Part 13

Downstairs:

Khushi came downstairs and saw Dadi, Sheetal looking into some papers.

"Dadiji" called Khushi.

Dadi and Sheetal looked up at her. They sensed she is angry.

"You came on right time. I was going to call you" said Dadi coming near Khushi with papers in her hand.

"Did you enroll Arnavji's name as Aarav's father ?"asked Khushi.

"Yes.." said Dadi.

"Why ??"asked Khushi.

"Don't you know why ?? Because Aarav is Chote's son. He is heir of this house" said Dadi.

"What rubbish are you talking Dadi ?" asked Anjali this time.

"I am not talking rubbish Anjali. I am saying the truth.. This girl is hiding the truth from you all. She knew that Aarav is Chote's son but still she didn't inform you all." Said Dadi.

"I don't believe Sheetal's words.. I trust my Arnavji. When he said to me that Sheetal means nothing to him then and now, then that is true. She means nothing to my husband" said Khushi with a stern voice.

"Sheetal have already explained what happened that night" said Dadi.

"I don't believe her story" said Khushi.

"Why ? Why don't you believe it ? Because you are afraid.. Isn't it ? You are afraid that Arnav will send you away from his life if he comes to know that he has son now"said Dadi.

"My Arnavji doesn't have low thoughts like you Dadi.. He doesn't differentiate between a girl and boy" said Khushi.

Dadi fumed hearing Khushi's words.

"Wait a minute you both.. Tell us what is happening ?"asked Nani.

Dadi gestured Sheetal to say and Sheetal explained the story of what happened between her and Arnav on graduation night.

"I Swear.. Aarav is Arnav's son" said Sheetal at last crying..

"I don't believe this.. My Chote will never do this." said Anjali too.

"Anjali Bitiya.. Sheetal is saying he was drunk then" said Dadi.

"But Still I don't believe it until Chote says it.. Also, Sheetal why didn't you came back all these years ? Why you came now ?"asked Anjali

Sheetal was tongue tied, " Actually Anjaliji, I thought that I can bring up Aarav alone but he became stubborn to meet his father.. So, I had to come"

"Your story is not convincing us Sheetal" said Payal.

"HHBB. What proof is there that Aarav is Arnav bitwa's child ?"asked Mami.

"What more proofs do you want ? Can't you see the way Aarav walks, talks, dresses and behaves ? Even he have diabetes like Chote" said Dadi.

" Aarav's behaviour is exactly like Chote.. That doesn't mean he is Chote's son.. He can trained to act like Chote too.." said Anjali.

"Enough of this questions.. Aarav is Arnav's son and that is truth.. I will make sure Aarav and Sheetal get their rights" said Dadi.

The whole family looked a Dadi angrily..

"As soon as Chote comes, I will explain him what he did and then I will arrange Chote and Sheetal's marriage" said Dadi..

The whole family looked at her with wide eyed especially Khushi.

"W..What!!"Payal was the first one to come out of the shock.

"Yes, I will make Arnav agree to marry Sheetal and perform their marriage" said Dadi then turning to Khushi, showed two sets of papers, " These are two sets of papers. If you accept Sheetal and Arnav's marriage, then sign this set of papers that you don't have any objection with this marriage. In that case, even you all can live here in this house. If you don't agree, then sign this divorce papers. If you give divorce, then you won't be living in this house and you will receive alimony from us. Now, you decide what you want. Do you want to live in this house by signing no objection form or do you want to go away from this house giving divorce to Arnav ? Choice is yours"

Whole family was shocked hearing Dadi's words and she was well prepared with papers too. They all looked at Khushi only to witness never seen angry avatar of Khushi. She is literally fuming in anger. If looks could kill, then Dadi would have died then and there.

Khushi almost snatched the papers from Dadi's hands roughly.

She tore the papers into pieces making Dadi and others shocked.

"Mrs. Subadhra Malik, I am neither going to divorce my husband nor let him marry any other woman.. Arnav Singh Raizada is mine..Only mine. Get that straight in your mind" said Khushi looking directly into Dadi's eyes and gritting her teeth.

Raizadas were truly surprised and felt proud seeing Khushi's this bold avatar. They understood Khushi's emotions and knew Dadi needs this treatment from Khushi for trying to ruin her life. No one wants to interfere in between Khushi and Dadi for now.

