Black and Nate flew to the frigate first, with Hugh following them from behind. Bianca mentioned catching up with them after informing Team Plasma about the plan. Despite the plans, Anthea and Concordia persuaded N to check the frigate to ensure Kyurem is not on the ship. Once he has the idea, he'll fly to the Giant Chasm without question.

"Alright, let's break through these criminals!" Hugh exclaimed, rushing ahead with his Unfezant.

He landed on the frigate and sent out his Samurott to fight the grunts. Hugh was followed by Black, who sent out Sceptile, and Nate, who sent out Emboar. Together, they fought the majority of the grunts, allowing N to sneak past and break through the inside of the frigate with Concordia and Anthea.

"We need to cover more ground. The faster we learn of Kyurem's whereabouts, the better the results," Concordia suggested.

"Hurry, my Lord. Have our friends battle by your side," Anthea urged.

N nodded and ran in the opposite direction of the women. As more grunts confront him, he brought out Zoroark who assisted N in breaking through the waves. He ran into one room after the other, only to continuously battle grunt after grunt.

Then, N barged into one room, only to be met with one of the Sages: Zinzolin. The Sage sat on a bed as if he had expected N to barge in.

"N, if you had been an obedient boy, you could've ruled alongside your father! What an ungrateful brat you are," he spat.

"I will no longer be controlled by someone like him! I refuse to allow him to freeze Unova for his malicious fantasies!" N exclaimed.

"It must've been that intrusive trainer from two years ago—in fact, she no longer poses a threat to us. With the Champion no longer standing against us, we can safely rule all of Unova as we had intended two years ago!"

N was struck in pain from Zinzolin's proclamation. He rushed to the man who had once been on his side along with the other Sages, grabbing the collar of his thick purple jacket and shoved him to the wall nearby.

"What have you done to her!?" N screamed.

Immediately, Zinzolin's Cryogonal appeared behind N to restrict him, forcing the latter to release the Sage.

"You may be a traitor, but you can still be of use to Lord Ghetsis. Hand over Zekrom and I'll allow your lover to reunite with you," he offered to N.

For a moment, N was shocked at the offer. If White had not recorded the incident of her kidnapping, or if Cheren hadn't put the pieces together for N to understand Colress's motives with White, he would've taken the offer. After all, N wanted to be with White as much as he wanted to protect Pokémon—to protect White as how he would protect Pokémon from their abusive trainers.

'No, that's not the right thing. Touko would never forgive me if I handed Zekrom in exchange for her,' N thought to himself.

He stayed true to himself, choosing to believe in his heart and trust the fact White was still safe. N understood White's not the type of girl who would back down from her ideals. He had faith in White fighting against Neo Team Plasma, so N chose to do the same.

'I'm sorry to have you battle, but... please help me,' he prayed, grabbing the Pokéball White entrusted him with and bringing out the Pokémon inside.

The green serpentine Pokémon appeared and instantly understood the situation through a single glance. Her tail glowed light blue and she slammed it against Cryogonal, sending it to the ground while releasing N in the process.

"Thank you... Serperior," N muttered just loud enough for Serperior to hear.

The Pokémon nodded her head. 'Yes, but we need to focus on the battle. Allow me to fight, and I will show this fanatic to not look down on Touko!'

N had gotten used to White's Pokémon having that kind of determined stance, ready to fight for White whenever she needs them. It contrasted with his ideology two years ago, and he was relieved there were Pokémon like White's that exist, especially White's Pokémon themselves.

"I have faith in you, Serperior... Let's go save Touko together!"

"Delusional child... you will now witness the power of a true Team Plasma Sage! Cryogonal, use Ice Beam!"

As Cryogonal released a ray beam towards Serperior, White's most trusted starter Pokémon decided to release a beam of her element of her own. The two rays met which resulted in an explosion.

Black, Hugh, and Nate rushed inside the frigate to search for Ghetsis, who they knew where Kyurem was being held. They had defeated the waves of grunt that appeared on the deck of the ship. Nate speculated that Ghetsis would be in a secluded area within his ship.

