Part 14

Anjali was confused first but nevertheless went and opened the main door only to witness Arnav Singh Raizada standing in front of her with a smile on his face.

Her sleep went away seeing her chote.

"Chote" Anjali hugged her brother tightly..

Arnav hugged her back smilingly.

"How are you Di ?"asked Arnav still in hug.

All those incidents which happened came into Anjali's memory. She had tears remembering what happened in the house in her chote's absence.

Arnav brought Anjali out of hug and saw her tears.

"Di.. What happened ?? Why are you crying ?"asked Arnav in a concerned tone.

Anjali thinking it won't be nice to bother Arnav as soon as he came said, " Nothing Chote. I missed you. I just got emotional seeing you.. That's it!"

Arnav easily got her lie. Her words and facial expressions didn't match. Seems like something happened thought Arnav.

"Di. Where is Khushi ? I called her but she didn't lift" said Arnav.

"She must be in the room only Chote. Let's see" said Anjali.

Both the siblings went towards Arnav's room. They knocked on the door.

"Who is it ?"came Khushi's sleepy voice from the room. They can hear her foot steps. Arnav hide beside the wall without visible to Khushi. Anjali looked at him frowning but he signaled her to be silent.

"Oh Chote.. This is not time to play this silly games.. We all and especially Khushiji needs you in this situation" thought Anjali.

The door opened and Khushi looked at Anjali.

"Di.. You!! At this time.. What happened ? Is everything OK ?"asked Khushi.

Anjali entering into the room looked at Aashi who is in her cradle.

"I just came to check on you both" said Anjali.

Khushi looked at her confused while Anjali smiled sheepishly.

"What happened Di ?"asked Khushi.

"Someone came to meet you" said Anjali finally. She is not in a mood to play games along with her chote.

"Who ?"said Khushi and turned towards door. Arnav came at the door with a smile. Khushi was puzzled and surprised seeing him. She can't believe her eyes.

"A..Arnavji.." stammered Khushi, " Are you real ?"

Arnav came into the room and pinched her hand. She hissed in pain rubbing her hand.

"Yes. I am real wifey" said Arnav with a teasing tone.

Khushi got tears in her eyes with happiness and pain. Happiness as now her Arnavji is back and pain remembering what happened in his absence.

She hugged Arnav with all her might making him stumble.. Arnav hugged her back though surprised by her act. Anjali left from there silently leaving the couple in privacy.

Arnav started stroking Khushi's hairs when he heard her sobs. He brought her out of the hug and looked at her face. She had dark rings below her eyes and she is looking very pale.

"What happened Khushi ?"asked Arnav cupping her face.

Khushi came into her senses, " Nothing.. I just missed you.. I couldn't control when I saw you.."

"Are you sure ?"asked Arnav.

"Yeah.. yes.. You go and freshen up. You must be tired of journey" said Khushi going towards wardrobe.. She picked out clothes and gave to Arnav who took them silently and went into washroom.

After sometime, when Arnav came out, he found Khushi sitting on the bed lost in his thoughts. He went near Aashi's cradle. Khushi got alert seeing it..

"Khushi.. Why is Aashi looking pale and she seems to lose her weight too ?"asked Arnav caressing Aashi's cheek.

"She had fever Arnavji" said Khushi.

"What !! When ?"asked Arnav.

"On the day of her vaccination" said Khushi.

"Then why didn't you informed me" said Arnav. Khushi didn't said anything.. She just sat on the bed without looking at him.

Arnav understood something happened. He came near Khushi and sat beside her..

"Even you are looking pale and worn out.. What happened Khushi ?" asked Arnav lifting Khushi's chin.

"Can we talk in the morning ?"asked Khushi..

Arnav sensed something more serious than he expected.. He nodded his head and pulled Khushi into the hug who hugged him with all her life.

"Let's sleep" said Arnav and slept hugging her..

Khushi slept within few minutes while Arnav couldn't sleep.. He is thinking about Anjali and Khushi's reactions after seeing him.. Both of them are looking sad and in pain.. Something happened in absence and he just hope Dadi isn't involved in that.. He kissed Khushi's forehead and slept..

