Darkness consumed a large room somewhere no one knows, the only lights that illuminating the place are lights from several monitors and pods, where anyone could see a person sleeping on each inside.

These people were known as Remnants of Despair; people who leads the destruction of the world in the name of Despair.

They're not just sleeping, their minds are inside of Shin Sekai Program for Hope Restoration Program but instead Monokuma invaded their peaceful School Trip and started a Killing Game.

After of so much despair and belief in invincible hope, five survivors will wake up soon.

"POD #1 opening, please refrain from making any movement, to avoid unnecessary injuries." Announced of mechanical voice.

And soon just like what the announcement have made one of the pods lift it's cover.

The person sleeping inside opens his eyelids, showing crimson target pupils; he let his eyesight adjust on his surrounding. Then slowly and carefully pushes his body to sit up and again adjusted his sight.

The man is known as one of Remnants of Despair, and amidst them he is the leader, not that he acknowledge it. Oh by the way he is called Kamukura Izuru, Hope's Peak Academy's Ultimate Hope, how ironic, that he become Ultimate Despair instead.

Kamukura Izuru is actually Hinata Hajime, a Reserve Course Student that signed in for Kamukura Project, leading him to such a predicament. For unknown number of talents the scientists deleted his memories, persona and everything that would identify him as Hinata Hajime.

But thanks to Shin Sekai Program Hinata Hajime has recovered his identity but... did he able to bring those things important details of him back to the real world?

Kamukura or Hinata unconsciously grip his right hand, then he felt something on his palms.

He lifted his hand and open it; lying silently on his palm is the ever-so familiar hair pin.

'How?' How such a thing that supposedly only existing inside the program ended on his hand?

Like waves, all of his school memories splashes on his mind. Everything, everyone. From the moment he set foot in Hope's Peak Academy's Reserve Course Building, to the moment he finally agreed to partake in the school's project, 'till her final breath.

His mouth shaken, and to stop it he bit his bottom lip.

He finally remember.

Nanami Chiaki, the Ultimate Gamer.

His first friend from Main Course.

The person who told him having a talent doesn't matter, it's not the end goal.

The person he wanted to be proud of him.

The real Nanami Chiaki.

Tears started to well up on his eyes, causing for his eyesight to get blurry.

It went out nonstop at the same time his feelings starts choking him.

He remember that he actually there and witness her final moments. Her selflessness, her wish for her classmates and for him, and her fear realizing she really going to die.

He was there, and yet he couldn't--no, that's wrong, he didn't done anything to save her.

Hinata could hear little sobs close by--no actually it's him. Tears are flowing like a waterfalls; strongly, nonstop and full of emotions.

He grips the hairpin, his left hand grasp his right wrist and he brought his forehead to his right fist, as he continue crying for the truth about his dear friend.

He was crying nonstop.

He only can cry for her now.

All of the emotions that suppressed deep inside him, went out from his sobs and tears.

He can't go back in time and change everything.

He was there crying like a little child.

Crying without any intention of stopping.

Crying without minding about Naegi and the others who witnessing his mess.

Hinata is there crying his heart's out.

I got this idea while rewatching Danganronpa 3 Mirai-Hen, while Hinata is talking to Mitarai (The person thinking he is the Main Character, LOL) .

A flash of question about Hinata's feelings when he remembers Chiaki's final moments.

Did he cry?
How did he cry?
What his first reaction finding Chiaki's pin on his hand?