"If Ghetsis pops out of nowhere, or if a Shadow Triad appears, we'd need each other's strengths to defeat them. I suggest sticking together for now," Black suggested, in which the other two agreed upon.

"Don't worry... I'm going to find Purrloin and bring it back to my sister," Hugh vowed in a mumbled tone, completely unheard by the other two.

As they searched the ship, they noticed some of the grunts had been defeated, noting that N was ahead of them. They continued to search the ship while battling more waves of grunts. As their Pokémon grew more tired, Black noticed Anthea and Concordia battling from the distance.

He assisted them with Sceptile and defeated the grunts giving the sisters a hard time.

"Anthea, Concordia, please check up on our Pokémon. We're not sure where Ghetsis is located," Black informed them.

Anthea nodded. "Leave your Pokémon with us. We will treat them as you and the others continue forward."

"As for Ghetsis, we heard from the other grunts that there was a Command Center in the northern part of the ship. Perhaps Ghetsis is located there," Concordia added.

"Perfect! Thanks, Anthea, and Concordia! Come on, guys! I'm going to beat up that guy for taking Purrloin away from my sister!" Hugh exclaimed, leaving his Samurott's Pokéball in Concordia's hands before sprinting north.

Nate sighed at Hugh's rash behaviour, handing over his Emboar to Anthea before following Hugh.

"Thank you," Black thanked the foster sisters.

"It is our pleasure to be of assistance. As you can see, we are not experienced—certainly not fond of the concept of battling. We hope you will find Wh—Touko, and bring her back safe and sound," Anthea responded.

He nodded and handed over Sceptile's Pokéball.

"Also, Black, we wish to thank you for taking care of N's Zorua. Zorua had evolved into a wonderful Zoroark under your care and was delighted to see N again," Concordia added.

"Yeah, I owe N that. I'm going to bring my sister back, so N should be prepared to take care of her for his entire life once we take down Neo Team Plasma."

The two women nodded back, watching the superstar strut away with burning confidence.

Cryogonal laid defeated on the ground, as the proud Serperior gazed down upon her fallen opponent. Zinzolin was stunned at the power he witnessed from Serperior. His body continuously trembled as Serperior slithered back to N's side.

"Now, where is Colress? I know Touko is with him, so you didn't need to fool me," N asked, in a calm matter.

Zinzolin let out a huff of exhaustion. "Very well, Colress is in the Control Room in the southern section. However, I warn you, N. You're such a pitiful boy..."

N clenched his fists as Zinzolin continued.

"You've figured out Colress is the one holding the Champion captive, so you must know that we are now divided amongst Team Plasma. You better hurry, N..." Zinzolin chuckled like a madman. "Kyurem... a Pokémon with legendary powers. Ghetsis, or Colress? Who do you think will win? Ha... the answer is so obvious. With the Champion on his side—"

In a flash, a Shadow Triad appeared beside Zinzolin and knocked him out cold. N recognized him as the same Shadow Triad member who had appeared in front of him in Chargestone Cave. After he understood Zinzolin was no longer conscious, the Shadow Triad member approached N with light steps.

"My Lord, he is correct in stating the Champion is inside the Control Room with Colress, but Lord Ghetsis lays in the Command Room, which is in the Northern section of the frigate. Where will you go?"

N didn't need to think. He motioned Serperior to follow him out of the room, never looking back at the Shadow Triad. He won't be fazed by others anymore.

"Neither. I'm going to meet Colress at the Giant Chasm."

"Are you going to battle him there?" the Shadow questioned.

He stopped for a moment in front of the door, yet refusing to turn back to the Shadow Triad member.

"Two years ago, Ghetsis was the one who did the most to sustain my ideal in forcing Trainers to release their Pokémon. Now it's Touko who's using herself to protect me. Anthea and Concordia sheltered me for years before the coronation. Black raised Zorua in my absence... I can't let more people do the work for me. I will give back to everyone who had helped me through a lot of moments, and I'm going to start with Touko."

