"New rabbit in town"

At Pizzaeriba, it was closed for the interviews. The only ones inside were Bugs, Daffy, Speedy, and Porky.
"See Speedy," Bugs started to explain. "All we gotta do, is put this clipboard everywhere and wait till the end of the day to see who wants the job."
"But what if it doesn't work?" Speedy asked.
"It's gotta work. Who can not resist signing up to work at Pizzaeriba?"
"It-it-it'll be fun." Porky stammered as usual. "There might be workers who are as fast as you."
"Maybe. Okay, let's put the signed up."
Bugs, Daffy, and Porky were outside, hammering the clip board.
"This is silly," Daffy said. "It'll never work."
"Yes it will." Bugs said. "All we gotta do is wait by this afternoon, to see who signed up."
"Y-y-you are someone who will be good to help Sp-sp-Speedy?" Porky said.
"Trust me. Then by Monday, we'll have the interview, and by Friday I got another idea."

Later that day, the Pizzarriba closed, and Bugs grabbed the clip board seeing all the writing that was put on. He ran inside and said "Looks like you're gonna get a lot of workers Speedy!"
"How many signed up?" Speedy asked.
"About twenty eight of them."
"W-wow. That's a l-lo-lot of people." Porky said.
"That's not so much." Daffy said as he looked at the board. "If you want more, you're gonna need two more and that will be enough."
"So Monday will be the interview." speedy looked at the filer. "But what if they lie and they ain't good?"
"That's why I also put on Friday for each three workers to come in and show us how fast they make a pizza and how fast they can finish it." Bugs said.
"Ooh. Good thinking Senior Bunny."
"Aren't I a genius?"
"Nope." Daffy said. "If anyone should be a genius, it's me. I invented the auto-banana peeler."
"That's the copy of the carrot peeler."
"But it's auto."

On Monday, it was closed again. There were a few people in line outside ready for the interview. Speedy was nervous. "What if this never works?" He said.
"It will. Trust me. Your first worker will be the first guy to walk through that door. Porky, shout out the names of people so they could come in."
"Roger." Porky grabbed the clip board and walked outside reading. "First up, J-J-J-Jack Kerfman."
The man came in and sat at the table with Bugs and Speedy. He was a redhead with bug buck teeth and freckles. He wore a green and khaki pants.
"So me. Kerfman, tell us about yourself," Speedy said.
"Well, I like video games, eat pizza, watching girls... Eat pizza..."
Obviously he's not working material.

"So you find it easy to make a knuckle sandwich than a pizza?" Bugs asked the next guy.
He seem pretty much old. The only thing that proved it was his glasses.
"Yes sire," he answered in his scratchy voice.

The next guy came up and he looked scary. He had tattoos all over him. He had long black hair and wore a black vest that showed his chest and blue jeans. Before he could speak...
"Let me guess, you think making a knuckle sandwich is easy?" Bugs asked.
"No. But I so like doing this." Then he grabbed a kazoo and pit against his butt. He started to play a catchy tune, but Bugs and Speedy couldn't take the smell.
"Alright that's enough man," Speedy said.

The sun was coming down and Speedy was already upset. There were only two people who seemed alright for the job. But they still have to show if they could make a pizza.
"Okay that's it. No more people walking in." Speedy said.
"But we only got one more person." Bugs said showing the board.
"I don't care. There's no one good for this job. I give up."
"Okay. After this person. If this last one ain't good enough, we'll stop. Okay?"
Bugs gave the board back to Porky. Porky went outside and said the name "I-I-Irma Rabbit?"
As the person walked in, thy were amazed.
Irma was a rabbit, kinda like Bugs. Her fur and hair were brown and she had white fur over her mouth. She had a pink nose just like him. Her ears were up and long. She wore a black jacket with a blue shirt and black pants. Her hair was cut short and was straight handing down.
To prove they were surprise, Daffy whistle as the rabbit walked in. She sat down at the table with a smile on her face.
"Why hello," Speedy said smiling. "You must be Irma Rabbit."
"That's me. Such an honor to meet you Speedy Gonzalez." She reached her to shake his.
Instead of shaking, he grabbed her hand and gave it a kiss. "So seniorita, tell us about yourself."
"Well, I like to work hard to help many people, like having fun unlike most people, and hope I can help out as much as I can."
"I see. Is there any issue of being allergic or anything we must know about?" Bugs asked either the note pad in his hand.
"Well, I am allergic to peanut butter, I can't take a flu shot, and I guess I'm a little autistic."
"Why can't you take the flu shot?"
"My aunt told me it's dangerous for me. And I might die. I'm not sure. All I know is that I can't have it."
"And nothing else, correct?" Speedy asked.
"Correct."
"So where do you live?"
Speedy looked at Bugs, surprised he would asked that. "What? So we know if something is wrong."
"Well it's 411 Butterfly Lane."
"Ooh, the pretty neighborhood huh?"
"I guess so. I kinda grew up there."
"Have you even to Pizzarriba before?"
"Sometimes. My uncle says to come here once a week."
"Why would he say that?" Speedy asked.
"He feels that anywhere I go is dangerous. I don't know. My aunt and are weird since the beginning."
"Well, so far you have definitely impress me seniorita," Speedy said. "And I believe you saw, that on Friday, we will let you people come in and show us how you make a pizza. Are you ready for the challenge?"
"I'm certainly ready. My aunt says I'm the fastest cooker in my home."
"Well you might be the fastest here as well. Come back next Friday and show us how you do it."
"Will do." She started to dig through her purse and she grabbed a work card and handed it to Bugs since he was closer. "Here's my number if you need me."
"Will do." Speedy said.
She stood up and started to walk out the door. "Have a nice day mr. Gonzalez." She said.
"Now there's a new worker." Speedy said.
"I can't believe she have us her number." Bugs continued to look at the card. "And we didn't even need to ask."