Next morning:

Khushi woke up from her sleep and looked around. She remembered Arnav coming back. She looked around and didn't found him. Did she dreamt all that or did Arnavji really came ? thought Khushi.

That is when Arnav entered the room from poolside. Khushi sighed in relief seeing him while Arnav smiled to her.

"Arnavji.. You woke up early" asked Khushi.

Arnav raised his eyebrow and gestured her to look at the time.. Khushi saw the time is 8.30 AM.

"What!! Time is 8. 30.. Why didn't you wake me up ?"almost shouted Khushi.

"Relax Khushi. Today is Sunday. I didn't want to disturb your sleep. You were looking too cute when you are sleeping that too opening your mouth" said Arnav.

Khushi glared at him angrily for teasing her.

"Ok Ok. Sorry..You go and freshen up. I need to make a conference call. I will come within half an hour"said Arnav and went towards study room.

Khushi sighed seeing him go.. She needs to talk with him what happened here. About Sheetal, Aarav and about Aashi.. She is afraid to say about Aashi's health as it will bring Arnav into ASR form. He will rip them(family) especially her alive..

After an hour, when Arnav came into room, he saw Khushi struggling to make Aashi dressed.

"My Princess" Arnav went near her.

Aashi, seeing her father squealed loudly in happiness..She started to come towards him when Arnav took her into her arms and kissed her whole face.. Even Aashi started to pat his face showing how much she missed him.. Khushi looked at the father daughter duo with content..

"Khushi" Payal came into the room calling for Khushi and was surprised to see Arnav.

"Arnavji!!" said Payal with a surprised tone, "When did you came ?"

"In the mid night Payal" said Arnav, " How is your health ?"

"I am absolutely fine Arnavji.. Oh Godd.. Finally, you came.. I can't express how happy I am. Now, I am tensions free that my sister's life won't be spoiled" said Payal not realizing what she is saying..

"Jiji!!" said Khushi stopping her..

"What did you just say now Payal ?" asked Arnav, "What happened to Khushi ?"

Payal gulped not knowing what to say. She looked at Khushi who is also helpless.

"Actually Arnavji.. What happened is..." Payal was going to say something when Akash shouted for her from their room.

"Akash is calling me.. I will leave now" said Payal then turning to Khushi, " Khushi!! I think you should say Arnavji what happened in his absence"

Payal left from there smiling at Arnav who stood confused.

Arnav turned to Khushi, said softly " What happened in my absence Khushi ? By seeing your face, I can estimate something happened which hurt you a lot.. Say me What is it ? Is it related to Dadi ? Did she hurt by her words ?"

Khushi hugged him tightly crying.. Arnav was panicked seeing Khushi crying but hugged her back. Aashi was sandwiched between her parents..

"Arnav Bhaiyya!!" HP came knocked the door.

Khushi came out of the hug and wiped her tears.. Arnav sighed and looked at Hp.

"Someone came to meet you.. They said you asked them to come" said HP.

Arnav remembered whom he called, " Say them I am coming"

HP left from there. Arnav turned to Khushi.

" We will talk later Khushi. No matter whatever happen, I am there for you.. I love you.. Now, bring everyone downstairs.. I have a surprise for all" said Arnav, gave Aashi to Khushi and left from there.

Though confused Khushi went to call everyone for downstairs.

Arnav saw the two persons he called and was going towards them when he bumped with someone. It was none other than Aarav.

Aarav's face lit up seeing Arnav while the later's face turned into confusion..

Sheetal and Aarav are still in the house.. It is more than two weeks they came thought Arnav.

One of the two persons came near Arnav, "ASR.. We brought the decoration idea themes you said. If you call your family, then we can finalise the theme for function"

"You called for decorations for the function" asked Aarav excitedly.

Arnav nodded his head..

That's it, Aarav ran away from there calling, "Mumma!! Badi Dadi!! Come here.. Quick"

Arnav was totally confused of this boy's actions.. Why is he running excitedly ?

"ASR!!" called one of the person.

Arnav turned to them, " You both sit. My family will come down soon. I want to take everyone's opinion and plan the party in a grand manner. I want everything to be the best. The theme should be unique. You don't worry about the budget"

"Ok ASR. We will arrange everything perfectly" said one of the person.