After N left the room, the other two Shadow Triad members had appeared beside their leader, gazing at the door N had closed. With a nod, they teleported back to a particular room, where the two maidens tended to the tired Pokémon.

The leader stepped forward, whereas Anthea rose to her feet from her crotched position.

"It is done," he spoke.

Feeling relieved, Anthea turned to Concordia with a smile and placed her hands over the leader's palms.

"Thank you... Please take care of yourselves, all of you. That is... all we ask..." Anthea breathed with a smile.

The leader carefully placed one of his palms over Anthea's hands, nodding to her final request.

"Never shall we meet again, Anthea... Concordia... and to our former Lord N as well."

After his words, the Shadow Triad leader untangled himself from Anthea's grasp and stepped back towards his fellow members. Concordia stepped forward to stand beside her sister, gazing upon the Shadow Triad. All five of them knew they couldn't stay together.

The Shadow Triad were completely loyal to Ghetsis, and the two foster sisters were loyal to N. They were on opposite sides, where each of them knew this would be the last act of kindness they see from each other, and yet they stare at each other as if they didn't want things to end.

However, fate was not on their side. Every story had its ending.

"... ...Farewell."

The Shadow Triad leader muttered his last words to his two former allies, disappearing along with his fellow Shadow Triad. The two women's gazes never left the spot where the Shadow Triad had stood. From that point, in order to not avoid risk in doubt and hesitation, they painfully cleared their heart of them.

No longer will Anthea hold fingers meant to hurt with such delicacy, and no longer will Concordia gaze at them with formalities.

The truce ended there.

The three male trainers had defeated Ghetsis who was standing in the Command Room. Black had no trouble holding on his own, and with Nate and Hugh's assistance, they were able to defeat all of Ghetsis's Pokémon. The Team Plasma leader was shocked, to say the least.

He couldn't believe he had been beaten by Trainers ever since two years ago.

"No! I refuse to accept this defeat! How could I lose to unknown trainers not once, but twice!? You—" Ghetsis angrily pointed directly to Black. "It was your sister that had beaten me, wasn't it!? And now it had to be you, along with two other hooligans!"

"Save your breath! Where's Purrloin!?" Hugh demanded.

"Here's a better question: where is my sister!? Where is Touko!? Where are you keeping her!?"

Ghetsis clicked his teeth. "I don't have your stupid Pokémon. As for the Champion, I do not know where she is! If she was here, she'd have beaten me before you, don't you think?"

"Liar! Zinzolin and Colress both kidnapped her! We have recorded evidence that Neo Team Plasma plans on using her for your personal gains! I will repeat myself; where is she!?" Black exclaimed in an angrier tone, so frustrated that he'd have punched Ghetsis's face if Nate had not been in the room.

"I don't know what you're talking about! What kidnapping!? Damn it! It must be that blasted Colress! I knew he'd turn against me!"

A chuckle was heard behind Ghetsis. Colress's hologram stood behind Ghetsis, at a size almost doubled his height. In the image, Colress was seated in the chair Ghetsis used in his personal ward where he'd watch Kyurem.

"You finally realized, Ghetsis? Yes, I had planned against you. I disagree with your ideology of controlling Unova through freezing everything. In fact, I disagree with it so much that I plan on doing that exact idea to further study the true capabilities Kyurem has."

"You treacherous man! This is how you repay me after letting you join and be a boss in Team Plasma!? I will not let you ruin my plans!"

His proclamation sent Colress into a fit of laughter.

"Tsk, tsk. You know better than to challenge me, Ghetsis, especially now that I have a secret weapon. I see the other mediocre trainers are there, so I'm sure you and they are familiar with her."

In an instant, Beheeyem appeared, having teleported a familiar face. Black's heart clenched at the sight he was seeing, having needed to stabilize himself with Nate's assistance—even Nate couldn't imagine the sight he was seeing.

Beside Colress's hologram stood White, wearing a white Team Plasma female garment, staring at them with soulless eyes.

"T-Touko... Hey... are you okay?" Black choked in sobs, receiving no response in return.

