Seto's POV

I wake up and look at my ceiling not wanting to get up and face the day, the pain in my ribs has dulled but I know if I move it will become intense. I hear the creaking of the floorboards and the stairs that lead down here. I sit up groaning confused, my dad would never come down here so who is it?

I see my mother standing at the foot of the steps I stare at her "Morning Seto" she says in a quiet voice I say nothing I just stare at her. "Would you not stare at me like i'm a stranger please" "That's basically what you are to me" I say without thinking she looks hurt "Seto I know I may not always be there for you, but i'm still your mother" I stand up and go over to her ignoring the pain in my chest and body "You sure don't act like one" I say walking past her and upstairs.

I take a cold shower letting it numb my body, then I head back downstairs to get dressed "Morning Seto" I stop cold when I hear that voice I turn around to see my dad sitting at the table "Morning" I say unsure "Are you doing anything today?" he asks taking a sip of his coffee "I might head over to a friends later that's about it" "Okay well before that can you throw out the trash?" "Sure, let me just get dressed" I turn back around "Would you like coffee?" he asks "Umm sure, please" I answer.

I grab a plain black shirt with my cloak and headband, I'm about to head back upstairs when a necklace on my desk catches my eye. I walk over to it and pick it up, it was a tiny amulet with red and purple in it. I had gotten it for my birthday I take it and slip it on then quickly redo my headband and pull my hood over.

I go upstairs to see a cup of coffee waiting for me on the table next to my dad. I take it and sit down "So what are you and your friends going to be doing?" "Umm I don't know really" "Okay well you can stay out late tonight as long as your back before morning okay?" I nod my head and gulp. What's going on?! My dad was being nice to me, am I dreaming, okay calm down Seto approach this gently.

"You seem in a good mood this morning" I say my dad just chuckles "Yea I suppose I am, anyways you should probably go throw that trash then get on your way" he says standing up. He brings his hand to me I flinch but all he does is pull down my hood and ruffle my hair.

I sit confused not able to speak, I throw out the trash then walk out into the cold. I walk to a nearby park and without hesitation start running. This park was beautiful in the winter and I loved spending as much free time here as possible.

I stop at a familiar tree and stare at it before starting my journey upwards. "Hey you need me to call the fire department?" I hear someone ask I look down to see that boy Ty.

"Oh hey Ty" I say hopping to a lower branch so he wouldn't have to yell. I sit down and swing my legs back and forth. He finally recognises me and smiles "Oh hey Seto right?" I nod my head. "What're you doing up there?" he asks "Climbing, didn't feel like a day to walk" I explain.

He laughs at this "Okay well permission to come aboard?" he salutes I just laugh at him "Permission granted, come on up"

I stand up and walk over to where I got up, to give him a hand. "Thanks I probably would've fallen" he says grabbing my hand. I pull him up and guide him over to a higher branch we could sit on, and not be seen.

"I've sat here many times Ty and no ones every seen me that includes night watchmen who come to search the park" I say reassuring him. He smiles at me, he shivers a bit "Cold?" I ask "Just a bit, but I'm fine" I don't listen to him and unclipped my cloak.

"Seto no, I'm fine really" I ignore him placing the cloak over him, clipping it on, and pulling the hood up. I mess with my headband a bit pushing it up so my messy brown hair stays out of my face.

"Why do you always have that headband on?" Ty asks out of the blue "To keep my hair out of my eyes" "Why not just get a haircut?" I ponder this for a few moments "Maybe I will"

Ty leans his head against my shoulder "This okay?" I just smile and nod my head. "Ty I never properly thanked you for your help yesterday" "It was nothing"

I look over at him and pick his head up so he's facing me "It was something to me, so how about I thank you by buying you dinner sometime?" a blush forms on his face "Umm sure" he smiles at me.

We stared at each other for a while, before he started leaning in I mirrored his actions.

Buzz Buzz Buzz

I hear my phone go off and Ty stops moving "You should see who it is" I nod my head and pull out my phone

B- Seto!!!!!!! Where are you??

