I reached the bus stop only to find out that I had already missed the bus. So I called my best friend Katie Evans to rescue me! She said that she was on her way and so here I was, waiting for her, for the past few minutes.

A car stopped in front of me and Katie rolled down her window from the driver's seat.

"Hurry up and get in".

I hoped into the car.

"It wasn't your car. So I was not sure. You know I really don't plan on getting kidnapped".

Katie rolled her eyes. "It's my granny's. I had a flat tire which I noticed today morning. So she lent me her car. She came here yesterday ".

" Oh", was all I said. The rest of the way was travelled in silence.

When we arrived, Katie parked the car. We got down and headed towards the office to collect our schedules.

"Anna Mathews and Katie.... Perry", I said to Mrs. Lark who was sitting at the office. From the corner of my eyes I could see Katie glaring at me. She always got annoyed whenever I called her that.

The old lady handed me my schedule and looked at Katie.

"Sorry but there's no one called Katie Perry... Wait Katie Perry? Isn't she an American singer? "

"Yes ma'am. But she's Katie Evans". I replied pointing at Katie.

"But-but I think you told me.... ", she trailed off, looking confused.

"Yes ma'am..? "I asked her, giving her an innocent look.

"Oh nothing dear! Must be my old age".

I burst out laughing as we stepped out of the office.

"Idiot! "Katie muttered but she was smiling. "So how was your vacation? Got to meet any hot boys ?"

I gave her a flat look not even bothering to answer. "What about you? "I asked her.

A blush immediately spread in her cheeks and before I could tell anything she blurted out "Dave Wilson asked me out".

"Whaaaat?! And u did not bother to tell me? "I yelled at her.

Dave Wilson was the star footballer of our school. I wasn't surprised at the fact that Dave had asked Katie out. Katie was very beautiful. She had long tan skin and a body to die for. What made her different was her personality.

Katie was very fun and outgoing. Her friendly nature is what stood out the most when I first met her.

"Sorry". Then looking down at her phone she said, "Shit! I have to go. Dave asked me to meet him before class started. I'll meet you at lunch? "

I nodded. Waving me goodbye she went away, her long blonde hair fluttering behind her back.

I waved back and as I was about to walk away I heard someone call my name.

"Anna? "

I turned around and almost stopped breathing when I saw the person who had called my name.

Hi guys. I know this chapter was short and very boring. I am sorry for that! But I assure you things will soon start turning interesting.

Also I have thought about something. Let's suggest songs to each other. What do u say guys? From the next chapters I will be writing down a song's name. In return you can give me your feedbacks or suggest some other song.
