hole next. When a figure suddenly approached the tree next.

"Look. It's Lupin." Hermione said, pointing to the said man as the Whomping Willow began to thrash, making Lupin take up a stick, and poke a knot on the trunk. Instantly, the Willow calms down and stills. Squinting at the still tree. "Why couldn't we of known that earlier." You huffed as Harry smiled a little as he turned to you.

"Wait until Fred and George hear about that one." He said, making you giggle at the thought of the twins using that new information for their devious plans. When Hermione suddenly pointed. "Here comes Snape." She said making you and Harry turn just as Lupin disappeared into the gap at the base of the tree, when Snape made his way down the slope.

"And now we wait." Harry muttered sitting back as the three of you watched the tree in the distance. Sitting against a tree you had your eyes closed while listening to the creatures of the night slowly wake. Hearing bats begin to screech, you opened your eyes to see where they were when you watched Buckbeak snag one out of the air.

Smiling at the hippogriff as the bat disappeared down his throat you turned to Hermione as she said. "Least someone's enjoying himself." Stretching stiffly you blinked when Harry broke a couple pieces of chocolate to hand to you and Hermione.

"Thanks." You said turning back to Buckbeak to watch him enjoy the forest critters. Standing and walking over to him you smiled as the hippogriff lowered his head to let you pet him. "You're such a handsome boy, how could Malfoy get you executed? It was Draco's fault he got hurt." You said lightly petting Buckbeak's feathers as he nudged your cheek.

"(Y/N)! Here we come." You heard Hermione call, making you quickly trot back to them with Buckbeak in tow. Watching multiple shadows emerge under a full moon covered by the clouds you squinted at the figure that was Peter. "You see Sirius talking to me? He's asking me to come live with him."

Harry said, pointing himself and Sirius out as you smiled. "He told me that was the first thing he wanted to do after meeting you." You said getting a small wistful smile from Harry. "When we free him, I'll never have to go back to the Dursleys. I'm going to tell him I'd like to live someplace in the country. I think he'd like that, after all those years in Azkaban. We don't need a big place and I can help him."

Harry started turning to you knowing that you had spent more time with Sirius when a howl made the two of you look back over to the Willow. "It's happened. Lupin's transformed." Hermione said as anger flashed over Harry's face. "Which means Pettigrew is slipping safely into the night. While we just stand here."

"Hey I tried to go after him! But Lupin ran into us and while I was trying to stay alive he got away!" You said trying to defend yourself as the three of you ran through the woods to get closer. Watching as Lupin and Sirius fought in animal form you grimaced at the vicious assault. When you saw double Harry hurl stick at Lupin.

"And I thought I was insane." You thought as Lupin turned and snarled at double Harry beginning to creep closer to him, when you heard "OWWWWWWWWW!" Coming from your right making you wheel around to see Hermione, hands cupped to her mouth, making a loud howl. "What are you doing?!" You hissed as Harry covered her mouth. Forcing Hermione to smack his hand away. "Saving Harry's life!"

She snapped back, making you and Harry look back at the tall grass. The werewolf is frozen. As before, it begins to approach Harry again. Making Hermione cup her mouth again. "OWWWWWWWW!" This time, you and Harry don't stop her. "Thanks. But we have to move." Harry said, backing away slightly making you and Hermione curiously turn to him. "Why?"

You both asked at the same time. Making Harry gesture back over to the grass. "Because that werewolf you just called is running right this way." He said simply making you and the bushy haired girl glance at each other before bolting alongside Harry. Sprinting you hid behind a huge tree as Harry and Hermione hid behind another tree. Holding your breath as the werewolf paused a few steps away from your friends tree, you silently watched as they side stepped away from Lupin.

"Buckbeak. We've got to find him." You heard Hermione whisper as you leaned out to look at them when you froze. Fifteen feet away from the three of you the werewolf sat waiting, poising itself, preparing to pounce. "Guys don't move." You said making Harry and Hermione freeze as they followed your gaze.

When you heard a screech that made the three of you flinch just as Buckbeak charged into the clearing. Making the werewolf snarl furiously and charge at you or the others. But with lightning-fast reflexes, Buckbeak reared back and his claws slashed the air only inches from Lupin's face. Making the werewolf stop, eyes glittering with rage, then howl at the hippogriff before vanishing into the forest.

"Poor Professor Lupin is having a really tough night." Hermione said as you grimaced and sucked in a breath through your teeth. "Yeah he is. I mean he's about to run into me. And I sent him flying into a tree and knocked him out." You said as Harry and Hermione stared wide eyed at you. "What? I told you I lost Pettigrew because I had to fight off Lupin." You said as the two looked at each other before turning back to you.

"You do know, had he bitten you at all, you would've become a werewolf?" Hermione asked as you huffed and crossed your arms. "Yes I know. We had the same class together. But I wasn't, so there's that." You said as Harry shook his head when he suddenly stiffened.