I quickly type a response, laughing a bit at his exclamations.

S- I'm at the park why?

B-U said you'd come over, so I was worried

S- I'll be over in a bit

I look over at Ty was I really going to abandon him for Brice?

S- Mind if I bring a friend?

B- Naw the more the merrier

I start to get up "Where you going?" Ty asks "We are going to hang out with some people" I correct.

I help him out of the tree and we land on the grass. "So where we going?" I looked around us, but it was early no one was really around. I grabbed Ty's hand and pulled him to where we were inches away from each other.

He blushes as I start to lean in he does the same. Our lips meet for only a few seconds. I smile at him he does the same. (You mad or Naw)

Time skip cause I Lazy

We walk to Brice's hand in hand. When we arrive I knock and the door opens to a very wet Brice. He smiled as soon as he saw us "Hey Seto, come on in" I lead Ty in and we go to the backyard to see everyone with squirters.

"Sorry we kinda got bored" he said smiling, I smile back at him. "So is this your friend?" he asks pointing to Ty "Yeah this is Ty" I pull the hood off and let go of his hand.

Brice extends his hand and Ty shakes it. "Well Seto I think it's time you met everyone" he runs over to the guys and starts talking to them.

Ty grabs my hand again "You okay?" I ask he shakes his head "I never told you, that I really don't like being around a lot of people" "They're harmless I swear" "Seto!" I turn around and all the guys stood in a line a army.

Brice started walking and pointing at the guys "This is Adam our designated goof off" Adam rolls his eyes at Brice then smiles at me "This is Mitch and Jerome are designated snipers" Mitch and Jerome both smile at me "This is Rob and Preston our designated distractions" I see a guy in a blue hoodie and another in a red and black shirt they both wave. "And finally this is Vikk and Lachlan our designated Fighters" they just smile.

"And guys this is Seto and Ty" we both wave. "So Seto ever have a water gun battle?" Mitch asks walking over to us. I just shake my head no, suddenly a water guns thrown my way "Well today you will" Jerome yells.

I grab Ty and rush him to the side "First your taking off my cloak second let's kick these guys asses" he smiles at me then unclips my cloak and sets it nearby. I'm about to run off with him when I realize I'm still wearing my necklace I carefully take it off and put it with my cloak before dodging water being shot after me by Adam.

After about an hour the guys were soaking including Ty while I sat by almost completely dry. "He's a fucking ninja I swear" Preston says panting. "No, I just know how to dodge and aim" I say which makes everyone laugh. Ty walks over to me "Thanks for letting me get hit" I smile at him "It was either you or me sorry" he hugs me getting me wet "Dammit Ty" I yell, causing the guys to erupt into more laughter.

We all start to head inside when Brice yells "Wait!" we all turn to him "Brice no need to yell mate" Lachlan says chuckling a bit "Well I really only meant for Seto to stop" Brice admits "Why me?" I ask walking back towards him "No reason" he says I see he has his hands behind his back "Brice?" he then tosses a bucket of water on me getting me drenched, and the guys begin to laugh their heads off. I just walk up to Brice and stare at him angrily, he just looks back at me with a scared expression. I grab a fistful of his shirt and pull him down to where he was eye level with me. I heard the guys whispering if they should do something, I just continue looking at him then push him back smiling "You get scared too easily" He just stares at me a while "Jesus your small, but terrifying" he comments smiling. Even separated when I came by "No one cross Seto he could kill you" Vikk said I just chuckle grabbing my cloak and necklace.

I got the first shower and came down in some of Brice's older brother's clothes. Ty had an extra pair in his bag as did everyone else so I had to borrow. Everyone was sat around the couch I took a seat next to Ty he smiled and cuddled up next to me. "Hey Seto mind playing something for us?" Brice asks holding his guitar "You play?" Rob asks I shrug "Sure I can play something" I sit on the couch and think of what song to play.
