P.O.V. Frostwing

I sighed as I walked down the streets Eliza was preforming at somewhere tonight. As we were walking I sighed and looked at her. "How do I look Frost?" She asked looking at me.

"You look as beautiful as always," I said looking at her. When I said this she smiled and began to walk on stage. When she did I heard the crowd cheer and looked at her. She was always like this, she always had people adoring her wherever she went.

Not only would her death be untimely for her but it would also make all of her fans upset. Which why I can't let him get close to her. I then heard her start to preform and sighed as I looked up at the sky. We had net on a night very similar to this one.

Flashback

I was walking down the streets late at night. It had been a while since I last left this late at night. The stars were beautiful this time of night but not many people could see them in this town.

I was so distracted while walking that I hadn't noticed someone coming. We ran into each other and I was knocked onto the ground. When I looked up I saw a beautiful girl with short black hair and blue eyes.

"Oh sorry darling, I didn't see you there," she said as she offered me a hand.

"It's fine," I said as I took her hand. "It's not like I was watching where I was going either," I said as I stood up. She smiled hearing this and looked at me.

"Well seeing as how it's because of you that I'm going to be a little late how about you take me to my next performance," she said looking at me.

"Performance?" I asked looking at her.

"Indeed, I'm preforming at a new stage in Canopy to celebrate five years with no tragedies," she said looking at me.

"Alright, well I don't have anything better to do," I said looking at her. I then walked with her to where she said she was preforming and stayed until after she was done. "You know now that I've heard you I can understand why so many people like you," I said looking at her.

"Oh you flatterer," she said looking at me. I then watched as she sat down and looked at me. "Now if I may have a moment of your time, I'd like to discuss something with you," she said looking at me.

I nodded and sat down hearing this and she smiled and snapped her fingers. When she did two large creatures came towards us. "Be good and get us something to drink," she said looking at them.

"Right away ma'am," one of the figures said walking away. When they walked away she sighed and looked at me.

"Look Frostwing, as odd as this may sound our meeting tonight was far more than just coincidence," she said looking at me, when she said this the two creature came back with some drinks. "You see I've heard about you and your special talent," she said looking at me.

I was a little nervous hearing this and she noticed. "Relax hun, I'm not going to threaten you or try to ruin your life. In fact jut the opposite, I want to offer you a job," she said with a smile.

"A job?" I questioned looking at her.

"Yes, you'd be something of an assistant to me," she said looking at me. "However first I need to make sure that what I've heard about you is true," she said looking at me. "So what do you? Mind showing me?" She asked looking at me.

I was a little nervous hearing this after all no one had offered me a job because of my power before. So I was a little nervous about showing it off. However if that's what I need to do in order to make sure that she hires me then so be it.

I then held out my arm in front of me and I felt my blood start to move and appear around it. "I can harden it make weapons or armor, and shoot it out as a projectile," I said looking at her. When I said she smiled and licked her lips slightly.

"Glad to see that the rumors about you were true. So what do you say? Feel like working for me?" She asked looking at me. It took me a few second decide before I nodded. When I did she smiled and offered me her hand. "I look forward to working with you," she said looking at me.

Flashback end

That was a few years ago, and we're still together. The only thing that's changed between then and now are my feelings for her. I don't think she's noticed yet or if she has then she's good at hiding it.

"Thank you all," I heard her say on stage as she began to walk off. She sighed and looked at me. "Come Frost," she said as she began to walk away. I nodded hearing this and began to follow behind her. "Something wrong Frost?" She asked looking at me.

"I think someone may try to hurt you," I said looking at her. When I said this she smiled and laughed slightly.

"That's very sweet of you Frost but I'm more than capable of taking care of myself," she said looking at me.

"I know you are," I said looking at her. She smiled hearing this and began to walk away. I followed behind her and sighed. She might not be so relaxed if she had been there. He vanished in an instant and he didn't seem phased at all when I was attacking him. If that's what he's capable of then he's on a whole other level than her.

If this is what love is then . . . I promise I will keep you safe, even if you don't return my feelings. I have to find him before he does anything.
