Part 6

Afternoon:

Dadi was coming towards downstairs for lunch. When she was passing through Sheetal's room, she stopped hearing some noises.

"No. I don't want anything. I want papa. Mom, you promised me that you will introduce me to Papa in Delhi." Said Aarav.

" Aarav but your papa married someone else beta. He doesn't know about you" Sheetal is going to say something when Dadi knocked the door.

Sheetal looked at her.

"IS everything OK ?"asked Dadi.

"Yeah. We are fine" said Sheetal wiping her fake tears.

Dadi just nodded her head and left from there.

After lunch, Arnav Khushi are at the poolside talking about some random things while Aashi is sleeping in the room.

Arnav's mobile rang. He went aside and talked over the phone.

"Khushi. I need to leave for office" said Arnav coming near to her.

"What!! Today is Sunday Arnavji" said Khushi.

"Yeah. But it's my client's call. He wants to leave abroad for some reasons tomorrow. So, he suggested it would be better if we meet now" said Arnav.

"Ok. But we thought to take Aashi to park in the evening" said Khushi.

"Take Di with you Khushi. I will come directly to park" said Arnav.

Khushi pouted but agreed.

" I will inform Akash " said Arnav and was going but Akash was coming into their room.

"Bhai. Mr. Saxena called" said Akash.

"Yeah Akash. Get ready. We will leave within half an hour" said Arnav.

Akash left from there nodding his head.

Soon, Raizada brothers left for AR.

In the Evening:

Khushi brought Aashi into Garden at the back side of the house. She made Aashi sit on the grass and went towards corner of the garden. Aashi squealed happily knowing what was going to happen. Khushi smiled at her daughter's excitement and opened a small hutch's door. Soon, two rabbits came out of the hutch. Khushi took them both holding their ears and brought them near Aashi.

Aashi started playing with them happily. Khushi sat beside her watching Aashi's cute antics.

After half an hour, Arnav came there.

"Aashi" came Arnav smiling to them. Aashi was delighted seeing her father.

Arnav came and lifted up Aashi who giggled at him. He kissed her cheeks and sat down on the grass taking her in his lap.

Khushi sighed seeing it. The Great ASR is sitting on the grass for his daughter. She really appreciates the change in Arnav after Aashi is born. He will completely turn into child when he is with Aashi. If Khushi has changed ASR into Arnav to some extent then Aashi has changed him completely to Arnav without any traces of ASR in him. Even in Office too, he won't shout much on staff these days. Everyone in the staff are giving the credit to Aashi. But sometimes, his love for Aashi worries her. What if Aashi turns stubborn because of his pampering ? That is why she tries to be strict with Aashi.

Aarav who followed Arnav to the garden is seeing them from a distance.

"Khushi!!" Arnav shook her.

Khushi looked at him.

"Where are you lost ?"asked Arnav, " I am calling you but you are not responding"

"Nothing Arnavji. I thought you will come late" said Khushi.

" Meeting completed early" said Arnav.

"Khushiji." Akash came there looking for Khushi.

"Haan jiju. I am here" said Khushi.

Akash came near them with a packet in his hand. He forwarded the packet to Khushi.

"Khushiji. This is chat for Payal. She asked me to bring it but Maa is sitting in the hall. I can't give her this. So, you please" said Akash.

"OK Jiju. You don't worry. I will give it to jiji without mami noticing" said Khushi, took the packet and left from there.

Akash sat down on the grass beside Arnav.

"What is my doll doing ?"asked Akash tickling Aashi who laughed out loud.

Akash and Arnav are playing with Aashi with happily.

Aarav stood there looking at them sadly with a fallen face.

Dadi, who is observing all this from her room's window was first irritated seeing Arnav's love for Aashi but when she saw Aarav longing face, she grew suspicious.

In the night:

After dinner, everyone are present in the hall when HP came with dessert. He gave to everyone but when he have to Aarav he declined.

"What happened Aarav ? Don't you like it ?"asked Anjali.

"No Anjali aunty. I can't take sweets" said Aarav.

"Why Beta ?"asked Nani.

"Actually he have diabetes" said Sheetal.

"Diabetes!! At this small age" said Payal.

"Yeah. It's hereditary" said Sheetal, "His father have diabetes and it passed on to him"

Everyone felt sorry for the little boy.

"But he took laddu when I gave him yesterday" asked Khushi.

Sheetal feeling embarrassed said, " He just took it Khushi. He gave it to me when we went to our room"

"Oh.. You could have said to me Sheetalji. I would have asked HPji to make sugarless one for him. Since Arnavji doesn't like this sweet, I asked HP not to make it for him"

"It's OK" said Sheetal.

Dadi's thought process went on hearing Sheetal's words.

Next morning:

Anjali came down in a hurry. All the ladies are in the pooja room while Akash and Arnav reading news paper.

"Di. What happened ? Why are you in hurry ?"asked Arnav.

"I need to leave for college Chote. I am already late" said Anjali.

"Di. It is still 7.30 AM. You leave by 8.30 AM daily" said Akash.

"Haan Akash but from today, exams are going to start. I have invigilation duty. So, this whole week I will be busy and need to leave early. I will also come late in the evening" said Anjali pouting.

"Di!!" Khushi came there followed by other ladies.

"You could have said to us earlier Di. I would have asked HP to prepare breakfast" said Khushi.

"It's Ok Khushiji. I will have something in canteen. I will be late in the evening too" said Anjali.

"Where are you going Anjali Bitiya ?"asked Dadi completely clueless of what's happening.

"I am going to college Dadi" said Anjali.

Dadi looked at her confused, "Why ?"

"I am working as a lecturer in XXXX College Dadi" said Anjali.

"What!!" almost shouted Dadi.

Everyone looked at her with confused expressions.

"What happened Dadi ?"asked Anjali.

"What happened!! You are asking what happened. Anjali Bitiya, Did you became burden for your brothers that they are sending you to earn money ?"asked Dadi.

Family was shocked by Dadi's words.

"Di is not burden for us" said Arnav gritting his teeth.

"Then why are you sending her to earn money ?" asked Dadi then turned to Anjali, " Your soo called brothers claims to love you soo much. Then, where is their love now ? Can't they feed you now ? I know this is all these Gupta sisters work. They must have fed their husbands not to spend on you anymore. They made you away from your husband and now see, they are making you work. If it goes like this, they will both kick you out of this house soon."

"Subadhra!! Don't talk rubbish" said Nani was going to say something but Anjali stopped her.

"Dadi. Let me clear you few things. Never judge my brother's love. They both love and care for me more than you. It was completely my decision to work. I want to be independent and my brothers supported me in this. Being independent doesn't mean you are burden to your family. And never blame my Bhabi's. You just want a chance to blame them" said Anjali.

Dadi fumed hearing Anjali's words.

" I am leaving now." Said Anjali then turned to Payal and Khushi, " There is no need to take Dadi's words seriously and spoil your moods."

Anjali left from there. Dadi looked at family who went to their respective works ignoring her.