Hugh's fingers trembled as he clenched onto his Pokéball, for the first time fearing for the outcome.

"White has become such a useful tool. I would've had her aid you, Ghetsis, but I had recognized how much her grace and beauty—not to mention her Pokémon's strength—does not fit your character. 'So why not make her of better use?' I told myself. She's my assistant now. Your words will not reach her, so don't bother trying."

Black couldn't bear the thought of White being a mind slave. He knew deep down White was still fighting Colress's control. However, he also couldn't bear the thought of his sister being in pain in the process. In the end, Black realized how powerless he really was. He could do nothing but clench his fists, holding in his tears that he planned to shed when White receives her happy ending.

Hugh and Nate didn't know what to do. They stared at the Champion who was now under Colress's control. Nate noticed how the metal banner on her head was faintly blinking a colour, which tells him there was a control source somewhere. However, it was very likely it was in Colress's hands.

"Now that we recognize a few things, pardon me as I will continue on with my plan. White, please send Kyurem to our other base," Colress commanded.

Without hesitation, White approached the control panel and began pressing buttons. Black couldn't watch her do something the real White would never do, so he sent out Mushrarna to stop her with Psychic.

Sensing this immediately, White turned around and sent out Lucario before she was lifted into the air.

"L-Lucario..."Black muttered.

Colress smirked at the scene that unfolded in front of him.

"Isn't this a good example of a family bond, Ghetsis? You could've used your son more if you had more control."

"Lucario, use Bone Rush," White spoke with no hint of hesitation in her voice.

Lucario was shocked to see Black in front of him, a sense of guilt washed his face before he summoned his signature staff. He slashed Musharna which released White, allowing her to continue fulfilling her mission.

"Lucario, it's me! Black! Touya! You have to stop this! I know White doesn't want this—"

"Oh but she does," Colress intervened, not trying to hide his satisfaction. "Why else isn't she communicating with you? Not even through your Pokémon?"

Black's breathing became heavier. "Liar... It's a lie..."

White finished implementing the codes on the panel, opening the hatch above Kyurem and the platform holding Kyurem rose up into the air and out of the ship.

"Lucario, return," White said, grabbing her Pokéball without much falter.

Lucario gazed at Black for a brief moment, hastily communicating with him before being sent back.

'Not White—Chasm—Control—'

After returning Lucario into his Pokéball, White accompanied Beheeyem, only to stop briefly for a moment at the sound of Colress's next command.

"Now that I mentioned it, we certainly don't want to have you interfering, Ghetsis. White, please take care of that nuisance."

White sprinted towards Ghetsis, proceeding to kick him in the stomach and send him backward. As his back got in contact with the wall, his Pokéballs for his Pokémon dropped. White picked all of them up before joining Beheeyem once again.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about me hurting her, Black. After all, even if I did, you wouldn't be able to do a thing. Many things are inevitable in life, such as accidents and results. That is the reality of humankind. White is... quite a delicate test subject, so I'll be extra  careful with her."

His hologram disappeared after his words, prompting Black to rush to the machine and have Musharna destroy it into pieces.

"Black, don't worry. It's clear Colress is controlling her. We don't have many leads on where he might be—"

"No..." Black interrupted. "Lucario managed to speak with me before he disappeared. He mentioned 'Chasm' and 'control'..."

"The Giant Chasm."

The Shadow Triad appeared behind the male trainers, confirming Black's information.

"Ghetsis is no longer stable enough to continue. He is no longer in control... you go to the Giant Chasm to confront Colress and end this chaos," the leader spoke.

"From there, you will face Kyurem at the place where it is at its strongest, where you will find what you are searching for," another member added, tossing a Pokéball at Hugh.

Hugh barely managed to catch it.

"From there, you will save or lose things... For goodbyes are permanent... Farewell!" the last member parted.

The Shadow Triad teleported away with Ghetsis in hand. Now armed with new information, the three trainers plan on bringing everything they've got into defeating Colress. Neo Team Plasma was defeated—it was time to stop Kyurem from freezing Unova.
