Okay so I know my timeline is everywhere, but for the sake of the rest of this book it's gonna be a few days from thanksgiving now and that's where it's gonna take off now. Thanks everyone who reads this book you guys are awesome!!

Brice's POV

I wake up next to Seto and smile at him, I lean down and kiss his forehead. That wakes him up, and as he sits up he says a few simple words that scare me, "I made my decision last night" I sigh and look down, "Okay, well that didn't take long" I say trying to laugh, but I can't. "Seto, Brice?! Come down here please!" we hear my mom yell from downstairs. I get up and toss Seto an old t-shirt of mine, while he just keeps the pants he wore yesterday on, "We have to take you shopping at some point" I say, "No, we can just go to my house and pick up the clothes left there, I've been meaning to do that" he says. I walk over to him and kiss him obviously taking him by surprise, "What was that for?" he asks smiling at me, "That was for you just being you, I love you Seto" he smiles at me even bigger, "I love you too Brice" 

We head downstairs to see Seto's mom and two police officers, "What's up mom?" I ask, she smiles at us both, "Well boys Mrs. Sampson over here, has just informed me that since Seto isn't technically being fostered by me he has to go live at the orphanage" my eyes widen after hearing this, Seto just looks blankly at them both. "But mom can't we foster him?" I ask frantically, she frowns at me, "Brice you know we would love too, but it would take to long, and by then we would already be starting the trial for who Seto lives with" I sigh defeated. "I also have to see my mom at least once a day for at least an hour, so i'd have to live down there anyways" Seto says unexpectedly, I look at him confused, "Since when?" he looks at me with a frown, "I got a call yesterday from the court, while I was in the tree the judge explained everything, sorry I guess I forgot to tell you" 

Mrs. Sampson smiles, "Yes, and you spending time with me starts today, so chop chop Seto times a wasting" she begins to walk out the front door, but stops and turns back around. "Seto come on" he doesn't budge, "No, the order said I had to see you once a day he didn't set a time of day" she stares at him clearly shocked. She then fixes the big fur coat she's wearing and looks at him, "Fine then Seto, when will I see you?" he simply shrugs, "I don't know, maybe around 5 or 6" she looks at him as though he's lost his mind. She then exaggeratedly motions her arm towards our grandfather clock we keep in the hallway, "But Seto it's 10 right now that means I have to wait-" "About 8 hours" I say cutting her off. She stares at me and I just smile right back at her, "Fine, I'll see you at 5 Seto, also you'll be meeting with the people at the orphanage today" Seto rolls his eyes at her, "Got it, bye" with that she leaves taking the police men with her. 

After she leaves Seto sighs before rushing upstairs, I stare at my mom confused on what just happened, "Brice i'd go check on him" I just nod my head and head upstairs. I knock in the bathroom door and I hear Seto sniffling behind the door, that shatters my heart, just hearing him cry. "Seto? Can I come in?" I wait for an answer my hand resting on the doorknob, "Yea" I open the door to see Seto sitting in the corner of the bathroom against  a wall. He looks up at me with tears still in his  eyes, "Oh Seto" I open my arms and he runs into them burying his face into my chest. He cries into my  shirt soaking it with tears, but I could have cared less. After a while he stops and looks up at me, "Sorry, I  just can't deal with her" he says  anger present in his voice, I rub his back, "I know, but don't worry I won't let her do anything to you" he smiles up at me.

He leans forward and kisses me I melt into it, "Hey Bri-" I lean back to see my sister standing behind me her mouth wide open. I feel my heat stop as she stares at me, I open my mouth several times in an attempt to say something, but can't find the words to do so. She stares at me one last time before heading downstairs, "Wait!" I call out, but she ignores me heading into the bathroom downstairs. "This is all my fault" I hear Seto whisper I turn around and stare at him, "Hey no it's not, don't tell yourself that" he looks up at me again, "Okay" I sigh and look downstairs, "Do you wanna go get your clothes?" he nods his head. After I grab my keys and we're about to leave the door to the bathroom opens and my sister walks out. We all stare at each other for a while, "Listen about what happened up the-" she puts her hand up telling me to be quiet. It's silent again, "I'll be straight with you Brice," she starts, "I don't support this life choice of yours, but I won't go telling mom and dad, that's your responsibility" I nod my head, "Thanks" she looks at Seto before talking again, "Brice because of this I know you'll think it's unfair, but I won't be attending anything having to do with this, I'll barely consider you my brother after this, I'm sorry, but I  just don't support stuff like this" those words felt like being punched in the stomach.

After that she leaves upstairs and I breathe out the breathe I didn't know I had been holding, Seto grabs onto my hand, I look down at it, then at him, and smile. We get into my car, and it's a quiet car ride down to his old house. As we get there I see Seto's off in his own little world just looking at the house. I'm about to get out when Seto grabs my hand, I look at him, "What's up?" he looks at me, "I'm sorry about your sister" I shake my  head at him, "You don't need to be Seto, it's fine I promise" he stares at me before looking out at the window, "Do you remember the night you dropped me off here, the night you found out?" I look at the house and images of that night come to mind. I shake my head trying to get the images of Seto kneeling under his dads fists out of my head. "I do, why?" "Why'd you ask to be my partner?" he asks completely ignoring my question. I shrug, "Cause I guess I thought you  were interesting, you were like nobody I ever knew and I guess I wanted to know what made you tick" he looks at me. It's silent for a long time, so when Seto speaks it disturbed the peace a bit, but what he said disturbed me a lot more, "You know I sometimes wish you weren't there to protect me, cause if you weren't my dad would've killed me" that sends chills up my spine.

I shift in my seat and force his face to look at me, he has a completely blank face, "Seto are you telling me, you wish I wasn't there so you could've died?!" he looks at me and shrugs, "Well yea, I guess" I look at him completely confused, "Seto why?" he looks away again, "I guess cause I don't wanna deal with any of this anymore" that makes my heart stop completely, "What do you mean?" but I already knew what he meant. He looks at me before kissing me, I melt into it savoring ever moment of it, when we break off he starts talking again, "I really wanna kill myself now, more than ever" I stare at him hurt, confused, worried, and just plain angry. "That's not fair Seto!" he stares at me as I never usually yell, I don't even give him a  second to retort, "I will not let you just fucking die like that! I love you to god damn much to just lose you like that! And I thought you loved me too, but clearly not seeing how easy it would be for you to leave me!" he stares at me, and I sit there just breathing heavily. 

Tears appear in his eyes and my heart melts, I couldn't stand to see Seto cry no matter how mad I was at him. I get out of the car and walk over to the other side, I open his passenger door pulling him out and into a hug. He stands there crying, "I'm sorry, I just hate everything going on, and I just wanna leave here with you and never come back" I smile hearing this, "Believe me I do too" he stops crying and looks at me. "I love you Brice" I smile at him, "I love you too Seto" he hugs me again, "Brice promise me that you'll always love me" "I promise, and Seto?" he hums in response, "Promise you won't kill yourself" it's quiet for a while before I hear a soft, "I promise"

Just a little filler chapter to get you guys through the week, so the next few chapters are gonna be long, and really just filled to the brim with stuff needed to know for the story also sorry if I skip a few times just need to for the story.