Dadi and Sheetal were clearly spell bound seeing Khushi's new avatar. They never thought Khushi will rebel like this. They thought being a selfless girl, she will go away silently but they doesn't know sometimes life teaches us to be selfish to secure our own happiness.

Khushi, then averted her gaze towards Sheetal.

"Ms. Sheetal Kapoor. Pack your bags and get out of my house. You have stayed more than necessary" said Khushi gritting her teeth.

Sheetal gulped seeing Khushi's glare.

"Sheetal won't go anywhere"said Dadi firmly.

"She has to leave this house and that too now" said Khushi.

"She won't.." said Dadi too angrily.

Anjali thought to intervene before the worse happens.

"Dadi.. Khushiji is saying right.. Sheetal has to leave this house. Even, I won't accept that Aarav is Chote's son" said Anjali.

"You people are just blinded by the love you have for this girl (Showing Khushi).. Aarav is Arnav's son and I will make sure he gets his rights" shouted Dadi.

Everyone looked at her with frustration..

"If you all try to kick out Sheetal and Aarav from this house, then I will straightely go to media and inform them this news. I will inform them how you are denying to give Aarav his rights when Arnav is not here and how you kicked them out.. I will keep a press meet and announce this to whole world that Aarav is biological son of Arnav" said Dadi.

The family was literally dumbfounded hearing it.. Did they hear it for real ? Did she threaten them now ?

"What happened now ? Why are you all silent ? Shall I go to media now ?"asked Dadi.

"Subi.. You are going overboard now. You want to keep house affairs in front of this whole world" said Nani angrily.

"You people didn't left with any option Devyani" said Dadi then turning to Sheetal, " Let's go.. We will go from this house"

Sheetal nodded her head but she is fearing in her heart.. This is really going overboard now..

"No Wait" said Akash..

Dadi and Sheetal looked at him. Family looked at him frowning..

"Don't go to media.. Bhai will come in two days .. Let's discuss with him then. Until then, you both stay here" said Akash.

Dadi had a proud look on her face and gave a winning smile to Khushi. She left from there followed by Sheetal.

"Akash.. What is this ? Why did you stop them from leaving ?"asked Payal angrily holding Akash's collar.

"Relax Payal.." said Akash freeing his collar from her hands.

"How can you even ask me to relax ? That woman is trying to ruin my sister's life and you want me to relax" almost shouted Payal crying.

Khushi went near her jiji and held her shoulder, "Jiji.. Relax.. You shouldn't react like this. It won't be good for you and your baby"

Payal hit her head with hand, " What should I do with this girl ? Here, her life is going to spoil and she is concerned about me and my baby"

"Even you are thinking about me without worrying about you and your baby too jiji" said Khushi calmly..

"Payal. Listen to me once why I did that ?"said Akash.

Payal looked at him angrily..

"Jiji.. Atleast listen to jijaji first" said Khushi.

"Say what you want to" said Payal.

"You heard how Dadi threatened to go media.. If media comes to know this, they will create more hype adding more misinformation. It effects Bhai's reputation and this family's too.. I don't want to put Bhai's reputation at risk that too when he is not around.. He doesn't have even slightest idea what is happening here.." said Akash.

"What you did is right jiju ? Even, I don't want Arnavji's reputation at stake" said Khushi.

Others too agreed.

"Let Chote come first.." said Nani

Just then they heard Aashi's crying sounds..

"I will go to her" said Khushi and went from there followed by Payal.. Nani and Mami too left from there..

Only Akash and Anjali are present..

"My God!! This all is happening behind us and we are unaware.." said Anjali.

"Haan Di.. Dadi is really too much" said Akash.

"Leave Dadi for now Akash." Said Anjali, " For now ask your PA to collect details about Sheetal before morning"

"Yes Di. I will do it.. Let ASR come, he will show everyone their places" said Akash.

Anjali looked at Akash and nodded her head with a smile.

It was midnight. Anjali is sleeping when her mobile rang.. She lifted the call without seeing the caller id..

"Hello" said Anjali in a sleepy tone.

"Di!!" Arnav's voice boomed from other side.

"Chote!!" Anjali sat up on the bed with a jerk, " What happened ? Why di you call at this time ?"

"Open the main door first" said Arnav and disconnected the call.

Anjali was confused first but nevertheless went and opened the main door only to witness Arnav Singh Raizada standing in front of her with a smile on his face.