Bugs could not get his eyes off the card from Irma. He was so surprised that she just handed it to him. He couldn't get her off his mind. He kept seeing her sitting at the table smiling.
"Yeah, he's right here." Daffy handed Bugs the phone still looking at the card. "Hello?" He said.
"Hey bun-bun," he heard a familiar voice but he wasn't paying attention of who it is.
"Hey."
"So, what do ya have plan for our date tho Saturday?" She asked.
"Yeah..." He still stared at the card.
"Uh bun-bun?"
"Yes?"
"It's me. Lola."
Bugs eyes widen and he fell off the couch dropping the phone and card.
"Bun-bun?"
"Hey Lola!" He grabbed the phone immediately and whip the sweat off his forehead. "Hey! Sorry! I just woke up! Um, what was it that you need?"
There was a long silence. "Our date?"
"Oh yeah! Our date! Don't worry. It's a surprise."
"Ooh I like surprises. Well I'll all ya tomorrow. Bye bye." Then she hung up.
Bugs put down the phone and face palm himself.
Daffy came back in looking at his friend with a grin. "Looks like someone is into something more important."
"What are you talking about?" Bugs stood on his feet and started to walk to the kitchen. Daffy followed the bunny.
"You know. Little miss new face."
"Who?"
Daffy turned around and said "oh hey Irma."
"Nice try. I'm not falling for it." Bugs didn't fall for the trick.
"Hey Daffy."
Bugs jumped and shouted.
Irma walked in the kitchen and shook Daffy's hand. "Nice house."
"Thank you. I take very good care if it," Daffy said.
"You don't take care if it."
"Bugs please. Let the adults talk please?"
Bugs rolled his eyes and left the kitchen, letting Daffy and Irma talk. 'What is she doing here?' Bugs thought feeling nervous.
"You have to excuse my friend." Daffy said. "He's very cheerful when guest arrive. So re you excited for the job?"
"Yeah. I hope I get it. I like making food for people who need it at most."
"So sweet. So what do you do usually in your free time?"
"Nothing much. Just draw, clean, hang out with my boyfriend."
"Your boyfriend?"
"Yep. His name is Cesar."
"Ooh, how long have you two been dating?"
"Almost a year. But I have a feeling it'll end soon."
"Why?"
Bugs started to get interested. He tip toe behind the wall rant led to the kitchen and ease drop.
"Well, I jut feel he's not the right guy for me. He's, very sensitive."
"How sensitive?"
Suddenly there was a ring of a phone that made everyone jump. "Oh sorry. That's my phone." Irma reached in her pocket and grabbed her phone. "Is it okay if I...?"
"Oh yes. Go ahead my dear." Daffy walked out of the kitchen to let her talk alone with whoever is on the phone. He walked to where Bugs was. "What are you doing?"
"Shhh."
"Hello?" Irma answered her phone. The respond she got was a yell. Bugs and Daffy could hear the yelling. "Oh hey honey."
There was more yelling.
"I'm at a friend's house."
More yelling.
"Just talking. Nothi..."
The yelling interrupted her again.
"Can't I..."
Yelling again.
"Okay. I'll be right there." Then she hung up and started to stand up.
"Can I come in?" Daffy said.
"Yeah. I gotta go. That was Cesar."
"Why would he need ya right now? You just got here."
"Trust me. It's best if I was there right now. Well I'll see ya on Friday." Then she walked out the door with a sad expression on her face.
Bugs and Daffy felt guilt. Why would he yell at her for? Was there something's she did by accident? What is up?
