Oh my God Rose, you need to help Jack. You can't let him freeze to death, can you?

" Anna "

Rose, Leonardo DiCaprio is too precious for the world to die. Save him!

" Anna"

Goddammit Rose, I knew I shouldn't have trusted you with my Leo. Now see where that has landed him. Oh my poor boy!

" ANNA! "

I jerked forward as my eyelids flew open. Due to the sudden movement, the bowl of popcorn flipped over, showering me with the left over popcorn.

"What in the name of the flying popcorn did you -" I stopped short when I saw my father glaring at me.

"What are you doing here till now? " he asked.

"Well, I was watching a movie while eating popcorn but dozed off a little at the end. So basically I am kinda multi tasking, you know. " I laughed but stopped when I realized that my father did not share the humour. "What? "

Rubbing my eyelids, I looked at the TV in my front. I had been watching Titanic and then I dozed off, whilst dreaming about how Rose had been careless enough to leave my Leo in the freezing cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean. What! I liked him okay.

"Aren't you supposed to go somewhere? Why aren't you ready till now? " he asked.

Where was I supposed to go? I racked up my brain but came up with nothing. Earlier Alex had texting me asking if I wanted to go to one of James's party which he was throwing tonight. Not wanting to be anywhere near that man whore I had quickly denied.

"Where am I supposed to go? " I asked dumbfounded.

"To my office. We have a party remember? " he replied impatiently.

My dad's office often hosted parties. Even though I didn't like them much, I had gone to a few of them.

"Well, why didn't you mention it before? "I asked him.

My dad rolled his eyes. " Obviously I had told you about it last week and obviously you have managed to forget about it, again. "

" Ah, maybe. Well, since I forgot and it's pretty late so why don't you both go without me. " I tried to chicken out.

Apparently my dad caught on my plan. "Don't even think about it Anna. Go and get dressed quickly. " He said sternly.

I sighed and got up.

" And there will be important guests there. So make sure you are on your best behavior. "He added.

I rolled my eyes. " Yeah as if I'm gonna kick some ass ."

"Anna.. " he called warningly.

Despite his stern tone, he smiled and ruffled my hair as I passed by him to go to my bedroom.

"Don't worry dad. I'm not gonna kick anyone's.... Butt. " I said smiling back.

Twenty minutes later we were sitting in the car. As my dad started the car, my mom asked, "How do I look, honey? "

"You already know, don't you, dear?" He winked at her.

"No, I don't know. " She said, rolling her eyes good naturedly at my dad. "Just tell me already, will you."

"Baby, you don't know you're beautiful. " He said quoting the line from one of the famous song by one direction - What makes you beautiful.

"Oh shut up, " she said, her cheeks burning bright red.

"What it's true! Isn't it, Anna? "

"Yeah. " I grinned at my mom who was now covering her face with her hands as she blushed a deeper shade of red.

I smiled at them. I swear to God, sometimes they behaved like such a teenage couple who had just confessed their love for each other.

As if on cue, the song What makes you beautiful began to play on the radio.

You're insecure, don't know what for...

I started shouting along with the song as the chorus began.

"Ohhh oh oh, you don't know you're beautiful"

" Anna will you shut up. " My mom cried out exasperately, but I could notice the faint blush on her cheeks as this was the exact same line with which my dad had complimented her.

"Ohhh oh oh, that's what makes you beautiful. "

"What's the party for, this time? " My mom asked once I had finished singing the song.

" It's sort of a welcome party for a few important businessmen and CEO of some companies. We are planning to spread more branches of our company at the north, especially in New York ." He replied.

My mom nodded while I scrolled through my phone.

After a few moments we reached our destination. It was almost a half an hour drive. The hall where the party took place was packed with people. Men in expensive suits and wearing serious and somber expressions were gathered up here and there.

My dad walked up to a few of them, shaking hands and nodding at them occasionally whilst making small talks. My mom wandered up towards a table where a bunch of women were perched up, talking and laughing with each other animatedly, while I tagged along with my dad.

"Wow this place is really huge! "I said once we were alone.

"Yeah. "He replied. "We should finish our dinner fast. It takes almost half an hour to reach home. So we gotta drive off early, kiddo. "

I grumbled as he called me kiddo but nodded in response.

" Hello Mr. Mathews," a deep voice called out from behind us.

I turned back to look at the man standing behind us. He was a tall man, with blonde hair. Even though he looked a little older than my dad, he had a strikingly handsome face.

But there was something in his face which made him look all too similar to someone. I scrunched up my face in confusion as I tried to recall where I had seen someone similar like him.

"Hello to you too, Mr. Brooks. " My father replied looking surprised as both of them shook their hands.

Both were in a middle of a conversation when the abrupt ringing of my dad's phone cut them off.

"Excuse me. " He said apologetically before rushing off towards a corner to take his call.

Even though Mr. Brooks was standing right in front of me, neither of us attempted to talk to each other. It was plain weird. I looked down at my feet, shuffling them, as I stood there awkwardly.

"How's school going, Anna? "He asked all of a sudden making me look up at him.

At first I was surprised that he was talking to me. But what was more surprising was the fact that he had addressed me with my name. My dad hadn't introduced us before. So how come he even knew my name?

"Yeah, it's going great I guess. " I replied smiling.

"This is your last year of highschool right? "

"Yes, sir. "

He clicked his tongue in disapproval. "Ah none of that shit now. What's with the formality? Call me Robert. Anyways you are basically a straight A grade student. So I guess you won't have any problem finding a good college. "

At this point I openly gwaked at him. Was he stalking me? How did he know all these?

A man wearing a black suit came and whispered something to Robert. After nodding back, the man left.

" Well, it was good talking to you, Anna. I hope you have a good day. " He said and turned around to leave.

"Robert, I'm sorry if I sound rude, but have we met earlier?" I asked him.

Robert turned back and looked at me with an amused expression. "No. "

" Okay. It's just you seem familiar to me. Also I was curious as to how you know so much about me when we just met. "

He chuckled at my confusion and turned around. But before leaving, he told me, "Well, it's for you to figure out. "

Okay so basically a total stranger came to me, addressed me with my name even though I have just met each other for the very first time and basically ranted out about my academics. Not weird at all. I wondered what else he knew about me!

Anna: oh lord! He's such a stalker. How come he knows so much about me?

Author: *smirks* Well that's for you to figure out. *turns towards readers* Guys what do you think? Who was this mysterious man? Well.. That's -
