Chapter 8

Iris spent the full moon with her pack on the mulls of Locgaurd. The next day Iris made a call to Bram. His tone was full of worry when he answered. "I was about to fly over there bloody wolf!" This made her heart warm over. "Bram" she whispers. "What's wrong?" He asked knowing she had his attention Iris told him everything. "So the two cubs are adopted?" He asked "I don't think so they are testing our blood now. If I am right then we have a bigger problem." Iris was concerned because if her brother had cubs before her...He would have every right to be alpha. 'He went behind our back an fucked a rouge. They aren't from a pack female so that is not the case.' Rain pipes up in her mind. Normally Iris would agree with her wolf but she also knew her brother. She thought back for a moment and gasped. If they are related then she knew who the mother was. "Alasdair was with a female in our old home. She was pretty for a omega female. Because of her status my dad had to banish her. The cubs are old enough to fit in that time frame." She said praying she was wrong. "I will know for sure when the test is complete." Iris said holding her head. "You are bringing them with you anyway aren't you?" Bram asked. "Yes they are just cubs even if they aren't related to me." Bram signs "if they aren't who do you want taking them in?" He asked  "I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I just wanted to let you know I'm ok." Iris hung up turning her attention to Susan. "The cubs they are Alasdair's children." I growl Arrow took the cubs father away. 'We will raise them.' Rain chimes in. 'And what about what Bram wants?' Iris retorts to her wolf. 'Dragons love children so do wolves.'Rain said before going to the back of Iris's mind. "What will we do with them? The mother abandoned them no way of tracking her." Susan said making Iris shake her head. "I will bleed them to me and Bram. They will be our children and deserve a home."  Iris knew leaving in wolf form would be dangerous due to her brother being out there. "Get the pack ready and the cubs we leave soon." Was the last thing she said before heading to Finn.

Iris pov

'Bram will not turn them away stop worrying.' Rain said as we prepare to leave. I ignore her for now knowing I need to be alert for the rouge wolves. "Do you want an escorted back to stone fire?" Finn asked walking with Rachel and Raphael. "No we will be fine I just want them delivered to Stonefire safely." I said knowing a dragon flying them is the safest option. "Alright then come along young ones. Your auntie will be right behind you." The two nod following Finn. 'They know about what Arrow and Theo did.' Rain said sad over the loss of her brother. 'Mom will watch over Alasdair and Dasker.' I said watching the dragon take to the sky with Susan and the cubs. "Alright the rest of you with me. Be on alert the forest is not safe." I said before shifting in moments we take off into the forest.

Bram pov
'She will be home soon have faith in her.' My dragon said as I pace. 'I know she will be ok I just want her home safe. I don't want her sad or in pain.' My dragon huffed at what I said. 'You obviously have no faith in her strength. She is an Alpha after all and from what I observed a bloody good one.' All I can do is agree with him. Its almost night fall when the wolves come into view. I was about to greet them when I saw it wasn't out wolves. A black wolf lunged at me , when they were tackled by an Aulburn colored wolf who I knew was Iris. Iris and the black wolf circle each other growling, before going at eachother. I wasn't sure wat to do. 'Bram tell your dragons to get inside. This is a wolf fight nothing you can do.' Iris said over mind link. I nod and do as she said. Hours pass and the sound of growling and barks could be heard till wit was deathly quite. A howl cut threw the silence. My heart pounded in my chest was it a howl from one of ours or them? I want to rush out the door but without knowing what was going on, it could be dangerous. Please be ok you bloody wolf.
